The digital messaging on the packaging is worrying for the future, do you think future PlayStations will have discs attached or do you think the bar has been set and all models will be disc less, with the option to attach a disc drive separately?
I would say that going forward, all playstations will be digital with the option of a disc drive. Then, eventually, they will faze out the disc drive, maybe on the PS7 or PS8.
Yeah it’s a concern but so long as there is the option of attaching a disc drive I’m okay with it. Selling it without the disc drive is obviously cheaper to sell, so it makes sense.
Yeah it seems to be heading this way, so long as there is an option to play physical discs I don’t care if it’s attached or not but if they end up moving 100% all digital with no physical then it will cause uproar, I think 🤔
Yeah not good to hear if that's the case. Although, given how many people still buy physical games (we still have vinyls & CDs), i thin kthere will always be physical, its just that they wont make as many, they will just have smaller batches of physical copies.
It’s because of RDNA 3 duplication system!!! It can double the raw tflops performance, so it can get a boost to 33.4!!! And this tflops are more powerful than the past PS5 and Xbox Series X arquitecture!!! We are not comparing the same!!! So, it is considerably more powerful than!!!
As I understand it, RDNA 3 has dual issue instructions. Theoretically, it can run two instructions simultaneously, but in reality the compiler rarely finds an opportunity where it can do it. It's supposed to be more useful in machine learning, such as PSSR. But whether the PS5 Pro can do dual issue is unconfirmed. Sony said the Pro has a 45% increase in rendering. That's the number you should keep in mind. A 65% increase in tflops resulting in a 45% increase in rendering is reasonable. Achieving that same 45% increase with 33.5 tflops would have been absurdly inefficient.
Oh yes absolutely its more powerful, no question, its a beast of a machine, if the pro can deliver so much just imagine what the PS6 will be capable of.
They have plenty of stock to go around thanks no supply chain & component shortages. As stock sells out in retailers, Sony reallocates stock - great job Sony.
Spider-Man looks good.
Yeah looks stunning, all those reflections
Images look fairly decent considering compression on the platform, can't wait
Yeah just waiting now till the 7th

@@GLPGamer1 I fear you are correct. Sad to think the PS6 might be my last console.

How does the teraflops work? Wasn't the pro meant to have over 30TF?
It’s only a mid gen refresh - not sure where the 30+ tf leaks came from

It's a very capable machine the console will deliver some stunning games over the coming 3 or 4 years.
Is the toggle the PS5 Pro boost?
Not sure, not very clear - just quality/visual improvement for older games mainly PS4
Thanks for sharing bud
No problem 👍
If you live in the UK I heard the PS5 Pro is available for purchase now

Pretty decent specs I think overall
Yeah i think so considering it’s a mid gen refresh
save my monies for PS6
Fair play, 2028 probably, maybe 2029.
These are not leaks people literally have their hands on the console and are posting official papers that come with the console
Thats true, but they are leaks if they are not out in your region/country.
