As a PC owner nothing is pitiful to me than PC dudes bashing the PS5 Pro, #1 we do not use disk drives in most PC these days to play games. #2 I hate how much they are trying to convince gamers a $700 PC is a better gaming device than the Pro. #3 HOW ARE PC GAMERS complaining bout incremental improvements when they have to do that very thing every 2 to 3 years to get the most from their RIG!
Great honest comment, i own a really powerful PC yet i chose to play on PlayStation 5, now the Pro, just through personal choice. I like the gaming library i've built up over the years and i genuinely enjoy playing on the console. I would never "tell" someone they shouldn't game on Xbox, or Switch, or PC. Play where you want/enjoy. I dont get the PC hatred, lots of PC gamers coming out with serious nonsense regarding building a £700 PC equivalent to PlayStation, its not possible, and even if it was possible, console gamers dont care, its why we game on console. Great comment, thanks.
It’s been such a long time since we had one, fingers crossed it is, we don’t know what many of the studios are working on so it’s a great time to get everyone excited for 2025 and 2026 and beyond
@BGUKKY Totally agree would be great to see what new games are coming next year, I've also seen quite a lot of ps5 pro players saying that even though black ops 6 says pro enhanced the update patch still hasn't arrived?
No apparently there are a few games that are performing okay on the Pro, however they dont seem to have had a patch released for them even though the patch has been confirmed, black ops is one of them, i think SIlent HIll 2 and GT 7 were the other 2 games. They'll be out soon so i'm just holding fire on any game that is not optimised until the patch comes out, but its good to know that games are getting their PS5 Pro boost without the patch.
Xbox hardware sales have fallen off the cliff. We really need a roadmap for 2025 and 2026 of what games are being developed by PlayStation, I don’t really want to see games that are 3 yrs and beyond, no point. Great up date mate thanks
I wish it is a Sony Showcase, but it if think logically, its very likely to be State of play with probably some gameplay of Ghost of Yotei and some smaller games, it will close probably with a Wolverine trailer. I mean that would still be pretty awesome. May 2025, is also another date rumoured to be the next big playstation showcase, its historically when they have done their own showcases in the past so lets see what happens in December.
@@BGUKKY Make a video on Linus latest video of what what gaming pc you need to compete against a ps5 pro. Their prices are on the cheap as they use a $350 7800xt but those go for $475 on their link. The gaming pc cant compete for that price so sony actually price it correctly.
I've seen some of the videos, some are fair and some are really silly, the Pro is priced accordingly, people forget Sony is a multi-billion dollar tech/consumer electronics company. They made a huge mistake with the PS3 pricing and got it wrong, they are not about to make the same mistake twice, besides, this is a midgen console not aimed at the masses, so they can afford to price it and make profit on the console from day one, where as usually consoles are sold at a loss initially before profit is made usually year 3 or 4 when the slim/refresh models are made. The price is fine, you get what you pay for i feel with the pro.
Thank you, that's what i'm talking about - i dont understand all the nonsense thrown at PSN when to play any other game on PC you literally have to create an account and sign into the publisher/developer or storefront.
Sony is out of the business of “showing” unless it’s 6-8 months from release…showcases are pointless and only give talentless content creators a way to fake making content with rumors, lies and”inside information“ I’m hoping they double down on that tactic. How did MS best showcase ever workout for them? Absolutely nothing has come from it yet, Avowed and Stalker 2 were supposed to have released a while ago atp, so no keep the State of Play the way it is and enjoy the surprises… Like AstroBot did
Haven't played a Jack and Daxter game in years - reminds me of my PS2 (i think) days. It would be great if they could give it the Ratchet & Clank or Asto Bot treatment on Jack & Daxter
At this point im not getting my hopes up with Sony anymore. They've made it pretty clear that they operate totally different than what they were once known, and have let us down over and over on hopes of a showcase. The last time i believe they did a little date thing like this it ended up being a music video or collab with a kpop band. With Sony wanting to wait to announce games closer to launch and Ghosts 2 getting shown recently, i just dont see them turning around a little over a month later with a full blown showcase, especially with TGA the following week. Id welcome a nice surprise, but I'm expecting nothing or minimal from them, sadly.
Yeah that's true, Jeff Grubb who is a known insider has heard he hasn't heard about any kind of Showcase or State of Play, lets see what we get on December 3rd.
I repeat myself again I have the theory that now than ever the Xbox games are near to be launched in playstation Sony is being cautious Because I admit it I don't like Xbox because of the treatment that gives to developers IPS and users But i have to admit that IPS like Halo gears fable are very important culturally as important as playstation IPS With this in consideration The next competition will not be because of consoles but games And Sony now have confirmation from the declarations of philnoccio Spencer himself that the no red line of project latitude is real and Microsoft studios is going full slate in porting games to playstation With this playstation studios has to be at the best They will not reveal half cooked games They can't afford another flop because hulst and totoki are not playing A flop could cost them their job
Yeah its important that the games PlayStation release are top tier, fully complete and meet expectations - which 99% of their single player games do, the risk is in the areas that they do not specialise in (multiplayer and live service). And now that Microsoft/Xbox have confirmed there are no red lines, expect all Xbox games to go to PlayStation moving forward - which is good in once sense as the removes the pressure on PlayStation to quickly release games, they can carry on taking their time developing their games whilst knowing that Xbox games and 3rd party games will be available on PlayStation, and then when they are ready, they can release their first party games.
Xbox isn't Xbox in the way they've been in the past. MS is in process of transitioning into publishing games and while they may still have a console, thier focus is on publishing games across a wide range of hardware. I do agree that MS needs better games but i think that MS has moved beyond exclusives or looking to bring new people to thier console platform. MS genuinely wants people to play anywhere even if that means not on an xbox
I think they will always have casuals - no loyalty there. Casuals are attracted to no fuss gaming and Xbox has lots of that within gamepass, and also if you have a large family/lots of gamers in one house hold a gamepass sub or ps plus sub makes sense, especially if you have lots of kids in the house, saves constantly buying new games for them, those are the areas where gamepass/Xbox will gain or retain its services. But in terms of exclusive content, killer games, they have Zero. They used to, when Halo and Gears were good years ago, and when Fable was good. But those days are long gone.
That is so true, the Microsoft strategy is simple, if you have a digital device, you should be able to play Microsoft games. Thats their end game, and it started 20 years ago. Their end goal is for gamers to play their games, whether that is buying one game from their Microsoft store or subbing to a gaming service, their goal is to get you into their ecosystem. The console is not part of that strategy. At the moment, they will keep making hardware, maybe for 1 or 2 console generations. Once they have enough casual gamers subbing to gamepass they will stop the hardware manufacturing.

Thank you for speaking the truth. The constant bashing of peoples preferred way to game is getting tiresome.

It really is becoming tiresome & boring.
Really hope it's a showcase we've been waiting a long time for a decent showcase

Bump pc
@BGUKKY it could be something nobody realise and not just a showcase could be just the biggest Game of 2025 GTA6

I hope we get to see that roadmap, i dont expect to see games that are years away but if we get a glimpse into 2025 and 2026 i'd take that.
December 3rd…. What a magical date.
Pencil that baby into the calendar - hope its a decent event, whatever it maybe..
Really enjoy your updates, thanks 👍🏼
Thanks bud, glad you like them!
Imigine dying just before GTA6 comes out ! Thats my biggest fear 😂😂😂
Coming back as a ghost to GTA6 on my Pro 😁
Same ! I also think about this sometimes 😢
We can always come back as ghosts
We have to have a showcase man it’s been so long since we had one and what a way to start for the 2 CEOs
Yeah it gives them a chance to draw a line in the sand and kind of say, we're here now, our rein starts here.
So many 1st party games I want to see on PlayStation
I know, if only Sony showed us a handful of some of the games they are working on that are coming over the next couple of years.
Love the opening dude, brings back of some really amazing Sony showcases, something we desperately need
No, we desperately don't need showcases. Society is so impatient. Smh
Each to their own, hope we get an event
Man i hope its something like hotshots golf, motorstorm, little big planet, flip imagine a remaster on any of those and there are so many more!
Motorstorm was a great game - PS3 era i think, love that game.
@@BGUKKY Yea man! That game and skate 3. Lovely times. What u reckon it will be? if anything.

I have a pc. You have to sign in to steam, battlenet, xbox , Rockstar, or ubisoft and so on. Its required
Thank you, that's what i'm talking about - i dont understand all the nonsense thrown at PSN when to play any other game on PC you literally have to create an account and sign into the publisher/developer or storefront.
I hope this date is a showcase rather than a state of play. And we all know why Stellar Blade getting a photo mode is good 😜👍

They don't do showcases anymore, they're all state of Play but I wouldn't worry too much, I think 2025 is about to feed you
We all know why Stellar Blade needs a photo mode lol
I would great appreciate a new or remake of Jak and Daxter come on let's goooo
Haven't played a Jack and Daxter game in years - reminds me of my PS2 (i think) days. It would be great if they could give it the Ratchet & Clank or Asto Bot treatment on Jack & Daxter

Pc gamers just cry and cry and cry again they complain about PlayStation they complain about Xbox even though they have pcs
Yeah i'm seeing a lot of PC gamers (toxic ones) raging about the PS5 Pro and the PSN.
They’re just trying to justify their outrageously expensive PC parts with minuscule improvements
Exactly

I think xbox will grow, maybe even gain lots of casuals. Who knows, who cares. Theyll grow the biggest when they have better exclusives probly
Nah Microsoft had chances and failed each time, they will end up fully 3rd party with a handheld with gamepass
Xbox isn't Xbox in the way they've been in the past.
