Moroccan darija is one of my favourite Arabic dialects. I am Amazigh from Algeria and yes, she was right, history considers Amazigh people as the natives of North Africa and their language is called Tamazight and spoken, beside Arabic, in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and other countries. It's an old beautiful language which has a special alphabet called Tifenagh, of 37 letters.
If you ask me, do I need to learn Tamazight? I will say: No, you don't really need to! Since most of Amazigh people speak other languages such as Arabic, french, english...
However, I advice you to learn my language, because if you speak Tamazight, you will be able to pronounce some difficult letters (sounds) that exist in different languages. Also it will make you discover the colourful culture of Amazigh people. And finally, learning Tamazight will make Amazigh people love you and respect you.

Wait, so I am confused. What is the difference between "Berbère" and "Amazigh" ?
And what about "Kabyl" ? Another people also ?? How many people live in the same place?

    Good video
    Enjoyed learning
I am in Marrakesh, made some great friends in Tangier which I am returning to for a week before I travel back to friends.
I love these travels since everyone in the US is in a panic but everyone is so nice.
To amyone going to Tangier from Tarifa, know that Tarifa is amazing and Tangier has a million view if you can find it. Can't post pictures here.
Marrakesh is very relaxed. Ladies driving city buses. So many wearing things that would be expected of American women.
Drop your guard and visit Morocco.
It is a lot like Mexico with regional dialects. But in Mexico if you are not local you are an outsider, they won't like you even if you are Mexican. But south Texas is the same way. Tangier had more of a NYC feel and Marrakesh felt to me like Newark or Philadelphia. They are far from like Egypt, which I had no problem. They thought I was from Susan. But my 49 other friends could not say the same. But they would have blended in Tangier since they were of Mexican descent.
    That's my thoughts.

@@yassintriggerdellarobia u r right. It's not abt the lang or a dialect itself, m talkin abt a mentality that drove some to dirty slang, which i believe is a sterile thinking, u might agree, or maybe not. But u can't find nobles wise-ppl use bad n poor synonyms, they try hard to to make their synonyms proper, and this is the nobelty for me.
