They only showed half the map of Morocco, or just the upper part, and that really gets on my nerves. There are Moroccans in the Sahara, and we have our own culture. These types of videos are great because they help introduce certain concepts to the masses and break stereotypes. Still, I'm surprised by how little effort most people will make later on to actually learn more about the biggest continent of the world (and the motherland of our human species...).

Yet in out History we learn (in school) that Portuguese sailors really did go around the world! This is awesome, but what is most awesome is to be able to experience things like this from other countries :) Korea is so far away from Portugal yet we can find each other with the internet nowadays... The North African countrjes around the Mediterranean are probably the only ones I'm confident in naming, knowing rhe location and maybe 75% the flags. And I think it's sad that I don't know more confidently apart from Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa. I was so happy when is saw the tunisian flag cuz i never heard east asians talking about it, and i was kinda disappointed when they actually didn't even heard of it before. I think my country is so underrated even though it have so many things to offer :(
I am Algerian and so surprised by the level of ignorance in matter of Geography of Korean people.... As a developped country where education is highly regarded this is shocking....
We as citizens of third world countries know the flags and emplacement of many countries in the map even the least famous.... I even know about Belize and tajakistan !!

I hate to say it… but for Korea to be so educated and advanced they really showed where the importance of Africa is on their educational totem pole there. They knew the European countries but not Africa,the grand mother land… it’s sad how ignorant they choose to be when they’re so technologically advanced.

I live in Africa and I teach English to adult students, usually educated professionals, from around the world. Ignorance and negative perceptions about Africa are depressingly universal.

I enjoy this videos a lot because it just goes to show there is so much diversity in countries around the world! I'm Portuguese from Portugal - a tiny country in the grand scale of things. Yet in out History we learn (in school) that Portuguese sailors really did go around the world! This is awesome, but what is most awesome is to be able to experience things like this from other countries :) Korea is so far away from Portugal yet we can find each other with the internet nowadays... Lovely stuff :)

Not all North Africans are pale skin so that doesn’t completely explain it. I went to Morocco and at least in the part I was in most people were about my complexion. I’m black. I’m an American of mostly Subsaharan African descent. Plus there are white people from places like South Africa and Zimbabwe

The North African countrjes around the Mediterranean are probably the only ones I'm confident in naming, knowing rhe location and maybe 75% the flags. And I think it's sad that I don't know more confidently apart from Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa. On the other hand I'm German and after Yougoslavia was split up and also Baltic ones apoeared from Russia, I'm not even confident in Europe anymore.

Everytime this channel does a "Meet a beautiful African girl" video it's never Africans who are black. It's always North Africans. I have nothing against my North African people and this is nothing towards them, the criticism is aimed solely towards the channel.
