I was running puny ponys setup with an H pipe with cats instead of an off road x), and the delta 40 FM, now since rebuilding the LTs because they disintegrated on me(rust belt) I'm running the Magna Flow Street Series cat back from AM and it sounds like ass. So I bought two Borla s-types from amazon! So I'll be installing those Saturday. should have comparison vids up.
Looking at how close that one turbo is to the alternator, you should put back on the stock alternator bracket and convert it to the Volvo electric power steering so you can make space for your turbos. Maybe aim them a little lower for clearance.
I can't. Turbo fitment only accepts that freestar accessory combo together. Volvo pump also won't run a rack and hydro brake booster together anywhere near as well as a PS pump.
yo paradox I just watched a video on a Volvo Electric powersteering pump. You can run remote powersteering with this setup. Or and this is what im thinking for my car is deleting the powersteering all together and installing a electric motorized steering shaft from a prius or cobolt that could free up some room for ya!
Thanks for the fabrication advise! I have heard mixed reviews on volvo powersteering pump and there is several variables here. First is mixed reviews on the strength of the volvo s60 electric pump from current users allegedly can hardly handle powering our steering rack system in critical driving like drifting. Also Hydrobooster is run off power steering pressure. The pump was originally considered for this build but is insufficient for my needs unless I ran an electric booster to each to obtain the goal I already hold.
Freestar accessories is an intimidating surgery but the whole process is acually easy, only takes a few hours and cost 150$. Freestar accessories although deletes AC, also deletes 2 pulleys off the driveline in residual loss of engine power that was more noticable than an aluminum driveshaft. I have also found a short belt that works 100% perfect for this setup. I am a fan of the whole 2008 freestar accessories as the alternator is 6g, powersteering pump does not whine at all and will give excellent pressure to both units in the powersteering system using custom PTFE AN lines and fittings.
Hey man, I’m trying to switch my 1996 3.8l V6 mustang manifold to a free star intake but in order to do that I would need to change the cylinder heads and lower intake, would it still be possible to do the change ? If so can you do a video walking through the process ? Preciate it man 💪🏼
Its basically just a split port swap. Literally grab a junkyard freestar entire motor for 300 with accessories and swap from the heads up over its easiest when you do everything together and not just one peice like only the intake manifold on a all mustang oem engine

Are you using headers from the eBay kit?
Yes. Using the whole ebay turbo kit it all fits with freestar accessories and GT hydrobooster
