I'm a h.s. librarian. I do a lot of audio thru Libby .. I also feel like there's never enough hours in the day to do all the things I want to do. Knitting, reading, sitting outside, etc. Those darn house chores Get in the way! I was the one that won last year's Advent and I just want to say thank you so much. I will be sharing it with one of my children who crochets and a friend who also knits. We will all be enjoying it and making all the cool stuff. You have inspired me to make the emotional support chicken. I've been putting it off but now I feel I have to do it after seeing your wonderful colors.
I love knitting and catching up with you both! Loudermilk is one of my favorites, yes sometimes inappropriate but also very real life. I’m reading Allison Weir’s Six Tudor Queens series and loving them. Sitting outside reading, knitting on socks and enjoying our short Massachusetts summer!
Oh you ladies are great! I smile from the time you start to the finish. And you made 2:08 me chuckle out loud when you said “ I told the girls they were in charge!” I miss those times when our grandkids were young- but every age makes different memories.
Hi Ladies: What an awesome podcast to start the morning of the World wide Knit in Public Day! I enjoyed the podcast, the way you ladies talked to one another other, so in touch with your feelings, how you’re raising your girls, what a wonderful in tact family! Wish more families would be like yours - showing respect, empathy, and love so organically! Thanks for sharing! Have an awesome and amazing weekend and Father’s Day! Happy knitting! ❤❤l
Love the little sweaters. Both so cute. If you want to read something good try “The Women” by Kristin Hannah. It is wonderful and everyone who has read it loved it. Hard to put down. Kids are very creative when they are removed from the TV, video games and tablets.
I've finished both Just for the Summer, and Never Fall for your Fiance - enjoyed both very much. Thanks for the recommendation. As to kid's boredom - my grandaughter used to say it all the time - drove me crazy - but I decided she just couldn't decide what she wanted to do - it really helped when I taught her how to make a list of things she can "do" when she says she is bored. She can read now so that really helps with boredom.
I have made 8 emotional support chickens. Gave them to my friends and some of their kids. One will even be headed to college. I’ve made them in all weights of yarn from bulky to fingering. The sizes and adorableness was worth it.
One day I was dropping my youngest daughter off at school and told her to have a good day. Her reply was “Have a good day dyeing”. I can imagine the people who heard that and don’t know I dye yarn were probably thinking “what a brat! I can’t believe she said that to her mom” 😂
Good Morning ladies, so glad to hear that the crooked farms house is coming along so well. May I ask what pattern did you use for the washcloths for the babies? They look bigger than the ones I have been making. How many stitches before you started your decrease? Thanks as always for your wonderful stories.
Love the Chickens! haven't made one yet. precious! The summer is flying, I always look forward to the Halloween colors, and always tend to plan way ahead!
❤ love Netflix. Binge watching Eric right now with Benedict Cumberbatch. Amazing acting but story line is tough about missing son but he does come home. I want to watch loudermilk next. Thank you for the recommendations. Also Bridgerton as well. Can't Wait.
You just warmed my heart. We called my paternal grandpa Grampy and I have never in all my years heard anyone else use that term!
I just love all the knitting and mom talk. I can just relate to it all. You both are lovely! All the best, Kimberly

Sue, your home is lovely. Is your rug from Ruggable? I am considering one of those. So pretty.
I look forward to your Podcast ❤
Hello Ladies from Swansea, Illinois.
That’s it…I’m off to find the pattern for the emotional support chicken (wilma, aka pippi)
