Your mother/daughter chats soothe my soul. I lost my knitting momma years ago so your blogs fill a spot in my heart! 😢❤ content and finishes take second place for me. Plus knitting takes time for all of us.
Winnie being on the cusp is me. I get my hair cut every 3 months. First it's I hate it, it's too short! Then 2 weeks before I'm scheduled at the salon it's absolutely perfect, I'm loving my hair. The day of my appointment, oh thank God! I can't stand my hair, it's a disgusting mop!
I love your weekly chats. It so does feel I am knitting with friends. I am in a stage of life that I am still working (I care for 2 adults with special needs in my home) so I dont get a lot of finishes done in my knitting, spinning, cross stitch or card making but I do what I can. I think that is normal. Sometimes I want to knit but something else needs attention like my clients or a nap or a walk. It is sooo nice to hear for you both.
Love the chatting. I'm a processor when knitting that sometimes I have to find a whole new project to lose myself in sometimes. I worked at a Hallmark in the Collectibles section, and those older ladies were the best! All the best, gals! - Kimberly
Love tuning in weekly for your chatting. You keep it real ! We all lead busy lives and sprinkle our crafts throughout the week. Your conversations with each other bring back so many memories of my Mom.
I love the weekly podcasts regardless of how much knitting. It is also a highlight for me when the girls pop in - love seeing those kiddos so for me it's fun when they interrupt.
Love these chatty episodes so much ! It’s a real treat to knit along with you. The book talk is wonderful - so many great recommendations. Last but not least - Sue - with your move your creativity has just exploded. I love the new colors and themes you are exploring. Thank you both so much. 😊
Thank you, thank you, thank you for becoming a part of my weekly routine! I appreciate all the work, time and honesty you both put into these podcasts.
I so appreciate the tactful and real way you both touch on some very heavy topics with lightness and respect. Whether it's books or shows with intense story lines or things in your lives, your approach is just so...heartwarming (is that the word? Idk, probably says more about me than you 😂) . Love the knitting and yarn and cross stitch in between. Feels like I'm having coffee with my friends 🧡 thank you. Oh, and ad nauseum.
Love you gals! Chelsea’s facial expression when Sue said “cable-along” made me laugh so much! I sat here at my desk listening to the podcast in between work conference calls, with my 2020 LFA Advent granny square blanket over my legs for warmth. I finished the blanket last year and no, the ends are not woven in yet! 😂 thanks for keeping my heart and legs warm this morning!
aw thank you! shipping costs depends on a lot of different factors. I would go in build a cart and go through the checkout process to see what's offered! 🫶
Can I give some grooming advice from one anxious dog mom to another? We finally found a great groomer and she had us take her for a nice long walk right beforehand to really drain some energy. A small drop of lavender oil will often help calm them also. If you blow dry her, put a headband around her ears to decrease the sound. If she’s super skittish, do the tiniest bit every day. One leg today, the next tomorrow, etc. we were fired from 2 groomers and told we’d need to do anesthesia. Nope!! Her main issue was being tied down. Really upped her anxiety so she has no leash during grooming and does beautifully!!
Have you asked any groomers and the vets if they do puppy visits or social visits? My vet will schedule appointments where the dog comes in and the vet techs play with them. So the dog isn’t so anxious when they go the next time. My groomer did the same. We went every two weeks for awhile. Cut the paws or the face, but plenty of time for loving the pup up and getting used to going

Love watching you both! One time while crocheting , I was almost finished a granny square blanket when my grown daughter teasingly took it to use while watching tv. I told her it wasn’t finished, the ends weren’t woven in and she said she didn’t care. That was years ago and it’s a joke now using “ the unfinished “ blanket which still isn’t finished. 😂💕🧶
