I'm a huge fan of Spincushions crochet approach. I learnt from her directly at a workshop and she is the best. Her tutorial videos are also very helpful. I've made a blanket from her Granny Square Academy which is 12 patterns I think, and it is fab and easy, and I am very new to crochet. Hard recommend along with you Sue.
I have a lemonwood and now I can’t be without it! Pool knitting, summer outdoor knitting, car knitting! Also to just keep from my ball rolling onto the ground.
Hi Sue, Inga from the Knitting Traditions podcast just had a baby girl and she has knit a few cute outfits. On her last episode she show the Lace Body Dress by Knitting for Olive. Very cute. Lisa Chemery also has some very cute baby girl knits - dresses and sweaters. Have fun! Love the socks.
Another excellent podcast! I love hearing all the updates... gardening, baking, knitting, etc... it truly feels like knitting with friends. I've been in such a gift knitting mood, too! I actually started my Christmas present making this weekend 🙂 Also, you could always knit a cotton romper for the summer baby!
Sue, you're not alone. I also can't quite get into the Court of Thorns and Roses hype or Bridgerton. They seem like things I should like...but they just fall flat for me, too...and that's ok! There are so many other things we already do love and will fall in love with, so everything in its time. ❤
Love your chatty podcasts! Regarding the crochet charts, I follow the written pattern when crocheting but refer to the chart on the more complicated designs when I have to check my work -- you can look at the chart and look at your work in hand and compare them easily. Can't wait to see more of your beautiful squares 😍
Love the hair Chels! The scream I scrumpt at the look you two shared at Dave's sneeze hahahaha - why are men so loud with their sneezing?! Everytime Will does I'm like 👁👄👁 r u fine....?
OMG😮😮!! Enabler alert! I will most definitely do a crochet along with that Granny Square book. Love it! Not that I don't already have a thousand other wips...... Love watching you guys.
Hi Chelsea and Sue. Love the episode today. So much fun. Chelsea, the first pair of socks you showed. Did you say you did a drop heel? Love your hair. Can't wait to see the studio.
Chelsea thank you for telling us we can listen to the Bridgerton books for free of audible. I had no idea and I’ve been on hold for them. Went and added them to my library.
Hello ladies. Thank you for taking the time to record for us. It’s always so wonderful to watch you. You have probably said that before, so I apologize for asking you this but what kind of dpns needles do you use? Thank you.
Ladies, I so want to knit socks. But it’s not going too well. I ordered Golden Girls and love it! I also ordered ChiaoGoo 9 inch circulars. But it’s a slog so far. I’m persevering though. Fingers crossed. Love Summer Lee videos. Is anyone else struggling to knit socks?
Have you tried magic loop? I love the satisfaction of pulling the needle/cord through and starting the next row. I always think, yes, one more row done, on to the next!
Please don't second guess that precious bear! The fabric it's making is perfect for the project!!! She will absolutely love it.

Thanks ladies….Can so relate to you as mother and daughter 🤗
I really liked Loudermilk. You guys are so funny; I think you're funnier in Vermont lol. My daughter and I have that psychic thing going on, too.

I need your Vermont water! Southington water is killing my hair!
Hello Ladies from Swansea, Illinois. I am finally using my St. Jude’s yarn to knit a pair of socks. I wish that you would do it again!

I use double points love them. Just try different ones to find what you love to use!!
@@lorim3969 I can’t get started on magic loop. I was thinking maybe start on the 9 inch circulars then switch to magic loop. I’m very discouraged.
@@valeriesuttonpayne7413 yes, definitely try the 9 in circs and maybe go to your local yarn shop to get some help if you need it. Keep trying! 😀
Love the podcast! Would like to know what the drop down heel pattern is. Thanks
Crochet along? I’ll join. I’m making 4 Jethro jackets for 4 granddaughters. Squares are fast and easy to take along. What’s a few more?
What crochet hooks are you using?
