Hi! I have 9 WIPS, 2 are in progress and 7 are hibernating. I will be circling back to 1 of them after these 2 in progress. I'm working on the Audrey Sweater by Knitty McPurly. I making it to wear at the retreat in January.
I have 9 WIPs plus one I’m going to frog soon. This is NOT normal for me! I prefer 2 or 3 WIPs. I hope you get all the answers you need and feel better soon. I haven’t shared this much but I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July and am currently going through chemo. I should feel good in the spring so I hope you do too and maybe we can have that meet up I didn’t get to go to last year. Would love to meet you! Love all your sweaters! I can only do one at a time. I’m about 3/4 done with the Champagne Cardigan by PetiteKnit. I alternate that with several smaller projects.
Thanks for the info about gut health. I, too, struggle with that issue and also am lactose intolerant. I make a 24 hour yogurt in my Instant Pot, that supposedly makes it almost lactose free. I also take Culturelle for Abdominal Support and Comfort daily which has helped. I will be watching the videos as you suggest. I have 2 active WIPs and 2 that are in hibernation. I get overwhelmed if I have many more than that. Your newest sweater is lovely. Thanks for taking he time to podcast as I so enjoy watching.
Interesting. What do you consider to be the difference between a WIP and a UFO? Is that the same as a hibernating project? It went into timeout, and you haven't gotten around to working on it for a long time?
I have 4 WIPs; 3 of them are socks. I don’t really have anything “hibernating” right now, but I have two frogged projects patiently waiting for me to start over. I usually have one main project that I’m working on, plus a small portable project to take in the car and an additional mindless project if my main project requires a lot of focus.
This is my first time finding you. I am so glad. I have four whips one is in hibernation. I’m getting ready to cast on one more vest. I know Devan from Knitty Mcpurly and I just got my Advent from her today. I’m excited so you’re my other person that I know that knows Devan also I wish that I could go to the retreat, but I’m not able to do that this year. Where do you live? Do you live close to her? I’m excited that you know her also. Yay. I really like your whips that you’re doing, they are very nice and I love the sweater you’re wearing
So, I have 15 WIPs. Some of them are kind of hibernating. But, I also have about 4 other categories of items I make for donation that I really don’t count as WIPs, but I actively work on all the time. Hats, Scarves, Knitted Knockers, Chemo Caps, etc. Then there’s the big project I just started that I won’t confess to until and unless I succeed to meet my own goal. Glad you’re feeling a little better at least some oof the time.
I have 6 WIPS total with 3 that are hibernating. I am in the process of a WIP down until the end of the year :) My Hansel Hap will not be pulled out again until after the first of the year. I started it over 2 1/2 years ago LOL!!
Thanks so much for the gift. I love the bag and look forward to receiving it. ❤

Sorry to hear this, Eileen. I hope your treatment is going well. 💓
Thank you, Eileen. I appreciate you sharing your health status. Some days must be really tough. We need to make this meet up happen!
@@pandemicknitter yes for sure, let's check in in the spring and see if we can make it happen!
@@selfishknitter Thank you. I'm doing well.

Thanks for the gut health advice. I'll look into those things.
I have 6 wips. 2 cardigans, 1 sweater, 2 pair of socks and 1 scarf. Also have a few ufos….
Lovely bag! 🤗

@ Yes! But, I also think that wips are projects that I like working at, the ufos I for some reason don’t enjoy.
Praying for a specific diagnosis so it can be treated. Gorgeous projects.
Thanks, Lucile!

So disciplined!
@@pandemicknitter 😆 I would not say that. I may have few WIPs, but I have a long queue.

Welcome, Linda! I live in the Chicago suburbs. I met Devin through her TH-cam channel. Maybe we can meet in person someday too.

You have less than me? Congratulations! I need to get to work.

I have plans to do a WIP down, but I don't seem to have the discipline to stick with my plans.
I would love to try your yogurt. I make homemade yogurt in the instant pot, so yeah you’re yogurt sounds interesting
It's good to meet a fellow yogurt maker. I've been on my own with this so far.
For your health you should research animal based only food to help get your gut biome back in shape.
Dr. Berg talks about that, but it scares me to go so extreme. I've thought about investigating that avenue. Thanks for the advice!
I have 7 wips.
That's a good number. Not too many.
