I got a one a month ago from a collector in Australia for 250 pounds. He bought it new earlier this year and wore it occasionally in rotation so it's virtually perfect. I like it very much.

I have this watch and the sumo PADI, I love these watches but IMO the bracelets let them down so changed the bracelets to strapcodes and now I think they look perfect

Great review 👏, I love my Sumo, I like the crown placement, it almost makes you forget it's there at all, good analogy of the date windows, I think seiko have hit a home run here with this Dail, the Seiko logo, prospex logo and automatic font all match up well with the lumibrite in the indices, it let's the high polished hand set pop, and doesn't overpower that Cracking green daily, which by the way is so mesmerising, going very dark in the shade ,then bursting to light in full sunlight, 👍 it wears so comfortable, I have the manta King Turtle, which can feel a tad top heavy, but the Sumo is just a beautifully thought out case design, it doesn't overpower your wrist, just sits nicely, love the bezel, a one off design, future classic, 😀 price will go up if they discontinue this beauty 😀
Subscribed! I'm into watches and this watch should arrive tomorrow! I will build a small collection and then move on to some other hobby but dang, Seikos are so enjoyable. I have 3 Citizen Eco drives and they just aren't exciting. I still keep 1 in my rotation and love that it is solar so I don't have to pay it much attention like I do my Seikos. It definitely has its place!!

2:38 one reason I bought SPB425 was because of crown at 4 o'clock. This has further brought my interest to the seiko sumo series.

I'm a fan of seiko and a diver and I've used this watch in anger, the Luminosity is fantastic and so is the fit, although the bracelet extender isn't the best. I love your OCD on the date window though 🤣

I ended up with the seiko prospex srpe271 diver and can't fault it 👌there's some decent seikos out there

Yes it's a good looking piece, BUT, a lot of people are complaining about the 6r35 movement, and it's lack of accuracy, and it's too big and heavy. Here in Australia they've really come down in price, maybe because they're not selling.
when will be Longines La grand Classique Automatic?
there is no lumi marker on 3 oclock position. Mine has it. is it because of it is not 70 hour reserved one ? is it 01b0 ? it writes on 6 position. is it possible that it is fake ?
There are many fake seikos out there. Check out if it says that it has a NH movement underneath the 6o’clock point. If it does say that it has a NH movement it is 100% a fake

I have a King Turtle and the case format is amazing.
The comfort it gives you when wearing it is fantastic as well. I would recommend it.
I have this green sumo and the king turtle. Just get BOTH. You will love them for different reasons

I have the King Turtle 🐢 as well as the Sumo Hulk, The Turtle is just no wear near the comfort level I feel when wearing my Sumo, don't get me wrong I love my Turtle, and I have the Samurai, great white, 🦈 all amazing pieces for the money, 😉
