  • This is a video that I never thought we would need to create, but it seems that we do after reading a lot of comments on our Kingdom Hearts videos from people that are somehow falling hook-line-and-sinker for the Master of Masters' ploy.
    Allow us to spell it out for all the non-believers, and see if we can't change your mind on this.

    In Union X, Luxu revealed who the traitor was to Ava, & she got upset and attacked Luxu because she didn’t believe him.
    My theory is Luxu told her it was the MoM because she wouldn’t attack someone if it wasn’t.

      Isnt the part of the *lost page* Gula says that the one who bears the *sigil* is the traitor and guess who has the *sigil* is? Look at Luxu and MoM coat Zipper. There was an *X* The recusant's Sigil. The Title itself is Kingdom Hearts *X* Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts Union *X* Thats the biggest hint. Chi and recusant sigil is *X* shape

    I think all of the Master of Masters' manipulations were to ensure that the future transpires in a way that sets Xehanort on his Dark Seeker path. The Master knew through his eye that Xehanort would eventually succeed in accessing the ultimate power of Kingdom Hearts, which is what the Master craves above all (hence why he was so adamant that keyblades weren't for protecting it). As soon as Xehanort recreates the X-Blade (the letter X is written on the box), the Master's heart will emerge from the box and seize Kingdom Hearts out from under Xehanort, who was his pawn the whole time.

      that literally makes no sense. if he wanted kingdom hearts then all he needs to do is to just summon it. there would be no need to manipulate anyone. He could have just used his apprentices to assist him, but that's not the case since he wanted the light to survive after the war. Also his heart can't be inside the box because he will not appear in kh3. the fate of the Master is a mystery.

    • @DjSamvy
      @DjSamvy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Which is why he knows what happens in the future. It makes no sense that the eye could transmit the info into the past, someone has to deliver the eye back and that's most likely just himself. Also org coats. I think Luxu, all Xehanorts and MoM are the same person in the end. Because, well, org coats.

    • @mookiedt
      @mookiedt 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That literally makes no sense to say those 2 are the same peson, that's a paradox. He has to reduce himself to just a heart to time travel. Which he doesn't.
      Samvyx, it does make sense because his eye is a link that is giving him foresight. This is most likely why he disappeared, a part of him exists in the future while he's still in the present.

  • @DeusGamez
    @DeusGamez 6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    the master is a time traveler, but not just any time traveler no, he is Luxu himself. remember everything he tells to Luxu, "the fact that it exists is proof of your success! passed down that handsome keyblade! and fulfilled your role !" (this is the revelation that book of prophecy is the proof that Luxu already did what the master has told him to do in the "future") but how exactly could the master have predicted this or even seen it? even more he warns Luxu that he shouldn't heed the book of prophecy as he can't have him going around "creating temporal paradox's" so he instead instructs Luxu to disappear with the No Name, and the mysterious box marked as "x Super" stating that the eye in the keyblade is in fact his own eye which allows him to see the future. and the whole reason the master disappears after Luxu does this is because the master has fulfilled "His role" which was pass down that keyblade.. hmm interesting is that not what he just told Luxu to do? this means that the master who has seen the future and what it entails knew this would happen and further more he intended to pass on the book's knowledge to start the keyblade war because that is how the events unfolded in "his future" Luxu in the future becomes a keyblade master and he trains an apprentice or apprentices to also become keyblade masters hence making Luxu a "master of masters" he then proceeds to pass down his keyblade to a worthy successor but what if that successor wasn't worthy? what if the successor succumbed to darkness and actually betrayed Luxu? would this shocking turn of events not warrant him to take action to prevent a future catastrophe? maybe a second keyblade war from occurring? all signs point to this student being Xehanort, but being stubborn and believing there was another way to prevent this 2nd war from coming he split his heart from his body and sent his nobody to the past with the keyblade his eye would be embedded in thus allowing him to see all possible futures that would unfold. all the while keeping his "heart" locked up in the box "x Super" and as we know if the nobody and heartless of someone perishes then the heart will revive anew as a new vessel. hence xehanort's revival in dream drop distance after Xemnas and Ansem are defeated.

      @@michaelhowell2809 actually no if Luxu followed MoM's instructions to the letter by not opening the box, there would be no paradox to begin with. This isn't a paradox. It's a time loop like The Flash Season 3 with Savitar. Nice theory @Deus Games

    Luxu is the master of masters from the future which is why he's the only one not in a specific uniform or union, unlike the others and was told to watch the events transpire rather than changing them. Also, Luxu has the same Black Coat as MoM which is another point which shows, not only gives the impression he's the favoured of the six apprentices. This also connects to your induction of them being like a cult which has merit to it since most of them are wearing masks and none of them, except for Luxu are in the know and wearing the Master's Coat which lacks a mask. Ironically Braig also loses one eye which mirrors MoM's one eye residing in the key blade. This could also could be backed up when Luxu was given MoM's keyblade in Back Cover, MoM remarks that it is in fact his eye which Luxu promptly freaks out about this could mean two things: MoM was in fact missing an eye, or Luxu was having a laugh; At the same time it could just mean Xigbar is turning more into like his Master. In the epilogue, Eraqus starts a new game with seven dark pieces which mirrors the same number as Aced, Ava, Gula, Invi, Ira, The Master, and Luxu.

    I still believe it's equally possible he's good. You bring up a lot of good points for why his actions are inherently suspicious and basically cause the Keyblade War. But here are my reasons for keeping my reservations on completely wrighting him off as evil.
    1) your a little too dismissive of his positive charachter traits saying they contradict his carefree attitude about cataclysmic events. It can just as easily makes him a complex charachter rather than a contradictory one.
    2) the tone of his attitude and personality is extremely similar to Axel/Lea's and suspicious as Axel always seems to be, by now we know Namura likes making the Axel charachters good in the end.
    3) if the master was evil Luxu would basically have to be evil too. And while the master is suspicious acting Luxu isn't. It's clear he's just as good hearted as the others and when the master whispers a key part of his plan in his ears it shocks him but isn't enough to stop him from faithfully carrying it out.
    4) giving eastern culture and the philosophy of most light versus darkness Japanese games the Master saying they don't exist to protect the light should not be surprising. They probably exist to protect order or 'The balance. The Master of Masters carefree attitude about events that are fated to happen and not trying to fight them basically makes him a devout Toaist. He goes with the flow and trust in Wu Wei, letting nature take it's course. That basically makes him a wise righteous person in the east.
    5) all his actions taken together could mean he believed the Keyblade War was unavoidable, and the best one could do is ensure it played out in a specific way to ensure a remnant of Keyblade wielders would always exist and that one day Sora would have everything he needs to win against Xeahnort. Anything could be in the masters box, maybe something good, maybe something bad.

      RevolvingWorld : he was talking about the first Keyblade War when saying that. It's why he then specifically says they had to focus on preparing for what comes afterwards. The Dandilions, Eraquas, Sora and his gang. All that is post "darkness will win in the end" prophecy.

      But in the trailer for KH3, baby Xehanort told baby Erasqueeze, that "light will expire" and *"its already been written"* and Eraqus responds with "Maybe I can change this fate".
      They clearly said they know about the first Keyblade war and the lost masters. And this is post first Keyblade war...that mixed with the chess peice symbolism its obvious they are CLEARLY talking about the second Keyblade war.
      Xehanort seems to be convinced the second keyblade war is going to happen and darkness will win. And Eraqus seems to not object with this notion either, he just thinks he can change it. And Xehanort seems to respond with "I hope you're right but I doubt it".

  • @cjkula

    the only way he could have written the book of prophecies the 1st time would have been the whole "eye on a keyblade that could be passed on" thing. which means that before the events we saw, he had already done that. he had already made that keyblade and then either wandered about with it, allowing his past self to see future events, or had sent Luxu off with it. then his past self saw the events and wrote them down, before having even sent luxu of with the keyblade. in the book he wrote about the war, and heartless, and so on. he knew what would happen, and clearly didn't try to stop it, because like you said he did things that seem explicitly meant to cause it.. if it had been his instructions to his students and disappearance that caused it before, couldn't he just not give those instructions, even if he might still disappear? what would happen then? I think the War would have happened. his apprentices wouldn't be able to agree on a new leader, or on anything. eventually they'd fight and chaos would ensue. war, darkness, so on and son on. why did he disappear? we don't know. it might have been by choice, but maybe it was something that was going to happen even if he didn't want it too. maybe he didn't want the war to happen, but knew he couldn't be there to stop it himself. maybe he foresaw his own death.. I like the idea that yes he did set his students up to fight and cause the war, but only because he could do so in a way that would be predictable and allow him to ensure that at least 1 thing could be changed in the future, that being the dandelions staying out of the war and getting away, their light creating new worlds that could survive after the advent of darkness. he couldn't stop events of the future, but he could add new ones, and did so hopeing that it would give the world a 2nd chance to regain balance and be restored.(also, WHY THE FK won't the comment editor allow me to make paragraphs? why's does it have to be a text block? aaaah!)

      Well this assumes he can even see the future. This ability is not confirmed. We are only told that the book contains presumably accurate future predictions.
      When we are "shown" prophecies, they are very vaguely worded, ie never specific, and could feasibly mean many things. Fortune cookies and jipsies "tell/see the future" in this way as well.

    The master of masters says there's seven of them not six. I believe all along he was the traitor all along and he's been setting all this up to end the world instead of save it. They're all named after the seven deadly sins in latin which is foreboding. In the scene with Master Eraqus and Xhenort playing chess at the end when Eraqus shows the new game he created there are 7 black pieces with the symbols of the Foretellers + MoM on the chessboard. Signifying that they will fight with 1 light in the new game. Not to mention the MoM said he put his evil looking eye in to No Name which allows him to see the future. He can see the future but he basically causes the keyblade war on purpose. I believe MoM did all this to summon kingdom hearts and end the world himself.

    Heres what i think: the mortal still has mortal bound weakness. He can only exist that long in spirit, needing a new body, unless his embodiment is "spirit" meaning he can be revived around kh3 due to his "eye" which technically is the source or "heart" of some of his power, already having the rest in the realm up for the take by someone who was likely not necessarily a pawn but more like an accomplice. I dont think hes actually evil though because he is just human. The leaders treated him like more than that meaning they are pure enough to not be truly evil. The fact that he gave them that will to push themselves also must mean by balance he cant be that evil but as you said very neutral. For the sake of balance he does not have too much interference with any one of the 3 realms directly probably just trying to protect them all. Another thing is that it is explained that everything had to happen because if anything had been changed the darker kingdom hearts would have become to strong, throwing the balance out and ending everything. It is nobodys will to have the world erased. Not even xehanorts! He would be smarter than that but having to hide his intention for balance. Aka to make sure everyone does play the part instead of just quitting, though they did have to force some overconfidence in them, also causing them to be weakened slightly because they already had enough grief to begin with. Balance isnt about having the same amount of positive negative and neutral at once. Its about how they change in small times, while over a larger scale of time watching ti make sure the portions do not become to greater or to small than the neighbor or the real will be erased. To be strong enough to uphold thenecessary evils and the "evil inside the good" if that makes sense, ones humanity will seem sociopathic from social perspective but ones intelligence is so calculated that its meant for that way for alls benefit. After all it does cost ones own humanity and ability to even be remembered at some point. Opposed to being the first to start an endless cycle just to be remembered, whereas his intention caused a mere simulation at first to test humans will to follow through, then allowing them to make the next one actually count, that being the attempt xehanort has in kh3. I believe nort is luxu, gone somewhat mad by lack of purpose(nearly) but still hanging on, only to turn himself into someone elses body changig the name to xehanort, up until kh3 which he will probably feel like he doesnt care about living after finding some kind of control in the life he had where he was mostly only told what to do by past impulses and negativity. Never feeling true freedom or liberty, that is what the balance will do to you in that sense.

    Maybe what he was predicting wasn’t the first keyblade war in truth, it was the second. The one between Xehanort and the heroes of the present. Considering No Name exist to this day, that means The Master of Masters should see all the way into the present day, and be aware of who Sora and the others are. And the after he was always concerned about was after this one. Because he knew full well that with the first keyblade war, everything would turn out fine.
    Also, it’s kinda too obvious for the master of masters to be the villain. And while obvious villains aren’t bad, it’s a special kind of blatant where they give you enough little things for most people to put together.
    As for not caring what happens to the others... what would having future sight do to a person. He knows they’re going to die, and there’s nothing he can really do about it. And even so, just because he has good intentions for the further future, doesn’t mean he himself is the most noble person.

    • @mookiedt
      @mookiedt 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's clear the book is talking about the first war considering that the secret page talks about unions.
      You can say that he doesn't care, it's more of he knows it's going to happen no matter what he tries to do. Which is why he says they must focus on what's after. It's a situation that he knows through foresight that everyone can't be saved.

  • @Sagefox
    @Sagefox 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I think you are right that the Master of Master's constructed the scene for the keyblade war to happen. But I also think once he saw the future there wasn't much choice. You can't change events you know are going to happen. The way time works in Kingdom Hearts is a line. A destine future can't be avoided because it already happened. I think it's possible the Master knew the war couldn't be avoided so he controlled how the world would end so he could do things like make sure light lived on in a new world, and pass on what ever is in the box. So I think he betrayed the foretellers to preserve a new world. Wheather or not that is evil is debateable.

    @borislibaque1558 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm not convinced his speech style is a tell but I'm definetely like the idea of the Master being a villian. Here are my reservations:
    1st off, as we learned through the whole time travel thing, one cannot alter fate! The only people that can do that are, well the fates which we never meet but are presumably in the underworld on the Hercules worlds. This means if he had an agenda that would cause him to begin the unions and pass on the keyblades including his own, he came up with that agenda before peering into the future not knowing what he'd find there. Only upon writing the book of prophecy and not before is it fair to accuse him of manipulating the events in question, which is all fine and dandy except for the fact that "events" cannot be changed as they are an interwoven part of fate and the Master knows this. So why orchestrate a catastrophe destined to occur anyway is the correct question to ask. And the answer irrespective of his allegiances is to create an opportunity with the knowledge.
    Ask yourself this, because I do think everything in this video is accurate except that he is definitively a villain: why does Luxu follow the master "if" (we think when) he tells Luxu that he is in fact himself the traitor. Luxu would ask himself why the Master is the villian, he would wander and think about and decide its for a greater good or something that there is a goal deep into the future worth creating. So Luxu decides to follow anyway and is now acting independently chose to reveal the truth to Ava specifically, this is his action, his decision as someone who has chosen to follow the antagonist. And I think it tells us that Luxu has doubts but believes in the Master. He tells Ava in the hopes that her survivors spot the true villian in the wars to come, not knowing the scope of what is required (13 darkness and 7 lights) because he doesn't have a book but still trying to help in his own way.
    My opinion, the Master, Luxu, Ava, Ira etc they all make their own decisions seemingly random to everyone else, they're all cogs in the palms of fate. The Master might not be able to help but sow chaos anymore than the others could deny their roles and that might give a clue as to his true purpose (which he discovers after writing the book) which all we know about is to survive the keyblade war. I think when he time travels he realized there was something important he had to do to Kingdom Hearts something only he could and that spurred his decisions but his own fate was to die or disappear before getting the chance and he sees this too. This is important because given the current rules of time travel we know about, I think its safe to assume one cannot see beyond their death. So he designes a story where any of the 7 paths taken could lead to a future beyond Kingdom Hearts and then he plays his role; and I think what he came up with for himself is putting his nobody or his body or some version of himself in the box
    I think the story of the 7 Foretellers is the story of the 7 lights and how they came to be, to parallel the story of the 13 Darknesses. Thematically I find it strange to have 1 foreteller significantly more influencial than the rest. But I think Superior's main contribution will be something like allowing their hearts to be pure so they can eventually find thier way to our current 7 heroes. That might be what the keyblades are for, to keep them all connected no matter what in a "Let your heart be your guiding key" sortof way.

    I'm not sure it's important whether you want to call him evil or benevolent, but I definitely get the sense that he's not being truthful in the least. He makes several off-hand comments about "can't have you creating paradoxes now can we," which he says in a flippant way as well as telling Luxu that the mere existence of No Name is proof of his successful endeavor to pass it along from apprentice to apprentice. It's almost as if he's mocking his own prophecy (possibly because he doesn't even have the ability to see into future, but instead, has a keen insight into the nature of things and people, and is simply trusting events to unfold in the way that he supposes they will). In typical square enix fashion, the plot is incredibly convoluted. I can't clearly outline how all the pieces line up, but I think we can all agree that "longevity" itself might be the ultimate goal of the Master of Masters. His motives and goals are only limited by the writers imaginations, but we see this motif in most square enix games.
    Take his keyblade for example. The fixed eye is its prominent feature. Now from that you can gather that it's just an "all-seeing" eye, and symbolizes his ability to see into the future (supposedly), but we can also choose something slightly different - it could be a symbol of eternity, the eye that never closes.
    I really don't like oversimplifying things, and this is just one of the many possible lines that the writers may have in mind, however, I think it's a pretty good possibility. I see the Master of Masters as someone who studied, pondered, and gleaned just enough of his universe to think he could manipulate it or get one-up on it (like someone who sees just enough of the world to think that they possess the key to it's unlocking - but in actuality have missed the point entirely). I think this is the distinction that is made time and time again between "good" and "bad" characters. If he were wise and possibly benevolent, he should know there's no way to get one-up on the universe, and that creation and calamity are different, yet the same - and that he will die one day( and that's ok).
    So if people are interested in labeling the Master of Master as one or the other, the real difficulty is trying to get into Nomuras head and get a sense of how he views protagonists and antagonists within this universe that he's created. I can't do it with any certainty, but it's fun to try I suppose.

    It was stated that the master of master's only cares about seeing the future , the whole thing is an immortality scheme. Can't see the future if you're dead. There is the possibility of him being misguided as it stated in the game that the traitor wanted to do good but would go about in the wrong way. However that still leads him to caring about future vision and thus the immorality scheme, also it should be noted that in oder for him to live as long he may have to become either a nobody or use the ability to take possession of another person which would ultimately turn him from a misguided individual into an evil one.
    Plus he wields a key blade of darkness, darkness equals evil, aka malice, enough malice to take the lives of countless others.

    I can't shake off that the Master of Masters is Xehanort.
    In the organization 13 every somebody has an X added to their name. Xehanort = no heart. In BBS Aqua faces no heart and it's the same actions as Terra-xehanort.
    The Master of Masters gives Luxu his keyblade. Luxu= Braig/Xigbar in the epilogue summoning the 4 foretellers for this new mission in Kingdom hearts 4.
    I believe master of Masters is evil. And Luxu true role is to bring the Master back. Ava would need to reappear because there are 7 chess pieces of darkness. Which can possibly be the 7 that exist after the war which is all the foretellers the Master being included.
    The evilness of Xehanort and master of Masters have a striking similarity. They both are very cunning, they think they stand for good but are really misguided because of ending of KH3. About accepting destiny as being greater than what's in their grasp.
    Overall opinion I know the Master is evil

    very reasonable but in the end we just don't know. Why? BECAUSE NOMURA IS ON THE STORYBOARD. He could pull the following card out of his rectum to redem the master of master's actions:
    Major Keyevents in the future can not be avoided no matter what but you can change the details and the cause. Without the Master of Masters someone else would have discovered and spread the keyblade and they would form clans to rival each other just like the union. So What the master is doing is replacing every Keyevent with his own group of followers in order to ensure a brighter future by completing the prophecy in his way.

    The MoM is manipulative and deffo an antagonist. For a start as in the vid the foretellers all trust MoM without question. He then says there's a traitor amongst them yet does not reveal who it is which then sows distrust amongst all the foretellers. He then says I may disappear mysteriously... I'm thinking it's only a mystery to the foretellers, but to MoM I think has possessed someone else... Luxu maybe?

    When you are looking for sociapathic behavior, you will find it. Its like looking for something to be offended over in a TV show. At some point someone will say something "problematic". The real question is whether or not the time line is fixed or malleable. If the future is fixed, he realizes there is nothing that can be done to deter it and by fighting fate it will be worse. If the future isn't fixed, then you may be right. However you have just an equal chance of being wrong. If the future isn't fixed, then this simply could be the best outcome of many tries to avoid the keyblade war in the first place. Meaning: the fates he saw maybe have been much worse. What we don't know is if he can truly see into the future with no name or not. We can assume he does based on we know the first keyblade war happens and the darkness won by forcing Kingdom Hearts into retreat, a way of expiring if you will. In all likelihood, No Name doesn't make it past the second known keyblade war when he goes against the guardians of light.
    Another point, we don't know how far the Book of Prophecies that he handed out to the foretellers go into the future. If its only to the first known keyblade war, well then we have quite a story on our hands. I haven't gotten far in unchain x because its a mobile game, and I don't like that style of gameplay. What I will say though apparently, the new union leaders have a book of prophecy. How far does that book go? There is still a lot up in the air. MoM more than likely is someone who has seen the future and figures its impossible to avoid, so go with the flow and make things easier. If his future sight is real, he sets the events up because its his destiny to do so.
    I really wonder how all the keyblade wielders came about. Lets assume 500k keyblade wielders are running around before the war. Did MoM make all those keyblades? Were they passed down by family in a ritual of inheritance? There are just a lot of wielders but (again not that far into union x) we only have heard of a few masters, so are they perpetually making keyblades for new wielders?
    I don't think MoM is evil nor do I think he a sociapath.

  • @ShikyoSendo89
    @ShikyoSendo89 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I think this theory is pretty sound, if you think of it from a single linear perspective. But you're forgetting one thing, the Master of Masters isn't viewing the whole thing as a single series of events, cause and effect. He knows what is going to happen, thanks to the book of prophesies. To him, someone who knows what is going to happen as fact, everything is just history. His inability to show emotion, making light of the situation, and joking around isn't sociopathic, it's him resigning himself to what has to come.
    When you think along these lines, his words to the others aren't really manipulative, just him playing a role in a script he has already read. He could easily want things to change, but knows he can't change them. As for why he'd want his Eye to continue to see the future, it's simple. He's probably seen something he wants to avoid or change and all of what has happened has been in an effort to change it or to put himself in a position where he could change it. Again, we are dealing with time travel here, we need to think beyond more than just what we see. Always assume there is something else we don't know. Like what if the book is incomplete and only the Master of Masters knows the whole thing?

    Master of masters is obviously Xehanort. Xehanort is the only one with an eye keyblade, only one obsessed with the war , he uses deception and acts like a good guy as seen by birth by sleep, and other versions of him have black hoods to hide themselves. The purpose of all this. All this and Organization 13. Is so he can assemble 13 versions of himself and rule all. He is pulling the strings. Also as with organization 13 members his name has an X in it. So if we took away x we may be able to find out the true identity for the master of masters, aka Xehanort. most people honestly cant find the plot of the franchise but i think i just got pretty darn close. Maybe i'm wrong maybe not, but i think this is the true plot.

    For as little as I know about it, I feel the need to mention this:
    If people read a book that says events will happen a certain way, ho do they react to that? Like, not only is that a sign of "no free will" but even then, the characters in the story don't even seem to try and fight it. Which makes it even more confusing because the only reason the actions happen the way they do is a contrived mess of *no one bothered to try otherwise*.
    If this is the case, with these people who know about the book and they don't consider looking into it and deciding "nah, let's not do this" or I don't know *try to rewrite it if that's possible*, then what about people who know nothing about it? How do Sora and the other warriors of light have any chance of winning if its most likely already in the book *that they lose.*
    Fucking christ.

    • @mookiedt
      @mookiedt 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sora's timeline isn't written in the book, it's only up to the keyblade war. It wouldn't have mattered if anyone "bothered to try otherwise". if an event is suppose, it will happen no matter what you try to do.

  • @dominokos
    @dominokos 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Still don't believe that the MoM is evil. If he wanted them to fight, he didn't need to go through this whole hassle that he went through.
    He is THE Master of Masters! He is the one that started this whole ordeal. If he wanted them to fight he probably could've just told them to bash each other's heads in and they'd do it!
    But he chose to teach them that they should strive for light and refuse darkness. I think he has some other motives for why he acted the way he did. He knows that destiny cannot be changed so easily and I think the things he does in X are basically done with a long-term plan in mind. Plus, it would just be way too obvious and easy if he was JUST evil. They even gave him the black coat that the organization 13 wear in the future. That's way waaaaaay too simple! Anyway that's my 2 cents. If he turns out to actually be evil I will be fairly disappointed in Nomura's writing because like ok then why not just make it clear from the start. Why even beat around the bush about it? I don't know. I just don't like the idea. It seems to me like a cop-out. Like yeah, he's just evil. He's just the first and most powerful keyblade wielder ever who just has nothing better to do than create all these factions and then make them fight for no reason other than what? His enjoyment? Nah man, I'm not a fan.

    Yes but if he can see the future maybe this is the path he saw for light to become victorious? He might have seen any other possibility and Xehanort wins in them? I like this theory, but I don't necessarily think the MoM is evil. He strikes me not as an immoral character, but an AMORAL one. He's manipulative and isn't very concerned with the mass deaths caused by the Keyblade War, but that may be bc he knows everything that will happen and in his mind, there's no point in being emotional over something you KNOW cannot be changed (which is why he's so carefree and nonchalant). What I don't get is why he needs to know the future, and what his goals are. During the events of BC he already seems very powerful, so what else does he have to gain with foresight? Does he want to open Kingdom Hearts? I dunno, I just want to know what's in that box

      [Marluxia to Srelitzia's Remnants: Flower Gleem and Glow let your power shine make the clock reverse bring back what once was mine...Heal what has been hurt,change the fates design save what has been lost bring back what once was mine,what once was mine.]

    Goddamn i'm out of the loop. Still i'm guessing that the master is a clone of Xenahort. Or maybe the original Xenahort. For all we know Master Xenahort's goat keyblade is evil and sentient and carries the will of the Master or Masters. And basically makes everyone who uses it start apocalyptic wars for its own amusement like Soul Edge. Xenahort only thinks he's in control.

    Also i beleive the MoM also has tried on multiple occasions to change the future, he seems to have this "we already talked about this" attitude when explaining their roles in the movie. It could also be that he has been finding which path was one where he ended up alive and in power. And perhaps found it but probably stopped at him having power and stopped looking in the future, probably thinking he won and ends up being like the final boss later in the series

  • @gothdoll99
    @gothdoll99 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I can't argue that he's good or evil BECAUSE of his foresight abilities. I have a video on this already, but really we have no way of knowing when he got those powers. That determines everything.

    • @dagadbm
      @dagadbm 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's all a lie he doesn't have any powers. he just wanted akeyblade war for unknown reasons. though that doesn't explain the "eye" stuff

But fa real good vid, nice thoery. First time I saw MoM I thought he was evil so I'm right there with u.

    So I know that the game is coming out soon but watching your videos and other theories. And i agree it is a sham. And even more I notice how he wanted all that chaos to ensue, but why? Well the reason seems rather similar to something like a philosophers stone, and perhaps all that lux is the ingredient. Maybe kingdom hearts wasnt something that had to be opened at the time. Maybe he planted that name in their minds creating an object they never even seen, and kingdom hearts was created from all the hearts and lux lost during the keyblade war, maybe his alterior motive is something similar to obtaining the power of a god, creating a place where he abdolutely controls all the hearts, all the keyblades, everything, the 7 deadly sins should be proof of that as well, that he would use them as a tool to create a being that is perfect and whole. Similar to how xemnas wanted to become something from nothing and how he also sought kingdom hearts. It seems very possible

  • @wafflezorz1
    @wafflezorz1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    When you called the Master of Master chaotic neutral I have to disagree. He KNOWS what will happen, therefore it follows all of his actions are meant to aid in the future he sees occurring. He is a determinist, that’s the opposite of chaos.

    "Got it memorised"
    he is axel as axel is the only other person to revive other then xemnas xeranort whatever you wanna go with
    his heartless was never destroyed but he revived
    he knows all that is to come and has placed himself in the place of every also the guy in the black coat
    has the same voice and sarcastic personality as him
    not to mention the same eyes as the eye on the keyblade lol
    hey finds out that the paradox he has created will cause him to be the main villan in the story and will never live past the true keyblade war
    so he this time aligns himself with good in an attempt to stray away from his own book of prophecey
    "Got it memorised"
    has so many more levels of meaning than we all knew

    • @brooksie9999999999
      @brooksie9999999999 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      in axels speeches of him wanting a heart
      and in the falseness of him growing a heart
      it was a lie he never lost his heart and was interdependently working on the finals levels of the scheme during the events of kingdom hearts 2
      trying to harder in itself to change everything he had created
      he tried to emplor roxas to turn on there plan so he could bypass all of this and use the heart of ven the original one he used and needed to create the keyblade war once again but in a different way but aligning himself now on both side good and evil to ensure he eternal livings and be able to obtain kingdom hearts
      for that is what axel means when he said he wants a heart
      not just a heart he wants kingdom hearts

    • @brooksie9999999999
      @brooksie9999999999 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also Jimmeny's journal is the book of prophecy king mickey himself may also fit into this tbh
      because the master of masters just wants to obtain kingdom hearts that is all

    • @brooksie9999999999
      @brooksie9999999999 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      this theroy is so lucid tho when you take in the account of the new trailers to kingdom hearts 3
      the master of masters can also be ventus and venitus
      spliting himself into the duality to go on forever to be on the sides of both good and both evil to be on the side that wins and wrerites the history and they were the good guys
      no matter what the master of masters is onesness and duality
      he himself knowing that one day good and evil will clash and he will clash for himself
      as the ultimate piece of entertainment of true omnipitence to fight somone on an even playing field
      to fight oneself
      "Got it memorised"

    • @AraluenSparr
      @AraluenSparr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What do you mean we have no back story on Braig?? In Birth by Sleep he was simply one of the guards/accomplices at Radiant Garden, he was a hired hand by Xehanort, he lost his eye in a fight with Terra. Literally an evil henchman and nothing more than that - the voices are also different. They probably would have gotten the same voice actor if it was truly Braig. Braig also is not a keyblade wielder and has coveted it since Birth By Sleep, so how the hell can he spawn keyblades from people's hearts at will? All he is and ever will be is an evil henchman who sold off his soul to the devil. Basically a Boba Fett character with extra lines and appearances.
