    Just discovered your channel. Have done a couple of seated core workouts and, while challenging, loved them. Meredith's instruction, cuing and pacing are spot on. She 'gets it' in terms of ability to engage the viewer and acknowledge their potential issues. Despite a daily yoga practice for 20+ years, health challenges and age have taken toll on balance and core strength. No dread factor ...can't wait to indulge more of the routines here (so many from which to choose!). Nice to actually be excited about working out!! Thank you. :)

    Wonderful to have a specific workout for the abs, great for combining with one of the cardio sessions.     Floor exercises were difficult for me and I am so happy to have found this seated one. I do your low-impact cardo and your resistance band exercises. All so GREAT ! a million thanks and likes

    Great job! Thank you so much! As a former Geriatrician, I can say to you that you are really good, and not only explaining us the exercises, but with your attitude, your smile, you are really taking care of us, like we were in front of you, in your gym, a fantastic teacher, and coach! Your advice are very important, as you clearly understood that elderly are not like adults, I mean that they can't do everything that an adult might do, and sometimes we want to remember when we were strong and in good shape, forcing our body to do what it can't. I'm talking about myself, maybe someone else can mirror themselves in my description, maybe not, it's not important, all of us are unique people. Anyway we have to accept our age, and phisiology, but that doesn't mean that if we have diseases, it's normal. I'm sorry, it's not... elderly=disease... not at all. However doing some exercises, and if we can, walking every day is fundamental, and Meredith, you are absolutely right telling us... as you can, as your body allows you to, without forcing, or pushing yourself too much. Time is passing, we're not getting younger, but we can help our body to stay young, and Meredith, you are helping us, thanks again.

    Am I doing something wrong? My quads hurt but I could hardly feel joy lower abs working. I have trouble isolating my abs and getting them to do the job. What do you suggest?

      Hi Claudia! Very common and easy to only feel the quads and hip flexors. My suggestions are going slow, focusing on the lower abdominals, and isolate. The core has to be sucked in and tight, and really make the mind tell the lower abs to do the work. Might sound silly but if you try you will notice what I am saying:) Especially when I am fatigued, I too have trouble isolating my lower abdominals.

      Hi Larry! Thank you for the question, and a very good one! There is no optimal time to exercise. It really depends on the individual, and what fits in the schedule. Also, when it feels like you are doing your best workout and feel most accomplished. Personal preference, and put it on the schedule:)

      Hi! That depends on the intensity that you make the workout, holding weights, etc. Also, each person burns a different number of calories depending on their bodies. So that is a tough question to answer.
