    In this workout we will be doing a great standing cardio routine that will get your heart rate up and get your body moving and feeling great!
    The moves and exercises in this video are designed for you to do easily in your own home and doesn't require any equipment, only you! This is a full body cardiovascular workout incorporating the entire body, from the lower to the upper body and core.
    All of these elements together will help strengthen your entire body and help with your balance which is so important during your ADL's (activities of daily living).
    Weekly cardio routines are great for heart health and help keep your body flexible and nimble. Having great cardiovascular health is essential to living an active lifestyle no matter your age.
    Always remember to drink lots of water and only do movements that you feel comfortable with. Never force anything that does not feel right for you, listen to your body.

    I found myself having to do this several times to get my heart rate up which is awesome. Bi am still learning and am not the greatest w choreographed movement...yet 😂

    This is excellent coaching Meredith. I think I found my routine. I have chronic arthritis and I know I have to keep moving safely. I am able to do your videos everyday without hurting myself. The videos aren't too long so it's a perfect pace for me. Keep the core tight and breathing steady are such good reminders throughout the session. Thank you

    I really enjoyed this! I appreciate the reminders to breathe and reminders of needing to listen to our bodies and do what is right for us. After injuries over the years, I have finally learned this. I could maybe push myself harder, but I would rather do a little less so that I may keep going. Injury recovery takes way too long. Looking forward to more videos!!

    Although I'm not a Senior i haven't exercised since having Covid in December as breathing was still an issue. I wanted a gentle way of getting back into it. Thoroughly enjoyed this, not too intense but felt like a workout. Thank you, I will continue with this for a while to build myself back up x

    Hai Meredith..glad to be back with yr workouts after approximately 3 weeks of inactivity. Decided to do this workout as I've done it before. I feel relaxed and comfortable with the steps ,paces and duration. It's just perfect for me to kickstart for my fitness routines. Your workout videos never failed me.     Quick cardio workout. I got all the movements down - only thing I am having trouble with is the "grapevine" move - if you could please go over that step by step. Thank you for these healthy exercise videos!

      Yes Kathy, the grapevine step: feet start together, take a step right and plant the foot, bring the left foot behind right and pant it; right foot comes up to move to right and plant; left comes to meet it. Now other way:) I hope this helps!

    Hi there !! I finally worked up to this low Impact exercise I was doing the one for 14, 15 minutes so I’m moving on up and I’m following all your workouts! Because many of the workouts I was looking for were still kind of hard for me, so because of your low impacts I’ am becoming healthier and stronger .. I truly 🙏 thank you !! Your calm way down doing this is most excellent for me !

As for your question, I will left heavy for some body parts(25-30lb dumbbell for upper back, lower body), but I don’t advocate for that unless someone has worked their way up and stays as safe as possible!     Really enjoyed this workout, although it challenged the coordination of my upper body and lower body movements but I will practise these and master them. Really enjoyed the stretching at the end for cooling down as well.

      Upper and lower body working together makes the brain work in a different way, challenges it. Especially when the moves are going in “different directions”. I hope that helps! Take care!

    Thank you for this workout, which would be perfect if there were music! I especially appreciate the stretches and cool down at the end, so many exercise videos give the stretches short shrift, and they're so important. Thanks for getting me moving.

      I like it because there is NO music. Once I can anticipate her moves, I can silence it and watch TV while I exercise.

    Getting back into walking after hammy injury…perfect! About how many steps do you think this is?

      Hi! I would say 2-3,000 steps. This is a great workout to do getting back in it from an injury. Way to go!

    love you videos! I have a suggestion for this one. many seniors have poor balance , I would add a suggestion to have a sturdy chair nearby to steady self. my balance is awful after massive stroke and I find that just touching something solid with one finger stabilizes me.

    This is great for beginners who have special needs due to injuries/arthritis too! I have been doing this workout every day for 3 weeks and im wondering what you would suggest for the next step if I want to increase difficulty?

    Love your workouts. For variety, I've started stacking the shorter workouts to equal 30-45 minutes. I like the total body conditioning - helps keep me mobile at 73 YO. I've been a subscriber for about three months, ready to become a contributor. Are there added benefits to contributors?
