Brother you don’t know how much you helped people like me with all your videos information! I’m 7 weeks post Alif L5 s1 fusion and the first 4 weeks were really bad pain! After that I’ve been feeling better every week but this week the numbness and tingling come back kind of scary feeling 😅 but looking at your videos it looks like it’s something normal!.
There definitely is an ebb and flow with the pain. Hope yours goes away completely and quickly! Keep me posted.
plz keep updating , m liiking forward this surgery. grade 1 spondylothis
Check out my newer vids. It does get better!
Did you have surgery yet?
Very informative videos. Thanks
I am 10 weeks out from L4-L5 fusion. I have ok days then I have days when I’m I’m bed. I hope I will eventually be pain free
I hope you will be too! We deserve it right?? Good luck. You got this!
B Deal, I am at 7 months L4L5 fusion. I’m not a young person like Chris; but I will say for me physical activity has made a difference in my recovery. Of course I do what my surgeon and PT team recommend.
This channel needs more subscribers! Alif L5-S1 next month pencilled in, seriously anxious. Nothing through the back, this apparently gives a better recovery time. Disc degeneration, annular tear, bulge, straightening lumbar spine. Hoping to get back to cycling and kayaking. I do think your case is a lot worse than mine. So hard to make the decision
Good luck. It’s a rough surgery but so glad I got it done. I have been biking all over Chicago like crazy. No issues. Have yet to try a kayak. But I have paddleboarded. Some days are better than others but my activity tolerance keeps increasing. Godspeed to a smooth and fruitful recovery. Stay strong and stay well.
Bionic Living thank you man appreciate it. I’m only have alif through the front with a spacer. They aren’t going through the back or putting rods in. It’s single level L5 S1
Thanks for this content. I’m terrified of the next chapter (PLIF/ALIF L5/S1 scheduled in 1 month) What we’re your symptoms prior to surgery? I’m concerned this won’t even solve the original problem I’ve had over past 5 months (terrible pelvic area discomfort)
I had right drop foot. Inability to walk at times. Constant weakness, shooting pain, numbness all in my right leg. Back felt great! Lol. Good luck. How are you feeling now?
How did it go?
I am 9 months out of the surgery I have very stiff back is this normal?
Sorry for the delay. Did the stiffness ever get better? ❤️🩹
@@bionic_living hi
No didn’t get better it’s really stiff sometimes I sit and cry quietly. It has lots to do with my life style I guess I have 18month old baby and so much responsibility maybe that’s why . It was definitely hard experience and surgery
@@vortex21rainz26I hope you’re doing better. I’m in a similar situation and terrified of not being able to support my family.
