    I was going through myself with my surgery you gotta get out there and do it yourself. There’s no one is going to do it for you. You have to do your own exercise walk get in the pool walk much as you can do your scratches. I’m at my seven month and I have physical therapy God and me worked it out together.

      @@bionic_living Yo bro i hope you are doing good! i just received the notification. My spine surgeon saved my life! I am almost pain free and i can function again! Its been just over 5 months since my surgery. Ahhh but i think (HOPE) i pulled a muscle in my back now...Few nights ago i was getting something out the truck and a weird neighbor walked right up on me in the dark and i thoght it was a creep and scared the shit out of me and i twisted real quick and BOOM. Think i am ok as i can still move without that pain but damn!! I was not happy with him!! Its rude to do that and not the first time hes done it.

    Hang in there Bro.
    I had a Left THA in March, followed by a ALIF/PLIF two weeks ago. It will get better. The realignment of your spine has probably put stress on the hip. Hopefully, a steroid shot will knock the pain down. As you already know, coming back from a THA is a breeze compared to the fusion surgery.

      @@bionic_living Doing well 3.5 weeks out from the surgery. Days are generally paIn free and active. Walking close to 4 miles total a day and doing cardio on a Teeter Freestepper that I bought right before the surgery to help with recovery. I am also doing some light bands for strength training. Nights are different story. Lots of nerve pain in the feet. Surgeon just prescribed Gabapetin to knock down the pain. My surgeon also has me on a bone Stimulator 2 hours a day. Stats show it increases fusion success by 30%. I am glad all is working out for you. Your still young and resilient. Let me tell getting old ain't for sissies. Good Luck Bionic Man

    Was your Fusion one level L4/L5? My right hip started hurting and the hip doctor told me it was not my L5/S1 disc and not from my hip! I hope they figure it out. People don't understand how bad the back pain is. I was hoping my last surgery was it forever and finding out I might have to have surgery on that L5/S1 disc but will wait as long as I can if I can get back to doing things I was doing before surgery. Good luck and keep the videos coming!

    • @KBradAdams

      Just watched another video and saw it was your L5/S1 that you had fused.. so it should not be the disc then...

    Had an alif 6 weeks ago. Still a lot of nervepain in one foot. Its hard on everyone too who have to listen to the complaint. But it's difficult to understand the pain if you dont feel it. And it can be horrible 😅😵‍💫😥

      The pain is at the front part of my left hip. New pain. And too soon pain. My back and the right leg feel absolutely amazing! I am worried it’s time for my third hip replacement. Already had two on the other side. First one sucked. So it had to be removed and redone by another surgeon. I get major surgery every two years. I’m tired. And have lost all hopes of being pain free, functional or eventually leading a normal happy life.

      @@bionic_living NEVER GIVE UP!! You are here for a purpose! I am meeting with a neurosurgeon in June for a consult for 2 herniated disc and sciatica pain. I am though taking a supplement called Alpha lipoic acid and it is amazing for nerve and joint pain. It is not habit forming and helps many other things. Also take Vitamin k2 and D3 together for bone and joint health. Even though you may think this is crazy. Listen to a Christian radio station ( KLove) and get Peace from focusing on what you have going for you. I totally understand chronic pain believe me, but I also know your mind is powerful and its a battle to fight for peace of mind but YOU MUST! I'm praying for you to be healed in Jesus Mighty Name.

    I’m having my ALIF next month and I’m scared to death. From the research I’ve done, the tendons surrounding the spine can become pretty sprained with the very sudden lift to your spine. I’ve heard stem cells from bone marrow can be injected to help heal these tendons???? Any updates? Just seeing this was six months ago.

    • @bionic_living
      @bionic_living  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’ll do great! Remember to rest, get help and take it slow. Very slow. There is no rush to heal. I would ask your surgeon more about the stem cells. I did not receive that treatment.
      As for me, I am now doing great!! I am over a year out from my surgery. I will have a new video next week with lots good news.

    Why did you had to undergo fusion? What was your problem? What was the diagnosis??

    • @bionic_living
      @bionic_living  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had dropfoot and severe right leg pain and weakness. I could barely work or even walk the dog. My diagnosis was a Grade 2 spondylolisthesis with right side Pars Defect and my L5/S1 level. I was bone on bone onto the nerve that was going to my right leg. If I didn’t get the surgery I most likely would have lost control of the leg with time. Thanks for watching. Do you suffer from chronic pain? How are you managing?

      @irfanrahman6165 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bionic_living Yes I am suffering from low back pain since 1.5 years. Yet waiting for a correct diagnosis of the root cause of pain. Will be visiting a spine surgeon very soon.

    You didn't have a PLIF. A PLIF requires an incision in the middle of the back. You were cut twice, one on each side for screws and rods placement for the ALIF. That's not a PLIF.
