Once had a coworker who had parties at their apartment. They had a number of hidden microphones around their apartment. In essence, they recorded the entire party. Next day, they'd listen to the entire tape. Fact. Never a friend but well worth knowing such people exist.

I just don't like people sharing other's personal information, stuff they said in confidence, or making/spreading negative assumptions about people who might have perfectly valid reasons for the things they're being unfairly judged for. The gossip/information line is really hard to navigate as a teacher, at least when it comes to students, especially when you throw legal confidentiality into the mix.
Sometimes you need to fill multiple teachers in on what a student did, because they work with that student and it's relevant, but it really feels like gossiping.
As a substitute teacher I hear a lot of stuff about students in all grades, but since I technically could have any of those student in class the next day, sometimes it really is relevant for me to know.

The Junior would deliberately act bitchy, the CEO would drop totally sexist comments and they would see what you said about them. Armed with the knowledge my new best friend gave me, I managed to stay totally neutral through-out, but it was a total trap. They were toying with new staff in a very twisted way. I've had moments like this... ... except I'm less a gossip and more of a make positive change with action...

The corporate environment is exhausting. Running my mouth, stabbing people in the back, spreading innuendo, no wonder I am tired when I get home.

I work in an adult store, and I'm a server on the weekends, so we gossip about our customers. I've never worked in an office setting, and I don't think that I could.

    Good word!
    LOL!
I have a friend who lurrrves to gossip.
So, I start with telling her I have loads to tell her.
She on the edge of her seat waiting, then I say, "If I tell you, what will you do with the info."
She always tells me it will be between me and her.
I kid you not, I tell her zilch but make out how interesting going to the shop was.
    She falls for it everytime.

I want more videos about the weird Cthulhuesque eldritch horror that takes your form and communicates to you from its hellish home dimension via mirrors. One of these days it will drop its human mask and melt you like the Arc of the Covenant or drive you hopelessly insane, but until then I enjoy its drunken, snarky humor.

Lisa having one set of 100 small envelopes and another set of 40 slightly larger envelopes really put a stamp on Lisa's hatred of Allison.

I assume (with no judgement) theres a cool referential bit to Friends in this using coffee cups and mugs to hide the baby bump
