Legitimate dream last night.
There was some kind of discuss shuffleboard 3 team game from work (Currently unemployed)
We got a ringer who travels around winning these tournaments for like 300 bucks for five days work.
We won the tournament, thanks to him, i kept getting 5s which is bad.
So when we were collecting prize money i wanted 25 dollars. After all i was on the team.
This needs to be a series, one for nightmares, one for weird sex dreams, one for strange pregnancy dreams. Flying dreams, falling dreams, etc

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve considered making a doctors appointment regarding my dreams. But this, this saves me a trip! Now I know and I feel much better about dreaming now! Thank you!
This was funny! But on a serious note, I brought up my occasionally violent, disturbing dreams to my doctor, and she told me not to worry- at a certain time in our cycles, it's common for the hormone change to cause terrible dreams. It hasn't stopped the dreams, but I feel SO much better knowing I'm not a psycho! 😆

Not me, I would be arrested, I have very horrific nightmare. Every time I tell them people are shocked. Stuff the makes horror stories look tame which is why I never watch that shit. Life is enough torture, I do not need to add any more.

Janet must be doing my dreams. I missed the school bus 🚌, my mom couldn’t take me to school. I saw my car 🚙 from 1992 , started to drive to 5th grade. Saw a coworker from 1996 and we decided to go for beer 🍺 instead. Then another friend gives me lottery numbers which I remembered woke up and immediately jotted down. Played in real life not one number hit. Thank you Janet 😄

Lol yeah these dreams are so true to mine. Had one where I was trying to graduate from university. Was told I had not taken geology (!) in elementary school. I tried to go back and take it I tried but the desks were too small so I couldn’t fit…😁
(Irl I had graduated uni over a decade ago; two of my best friends had majored in geology but not me & there is no elementary school geology)

3. Both of my cats started randomly hating and ignoring me (nightmare). They even rolled their eyes I remember lol
1) whenever you touch someone they become a clone of you
2) trees become sentient and try to enslave humanity (most of which are clothes)
3) A volcano erupts and kills my 4rth grade classmates (some of which are clones)
It all makes sense now, Janet is writing my dreams!

Absolutely loved this one. Seems so true to the dream scripters in my head. You captured dream logic so much better than they ever do in TV and movies, which tend to be far too beholden to cause and effect.

@@SteinGauslaaStrindhaug Especially the part with going to the 4th floor and suddenly being in a bathroom. Having locations being totally skewed and not making sense as far as location and placement. It's especially weird if that happens with familiar locations, or even more strange if it's some location that I only vaguely remember going to a long time ago.
@@plasmaoctopus1728 and how seriously we take those scenarios when as soon as you wake up you’re like, “but that’s not even scary or an impediment.” I mean, why couldn’t he go down the stairwell just because Don Cheadle was there lol.
Yessss. This is why I loved the dream episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Lots of random rooms strung together, interactions that don't make sense.

The number of times I've tried to find a working bathroom *with a toilet* in dreams is ridiculous. Shower stalls, empty stalls with nothing in them at all, dressing rooms (in the bathroom), or "this is the guy's bathroom, I shouldn't even be in here"... all usually in the same session of searching for something I shouldn't be doing in my sleep regardless.
You know how sometimes you're watching sports, and you know the guy is an incredible talent, but then they pull something off that you didn't even think of, never mind consider it possible? That is Julie in this video. Julie is like the Picasso of comedians. It doesn't make any sense, but it's so compelling.
That little bit at the end, when she gets so happy that others called her idea good. Well done.
Now I want a rerun of the dream about Mickey Mouse and my sister goading me into high-diving into a mud puddle, but this time with the director's commentary on. Great sketch!
Or the time my mom took me to some house and I had to pick up dead rats, so I tried only touching the tails. Then suddenly I was dangling from giant wooden blocks over a pool of lava that took up about half my bedroom. After letting go of the blocks I fell into the lava which was only as warm as a hot tub, and then Walt Disney burst through my door. I'd love to hear the commentary on that one!

LOVE THIS! It explains my dreams - like the one with Tex Smelting Iron (who looked eerily like Yosemite Sam, is that a copyright infringement?), Cary Grant, My Uncle Bobby, and a Twig Fairy that took place in my High School gym and a small cabin in a wintery woods. My therapist had a field day with that one! As usual, brilliant Julie!

And this must be why I had that weird dream of my boss asking me to sit on his lap during a conference meeting and doing stuff to me in front of all my co-workers, and he wasn't even attractive, at all!! Ugh, it's Julie's fault
Worst part of dreams for me is being like, "so I had this crazy dream where I was in my parent's house--well it wasn't my parent's house but I thought it was my parent's house but the floor plan was from my first apartment after college except the bathroom which is from the house I live in now, and then Rick comes up except he's also Blake somehow but also I am sometimes me and sometimes Rick/Blake--wait by then we were vacationing in paris but in the same house..."
So little makes sense that it's impossible to make a cohesive story out of it.

This reminds me of the time my family evacuated for a hurricane and stayed in an office building. While there I had a dream where I had a deadline for a work project (I worked in an elementary school at the time and I was STRESSED) and a timer was counting down with a beeping noise and suddenly a 10 inch tall Tom Cruise Mission Impossible figurine leaped out of a filing cabinet and started yelling that if I didn't finish the project a bomb was going to go off and he starting singing the theme song to the movie. I woke up after I fell off the camp bed I was sleeping on and then I realized that the beeping sound was from a computer in the office and it had started because the power had gone off & it was alerting that it was running out of battery power. The beeping got filtered through my mind & manifested that dream. Not the most fun dream I've ever had.
Can we please have this be a series, I absolutely love this.
I'd love to see another team-up where one of your ongoing characters butts heads with one of Ryan George's ongoing characters. Like you invade one of his regular sketches or vice versa.
The question is - if I fall asleep handcuffed to a clown in real life, will my dreams be perfectly normal mundane stuff?

At the start of the pandemic, I kept having extremely bizarre dreams every night to the point where I started writing them down.
My favorite was the one where I was interviewing Barack Obama for a job but he only wanted the job because he was in love with me. And also I was only myself for part of the dream because I was also Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec for some of it.

This made me laugh!!
I used to have recurring dreams where I was trying to walk quickly and then run, but I couldn’t move one of my legs. I was just dragging it along, trying to get through endless hallways, so I could get to my doctor appointment on time, but there were people everywhere because I was in a carnival funhouse, naturally, and I couldn’t get through the mirror maze to find the reception desk to check in.
Then COVID happened and this doctor started doing video appointments, dressed in what I think he slept in (really wrinkled t-shirt) and a baseball cap. I don’t have those dreams anymore. lol
Whoever is on my dream council has like four of the chaotic hat Julies
The fact that Julie cuts away from the person talking to the person listening in the video halfway through a dialogue makes the conversation appear natural and lively
Oh , I hate that, when I wake up and know I had a livid dream (made up by Janet, I guess) and then totally forgot it. There might be a special feeling left and I would love to remember the dream. But it is gone for eternity.

My middle school dreams were rife with me realizing that I was awake in public in my pajamas (or less). Then one day IRL …
I’m sitting in math class wondering why it’s so hot in here, look around to see nobody else particularly bothered, and while the teacher kept rattling on about something that might have been important, I lifted up my t-shirt just enough to see that I still had my stars and strips pj tank shirt underneath. (Yes, I can picture the pattern of the pajama fabric, but I have no idea which T-shirt I had on over it.)
Never had that dream since - or maybe it was that it was no longer traumatizing enough for my asleep brain to bother remembering.
2:07: Ohmigerd, love you so much for this bit. My dreams when I was a kid used to have me in one place, then just opening a door into a completely different place that's not supposed to be there.

my dream last night was a combo of I-robot, the matrix/inception and raised by wolves. It was a 'raised by wolves' robot that didn't think it had committed a crime, so i was the detective sent to interrogate it. We began the interview but the robot escaped and began causing havoc but it was actually a dream/matrix like thing to see what the robot could do... then i woke up
Janet was great from the first moment on, but when she spoke about the floating poop and gestured to her popcorn bowl - that got me completely! 🤣
My strangest dreams shortened:
1. Made it into Heaven (fancy hotel) that exists right next to Hell (frozen Walmart parking lot).
2. Slept with my real professor to pass a class (already graduated)
3. Dinosaur Zombie Apocalypse
Hell, frozen? Interesting.
Reminds me of the phrase “when Hell freezes over”

Spend longer looking for the toilet, like forever, and when he wakes up, he has to pee so badly, he barely makes it to the real-world toilet.

I have had dreams even weirder than the ones described in this episode. Most of them involve scifi. I really like watching how humorous your videos are. You make very funny videos. Keep up the good work.
I had to pause the video at 2:41 to disturb the neighbors with my vocal appreciation of that quiet, 'Of course.' followed by the enraged stare of incredulity. Well done.

I once had a dream that was the entire argument for an Asterix&Obelix movie drawn in three different art styles. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was actually about.
TH-cam had it as "Handcuffed to a Clown"...The wait was beautiful, the timing impeccable and the delivery...delicious.
What I so loved was how ...bland it started, like the rider up the roller coaster in the beginning until (BAM)...making out with the sixth grade teacher. That was like drop right after the top of the roller coaster climb; the ride...exhilarating.

I create my own dreams to be able to sleep at night. And then my dream will take its own path but I still can control the dream in case I don't like it. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the good part. So I imagine that part to fall asleep again and finish the dream. My brain has no right to not let my dream end on a happy ending. Right now I'm in a phase of constantly making up a dream where I'm a film director and is colabbing with my favourite actors and actresses as the cast. Meanwhile, my mom thinks I have a sleeping disorder.

On anti-depressant Effexor I had nested dreams to infinity. The line between awake and asleep had been completely erased. I spent the whole night running experiments to test whether I was awake the last time I woke up. I'd move objects in the room. Then wake up again and they'd be moved, so I knew I'd been awake. Brilliant! Then the desk would rear up and gallop out of the room. I did not react well. I was pretty sure I had schizophrenia

I've started to remember seeing my spirit guide in my dreams. I always see the same person no matter what's going on in the dream. Sometimes she just leans out from the extras and waves, and then goes back into the crowd.

This is like the most accurate representation of my dreams ever.
Foil, Arms, and Hog did something similar - two veteran dream writers wanting to stick with the tried-and-true random BS (teeth falling out, pants missing), but the one guy really wants to use the power of subconsciousness to deal with the dreamer's unresolved psychological issues.

The Julie wearing a cap may be on the team, because of a family connection to someone high up, (I don't know who Mr. Sandman is), but she ACTUALLY really knows what she's talking about! 😃 I particularly liked her idea of walking down several flights of stairs, but never getting to the bottom. I've had many dreams like that before. It can either be trying to get from A to B, or trying to get a job finished, but it's just neverending.

The weirdest dream I had was that I was in my boarding school, and I had to find my school principal. I knew he was upstairs somewhere in the dorm hallways.
But as I was going up the stairs, I felt like I was moving in slow motion and the stairs did not seem to end. I then just got off at the second floor and into the hallway. I opened one of the room doors because I heard from one of students that passed by that the principal was in that room.
I opened the door and right there, in the middle of the room in a marble bathtub was my aunt.
And that's when I woke up.
That smile that the scribe had when her idea was validated was so real. I think I love the scribe.
