Thanks! Front lip is from NW Carbon Haus - its their V3 lip. Check out their website nwcarbonhaus.com and you'll see my former Portimao Blue G80 with the same lip.
IIRC, the auto cars have an extra cooler so the bottom plastic shield doesn’t fit. So rather than, you know make a different one, BMW was like “eff it, it’ll be fine”.
@@accelerated_motion i dont do lots of highway style driving here in the UK so wouldn’t really ever be driven in driving rain as it were. I was just thinking more water ingress via the intake causing a missfire during rain. Thanks for the reply! Bet they sound mega in person!
The plastic shroud where you cut for the front mounts… do you know if that’s necessary to keep? I think I would just remove them for the install. What do you think?
If you removed the entire shroud, you would have some large gaping holes all around. It would not be good with the amount of potential water, dirt, debris, etc. that would get in there. I thought about doing that too, but its a very large piece to remove. Cutting is the easiest way and still provides most protection against the elements.
I love that you went with a gloss black front grill (at least looks that way). I was thinking of going with gloss black exterior trim vs CF too.
Can’t believe you made us wait for the premiere on this one lol
jk we out here 👍
😁 hehehe gotta build some anticipation, ya know!
Great video! What front lip is that? I have a Voodoo Blue G80 Incoming. I can't wait!

Interesting. I did not know this!
Do you get much rain where you are? How do these front mounted intakes fair with wet weather?
I live in Ohio so it’s moderate. No issues with from mount intakes though. No one has ever reported an engine failure because of front mount intakes.

Are you gonna sell your active muffler ? I might be interested
I actually sold the AA exhaust awhile back. Sorry!
15:19 defo wants 2 clamps on that hose.
Yep! Project Gamma ended up sending me the remaining clamps and I went ahead and added them on. So we are good now :)
Was there a mic in the engine bay?
Nope, no mic. All exterior noise.
@@accelerated_motion wow, crazy how loud it is then when the car was far from the camera
@@SkylineR34EvoX Right! Its super loud, its intoxicating!
