There should be a recall. I was so angry. 1900 miles in, a stone hits the cooler. It starts to leak, and I nearly lose an engine. The oil comes out so quickly. How on earth did the BMW engineers allow this design to leave the factory? Isn't this vehicle advertised being driven around a track going over corners?

Not too bad of a video there is a lot of steps that shouldn’t have been done extra work. You do need two jacks don’t use an impact on the Strat tower bolt This should be 20 minute on each side. Very simple to do.

That little ‘crimp’ tool. Does it cut the original wire? If I ever wanted to go back to stock?

Is this similar to other cars with e-brakes? As in, don’t engage the parking brake before removing the brake motor? Or did you engage the e brake and then remove the motor?

I would get proper valve controllers. I changed mine and it was at least 25% louder. The oem ones don’t open fully all the time.

I recently purchased a m sport bumper on the market for cheap, I do not have the grilles and fog lights for the m sport bumper, any links I can buy them off of?

Couple of things, why take out the 4 bolts up top holding down the strut brace? I didn’t find that necessary…but I do have a RWD car. Secondly, I reached out to AST and they confirmed that the writing on the spring doesn’t make a difference, and there’s only one orientation the springs will fit.

How much lower than stock does this sit? Is the lowest part still the rubber deflector on the oil cooler?

Any wheel bearing issues after several thousand miles? I have Future Classic 15mm in front and 12mm in rear. About 7k miles on them now and I am hearing a rhythmic pattern coming from the front. Wondering if it's the bearings and if it's because of the spacers. I have no other mods.

Great content, thank you! Confident I can do the front and rear…the only problem right now is finding a set of front Redstuff pads. All sites have them on back order. 😔 Question - any sensors triggered after install that required any system resets? I have approx 3.5K miles on my G80, so plenty of pad life on stock pads.

Thanks for posting this. About to do a camber plate install and have a question. Did you remove or loosen any bolts on the lower control arms? It looked like you only removed the end link bolt on the strut to be able to maneuver the strut out. I watched another video where someone mentioned loosening the lower control arm nuts in order to get more “sag” but not sure if that’s necessary.

I've got a purple f83. My 437s are black with machined face and smoked clear. They're too dark for me and I'm torn as to whether to just go feric grey / machined or bronze. Bronze looks great but purple paint is already pretty loud, let's be serious 😂

Beware these aluminum upgrade charge pipes , tolerances are not exact and sometimes you will get a leak at the intercooler joint. I'm going back to OEM plastic one.There is a reinforced one introduced in 2019

nice. just picked up a set from ebay from the same guy. I went to scrap yards to find new handles and just busted the top halfs apart so the bottoms wouldn't get beat to sh*t. Also refinished the bottoms with paint strip/new SEM rattle cans.
