Great video and comparison. I just picked up my 2018 F80 comp (also in mineral grey but dct) on Friday. It's my first M car after coming from a modded cadillac cts-v and having driven both the g80 and the f80, I had no hesitation of going with the f80. There is something raw yet refined about the f80 that just does it for me. The g80 felt "softer" (for lack of a better word) in comparison, but no doubt it is also a great car. My f80 was 650+ miles away in the next state over, so I flew in and drove it home, and it was amazing on the ride home. Put it in "efficient" mode and I was getting 30mpg at times on the interstate, then when I wanted to have some fun, put it in sport plus and it's a completely different car. It does everything so well. In the end, it really came down to those factors and just how good it (still) looks.
Hard disagree. Stock for stock it's close. But after u lower the g80 or g82 put a front splitter. Yellow drl. The adro grille and csl just look so good on it with the right aftermarket mods. I bought the F80 zCP in mineral white brand new (my very first new car) in 2017. I still feel it has that timeless design but after hating the G8X aesthetic for over a year, I started to get FOMO. I grew to love the new design and now prefer it over the F80. It's definitely edgy and as you mention, you either love it or hate it. I finally got an allocation after waiting 9 months. Car arrived 4 months after that and traded in my F80. It's also the 50 Jahre Edition but in Lime Rock Grey with the carbon bucket seats. I paid $102K for it. I live in the Oregon with no sales tax and my local dealer had no markup on it like many others had at the time. I have no complaints. It puts the power down way better than the fishtail happy F80 and actually don't mind it at its stock height. I think the 19" wheels in front with bigger sidewall helps. Only thing I had to buy was the CF air inlets in the front and CF rear diffuser. I felt like I had to do a lot more to the F80 to be as happy as I am in my G80. It feels more premium and am digging all the modern updates. Your car looks super clean man! Cheers. -PS if you search for "bimmerpost forums The Journey to Ownership" you'll see my little writeup.
Great feedback! Always nice to hear people on both sides of the table. Glad to hear you are enjoying the g80. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t searched for one. They are incredible cars.
I got my hands on a g80 6spd and I love it! I do aspire to own one, but in reality it's too much car for me. Coming from an E36, I can have more worrie free fun and get the satisfaction of sporty driving at normal road speeds. I have to applaud BMW for making the G80. Without a doubt, the G80 is the opitome of sport sedans especially with the manual trans.
I was in the market for a G80, twice. I ended up buying an F80 M3 CS. I totaled it, and then bought another F80 M3 CS. I'll concede the G80 is for some people (S58 is fast, for sure), but certainly not for me. Too digital.
Great video! I would love to see a DCT vs Manual comparison with another F80/F82 car. The DCT gear ratios and shift speed makes it feel much faster than the manuals long gears, would love to hear your opinion.
Thanks! I’ve driven dct in both the e90 and f80. It’s a great transmission and I do feel both of those chassis, the dct was designed around it. Very fast and fun to drive. I’m just a diehard manual guy so I need to have that engagement. But I 100% understand the appeal to the dct.
@@Autofreakgarage Yeah it's a tough decision every manual driver will have to make. I seem to go back and forth, I've had lots of manual M cars and also a few DCT, I love both. My current F82 is dct and the last car was a 6mt F87, love both transmissions and I don't think you can go wrong with either. I do think that I wouldn't be able to just do dct, I still have some manual bmws to keep me satisfied while owning the dct lol
125k is a lot! It all depends on how you build it. I just ordered mine with all the carbon to include buckets, front splitter, exhaust tips, and individual Java Green for 99k. 6 speed manual with no executive or lighting package. Just depends on what all amenities you want.
@@Autofreakgarage thanks my man. I tried to option it as close too a “stripper” model as I could. No heads up, no executive package, no parking assist, and 6 speed manual. I figure I’ll do a quick email tune if I want more HP.
G80 all day every day. People hate on the front end but personally, it reminds me of a F-22 raptor. Riding down the highway and you see a G80 fly up to your rear...very intimidating street presence. F80 honestly just looks like every other bmw on the road.
The F80 scored the same time as the G80 with 100 less hp. That speaks accolades for the truer M. The G80 is very powerful though. That S58 is flawless.I prefer the grace of the F80.
The G80 grills being that large and BMW saying it’s for cooling when the G87 M2 has much smaller grills and effectively the exact same cooling system is funny to me lol
Having both a g80 and an f82cs the g80s are the better daily. But the f8x is just special and raw. Hard to explain unless you drive it. More rewarding and special feels more like a car. The g80 feels likes a special machine but you as the driver feels numb. The g80 has the luxury interior only reason why I got it as I can't stand the front end and always look at the side and the rear lol.
Can't deny the added performance of the G80. But the styling alone makes the F80 the no brainer for me. I know the G is a better peformer, but the F is far from a slouch and is an amazing experience in and of itself. I'd save a few bucks and have a much nicer car to look at.
Drove both... G82 M4 CS and F80 M3 Standard .... F80 M3 was fkn blast - the noise (why everyone complains i don't understand, it's awesome), the vibe, the feeling.... G82 was like playing playstation, absolutely disconnected emotionally imho
If you have a g80 comp with xdrive, you know it's a massive step above in every way. I like that it's a bit larger and roomier. And if you get the full leather interior with carbon buckets, it's the perfect car for me man. Since I got mine, I dont even look at other cars anymore because the ones that are better than this are too much money. lol
F80 vs G80 is basically all down to personal preference. Yes the S55 doesn't sound brilliant, but most BMW engines good, even if they don't sound as good as the other engines.
I have a m2 competition and im looking at a g82 m4 because i compared the cost to reach higher hp levels with the s55 you have to upgrade the turbos, crank hub fix and custom tune to reach the same power levels as a g80 with stock turbos and a tune.
Why not pick up a G87? I have a G82 and my wife has a G87, and arguably the G87 looks better. Underneath the looks, they are 99% the same car with the same tuning potential. Unless you want xDrive, the G87 has a much better value proposition.
Both are great to me. I like the bigger size in my g80 because I’m a taller guy, have a family and need to be able to make it comfortable for them. That being said, I am concerned about the electronics but the luxury is top notch. I love the huge screen. I want all the tech in such an expensive car. I’m also the guy that wants the m3 and sunroof. It’s about having options in my book. That being said, I refuse to go automatic. Manual all day! Now I hated the front grill at first but there is no better looking headlights in the world. The halos are gorgeous and completes the menacing look in my book. I think the front is meaner looking than the f80. Now regarding price, it’s a bit unfair to compare the jahre edition. Out the door on mine, I was less than 90. Not cheap but def not 125. That’s not the norm - I know you mentioned it but it’s just not apples to apples. Base price on a new g80 is around the 75k mark. When it came to me choosing, being honest, I just don’t trust used M cars. People don’t buy these cars to cruise and I don’t want to inherit something someone else broke. I ordered my g80 and never have to guess how it was cared for.
Absolutely. Both are fantastic options. As mentioned, it came down to my situation and what I was looking for as a second car. As the all in one, the g80 is the better choice. The example I drove, yes it was an extreme. But pricing out an individual color, carbon buckets, executive pack, carbon exterior, and a few other options I’d want, it’s still in the 6 digits for me for a comp xdrive. A rwd base can easily be had for under that, but I was driving an example I would have purchased. Maybe not the jahre edition, but definitely a comp x drive. And buying used has both pros and cons. I got my f80 used (very low miles), but it’s all about the maintenance history. If it can be backed up, I don’t have an issue purchasing used. Just need to do the homework and get a ppi done.
@@Autofreakgarage all valid. I’m surprised you’d go from a manual f80 to a comp xdrive. Even with where you’re located- I’m outside Philly, I still refuse to drive an auto sports car even as a second car. Good thing is that there’s something for everyone. I went exec pack, Dravit grey was an up charge , mdrive pro manual, lasers. Love the cf on the interior, skipped it on the exterior but dealer ended up making a mistake and ordering the cf roof instead of my sunroof. Still mad but I’d still be waiting 10 mos later lol. Point is, I was going to do the sunroof and just do black ppf up top. If I would’ve elected cf roof, then I’d want all cf parts too to match. I did get a discount so I can’t complain too much. I’m already planning for the next one lol.
I am too. Manual is always a must for me, but I really like the comp and unfortunately, no manual option. I would love to drive a manual g80 and see what I think. Dravit is definitely my top color. As well as Portimao blue. Well, the good thing is. The carbon roof cars will hold better value since most people want them over the sunroof haha.
I sold my F80 manual last fall with 65k. I just felt that in the next 10k your typical BMW gasket renewal program would be coming up, plus the crank hub and possible rod bearing replacement. On top of that, the ride would get to me at times and I my non full leather interior’s cheapness sometimes bugged me. I other stuff to drive, but now looking back into one car ideally… I think the G80 solves a lot of the issues, but I still do not like the front end and I would have to get a 22 or older to avoid that hideous display. I’ve had almost every generation of 3 series and have to say the F80 is a close 2nd to the E46 as all time best designs. My other option is a CT5V Blackwing, but that’s another $20k or so and I’d be at the gas station way more often due to the small gas tank and horrid MPG.
Great side by side Review for me I'm with you the F80 Awsum car and the looks 👌Amazing!! And the size n weight it's spesh and I love the engine bay in F80 the designers nailed it timeless n epic in years to come 👍G80 still Awsum but wished it looked more like the F80🍻
Nicely done review Scooby. I drive the G80 comp, coming from a superb M340i. And just like you said, It strikes a brilliant balance between being docile, GT like, and ferocious when you're in the mood. Looks wise, it's an acquired taste, like a fine carefully aged smelly cheese. It has a pungent, in your face quality.
Starting to see about a $10k difference in price between super clean low mileage 2018 F80s and 2021 RWD G80s. Prices should go even lower with the lease returns this year. I’ve been looking for a more apples to apples comparison with rwd cars but I think it’s almost a no brainer on the better value with the newer tech, better performance, and warranty on the newer chassis.
You are talking about a very low optioned, stripper spec g8x. They can be had for 70-80 or so now depending on miles. But a fully optioned, final year f80, low mileage, you are in the low to mid 60’s. Either way, it’s a big gap for someone considering either one of these cars. The 10-15k difference is a big jump when buying a car for most.
That side by side at the end sums it up. G might have modern tech, better engine and sound, but it looks like shit compared to the F80. The curves and lines on the F80 are just gorgeous, and I also love the old school dash/taco. He is spot on the F80 is that perfect blend of transition from old(ish) to new. I’m hoping to pick one up in the next few months. Toss up between M3 F80 or the C63s. Can’t beat the sound of the merc, but I just love the look and simplicity of the M3 and it drives way way better through those twist and turns.
Would you say the F80 is more raw and a driver's car? That's the impression I got after test driving an F82 M4 vs. G80 M3 - too much tech, numb, and way more expensive for more power.
My petty gripe is it doesn’t have a manual handbrake lol. My F80 is DCT but I always use my hand brake, been using it since my E46 and E92 just something satisfying about hearing that click. I dread the day I have to get into a car with a push button hand brake. My wife’s Q7 has one and I highly dislike it.
I’m in my 10th year of owning my 2011 335 msport xdrive which I love still- I bought with 9k miles. The f80 is good for the budget- but inferior in all ways to the g80. The f80 also especially looks outdated - it’s a weird gen as the e90 is timeless and special like a e46 but the f80 I don’t know kinda uninspiring- for me my next car for eg would be a m340 or a g80 m3 - I’ll go right to the m340 before (won’t even look at the f80 m3) why when the m340 is just as good if not better and newer
F80 looks so much better. Even with the upgraded grill, i do not like the front end of the G80. I didnt even realize that the G80s were over 100k lol 😵
Unpopular opinion here, but I do not like the adro front end. Makes the g8x’s nose look even longer than it needs to be. Also for me, I don’t like the m4 for both the f82 and g82. Rear end looks soft in comparison to the more aggressive rear fenders of the m3. Lastly… that m4 is bagged. Major points knocked off for me on that haha.
Great video, valid points. Speaking to the 2 car vs 1, would you rather have a G83 or A F83 & E93. We currently have a 16' m4 and 13' M3. Both financed and could get into a 22' f83 for around the same monthly payment. But I'm bias, to the V8, I'd take a mint E93 M3 Manual over The F8x and G8X😅 but mine is dct and far from mint condition
Facts! BMW lost its identity with the strange recent designs and their pricing strategy is insane. The dash display in the G80 looks distracting, fragile and an afterthought. New car tech is too complex.
Youre sorta comparing 2 different cars. While they share the same badges and names, one is an AWD auto and the other is a RWD manual. Would of been interesting to see a comparison of a g80 non comp and the f80 comp. Good video either way.
120K is insane. Mine is a 2023 xdrive aventurine red with carbon buckets, carbon interior, executive, lasers lights and I paid almost exactly 96 including tax and fees. This on a brand new allocation. Jahre edition makes zero sense. Individual color and a carbon fiber lip.
Absolutely was an extreme. The car was purchased over 1.5 years ago when market was even higher than it is now. But purchasing an individual color you are over the 100k mark. I can agree the special editions aren’t worth the investment, but it most certainly is to some. Plus it being the 50th year, can hold a bit more value as time passes.
Dct is pretty amazing. Honesty, the s55 was designed around the dct. But I need the engagement for me to fully enjoy a car. The manual keeps that connection for me so it was a must.
@@Autofreakgarage noted. i been looking for a weekend car so thought the f80s m4s were great value verse anything else. I been looking for m4 comp 2019 2020 but i cant find it.
One thing to mention and its not a big deal when buying cars like this is the gas mileage. The G80 with X drive, more power and heavier is more fuel efficient then the F80 by a fair amount.
F80 I am around 19-21 around town. G80 I was getting around 21-23 under the same driving scenarios. A difference, but not a huge difference overall that would warrant one over the other when comparing MPG.
G80 all around better, the difference in power is night and day not to mention looks so much better. Yesterday’s F80 is on par performance with today’s G20 M340i middle M car, that alone tells you all you need to know.
G8X. Faster, better tuning potential, you can make 800AWHP+ with stock turbo on BM3 platform !! Looks is subjective, to me G8X has modern look and more aggressive than F8X !!
f80 looks miles better the g80 is faster but not by that much and i doubt you will notice it on the streets. plus with going with the last gen youll save money and have money for mods.
Correct bud. G80 might launch better but in rollings and handling is pretty on par...G80 is heavier, bigger and the ZF gearbox just isnt as good. I almost upgraded to G80 twice now and had one to use for a week. Ended up sticking to my F80. But thats just me. The F80 is a better sports car experience and has alot more character.
Not necessarily. I was heavily considering the g80 before I got my f80. Drove both extensively and chose the f80 due to the feeling and driving experience I felt. Both great cars, but my choice didn’t come down to cost.
Looks are very subjective, so I always recommend taking that with a grain of salt. But I do agree, they both look great! Faster isn't always the answer. I think most people get too caught up in numbers these days. And as of right now, yes the S58 seems to be a more reliable motor. BUT! As mentioned in the video, it is still very early to tell. This was said about the S55 as well in the earlier years, but the crankhub issue came about as the years went by.
@@Autofreakgarage 90 and 125 are a huuuuuge difference. I agree at 125k it doesn’t make sense but in that low 90 range it’s a more compelling argument.
Both are easy to get the rear end out. The g80 has capabilities to change from AWD to most rwd with a press of a button. Big yes, but extremely easy to throw around if you want. I think the f87 m2 cs is going to be the m2 to want as the years go by.
Drove a few and enjoyed the m2. Was looking into an f87 m2 comp for a while, but for roughly around the same price, I was able to get into an f80. Which personally, I think looks better and you get a bit more for the cost. 2 extra doors and a bit more space.
@@Autofreakgarage yea they do look better. I've came to love the new m2 though. Espicially with aftermarket stuff done. Frozen black with yellow drl are the best combo u can get for the new m2 m3 and m4.
Can’t even compare these cars when the G80 punches $100K-$200K outside of its weight class. I can’t lose on the street because I’m either just faster or the guy in the super car is embarrassing himself trying to catch up or stay ahead.
Brand new base Carrera is 114. Cayman’s start at 68. Can easily get into a proper, nicely spec’d p car for under 120 brand new. Not to mention used market, you can get gts’s, gt4’s, and some higher mileage 997 gt3’s for 120 or under.
You’ll be surprised how many like the g80! I too was one of the original naysayers when they first were released. But I actually love them now. Especially after seeing them modified, it’s a beautiful car.
For a daily driver a m340i or x3 m40i is the way to go. You do not want to be changing tires on a G80 every other month for daily use. Those Michelins are only good for a month before they lose that sticky grip
Ps4’s or the pirelli’s that these come with last anywhere from 12-20k miles. Possibly more if you are conscience of tire wear. Depending on how you drive and your environment, most people, like my friend, changed out to all seasons so they can drive year round in all types of weather and last much longer than that. Tires shouldn’t be a concern when buying an m car. But I would take a g80 over an m340 any day of the week. X3 isn’t in the same category, so I don’t think many would consider it in this scenario. Although, the x3 m comp is an incredible car. But I’d still would rather a g80.
@@Autofreakgarage that car was built for performance just like the F80. My ps4s on my F82 never felt the same with grip after a couple months. Found myself driving it less and less in the rain.
Boring af to drive unfortunately..too heavy with the steering
I’ve never owned an M3 but I’ll whole heartedly agree that the F80/82 is the apex of visual beauty. BMW has never designed a more gorgeous car.
125k is a lot! It all depends on how you build it. I just ordered mine with all the carbon to include buckets, front splitter, exhaust tips, and individual Java Green for 99k. 6 speed manual with no executive or lighting package. Just depends on what all amenities you want.
Right. It all depends on the options. But after tax title and fees, you’re over 100.
Great choice in color! Java is beautiful.
@@Autofreakgarage thanks my man. I tried to option it as close too a “stripper” model as I could. No heads up, no executive package, no parking assist, and 6 speed manual. I figure I’ll do a quick email tune if I want more HP.
@vincent4226 good choice! Stripper spec’s tend to hold value quite a bit more over the years. Plus Java…it should do well. Enjoy!
Marketing at its finest.
I have an F80, and my brother also has a 23 jahre m3. So this video radiated with me well.
Agreed! The G80 is the perfect one car solution.
Can't deny the added performance of the G80. But the styling alone makes the F80 the no brainer for me. I know the G is a better peformer, but the F is far from a slouch and is an amazing experience in and of itself. I'd save a few bucks and have a much nicer car to look at.
The van around 11:50 mark sounded like it wanted some smoke. 😂 cool comparison. 👍🏿
@@vilebastage I agree lol mostly x drive but yes g87 is a huge bargain for price
That M3 interior is so crisp. Definitely a timeless, classy look. Will age very well.
my G80 is spec to my liking at $86k. still too expensive, but beats $100-110k for those that opt for the xdrive fully loaded.
Same AND I got the carbon buckets.
S58 swapped f80 would be lovely
Imagine that!!😳 and with AWD hope someone does it!! I'd do to mine but I need to win lotto 😆😂
Performance wise G80 blows F80 out of the water. I’ve owned both.
Looks wise, F80 all day. You have to do plenty to the G80 to make it presentable
Driven both, the F80 is nice but the AWD G80 is on another level.
The look of the g80 when it dropped it what made me want one I’m one of the few people who fucking loves the look of
Would you say the F80 is more raw and a driver's car? That's the impression I got after test driving an F82 M4 vs. G80 M3 - too much tech, numb, and way more expensive for more power.
Absolutely. I talk quite a bit about this in the video. But if the G80 had the carbon buckets and manual, I might have a different opinion.
Yes that is annoying as well. Couldn’t tell you how many times I parked and pressed/pull the button the wrong way to turn it on/off.
Depends on the trim, but an xdrive comp with special color you are easily over 100.
Type in these and tell me it's not the best looking m4.. "720s and m4 play in the rain" "adro g82 m4 competition blue"
It looks better with the adro, but It still looks off to me. Almost looks like a dodge charger grill
What did you mention about the tune you can get done at the dealership that doesn’t void the warranty?
Carbhan. Dealer approved tune. Keeps warranty.
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of any of the verts. I get the appeal, but they just don’t do it for me.
I get that. They are the least desirable to most . But would you trade a F80 & E90 for a G80?
Facts! BMW lost its identity with the strange recent designs and their pricing strategy is insane. The dash display in the G80 looks distracting, fragile and an afterthought. New car tech is too complex.
F80s are beautiful...but man the G80s... something about them!!!
They are incredible cars! I absolutely love them now.
Does m2 m3 m4 have same engine . 2018 to now is it same engine with fixed crank hub issue ??
Any f chassis m2 comp, m3 and m4 have the s55. all have the same crank hub issue. 2021 is the g series and has the s58 which is a different motor.
Youre sorta comparing 2 different cars. While they share the same badges and names, one is an AWD auto and the other is a RWD manual.
Would of been interesting to see a comparison of a g80 non comp and the f80 comp.
Good video either way.

Very nice cars 💯
120K is insane. Mine is a 2023 xdrive aventurine red with carbon buckets, carbon interior, executive, lasers lights and I paid almost exactly 96 including tax and fees. This on a brand new allocation. Jahre edition makes zero sense. Individual color and a carbon fiber lip.
Absolutely was an extreme. The car was purchased over 1.5 years ago when market was even higher than it is now. But purchasing an individual color you are over the 100k mark.
I can agree the special editions aren’t worth the investment, but it most certainly is to some. Plus it being the 50th year, can hold a bit more value as time passes.
what are your thoughts on dct vs manual on the f80? I currently drive manual daily which isn't an issue, but I have been curious on dct
Dct is pretty amazing. Honesty, the s55 was designed around the dct. But I need the engagement for me to fully enjoy a car. The manual keeps that connection for me so it was a must.
F80 comp or cs? Need a weekender
Do you want a Manual or dct?
@@Autofreakgarage dct
@sunnykgaming2541 I would go for the cs then since that only comes in manual.
@@Autofreakgarage noted. i been looking for a weekend car so thought the f80s m4s were great value verse anything else. I been looking for m4 comp 2019 2020 but i cant find it.
plan to get a huracan or 488 in 2026 but just have daily jeep and missing some fun
125K for the G80? Somebody got took, BMW appreciates your contribution to the bottom line.
Market was way up and it’s a limited edition. Everyone that got one of these paid that or close to it.
I've got a G87 if you want to do some comparisons....
Nice! Would love to get some seat time in a g87.
@@Autofreakgarage we can definitely set something up once I get my PPF and tint..
I daily my f80 rn
Your f80 is nice bro
The newer faster one of course.
What do you think of the new M2?
Rear end needs a revision. But otherwise good car.
@@Autofreakgarage I feel the same way but it’s growing on me when I see it lowered with a body kit
G80 all around better, the difference in power is night and day not to mention looks so much better.
Yesterday’s F80 is on par performance with today’s G20 M340i middle M car, that alone tells you all you need to know.
Bullshit…F80 and G80 RWD deliver nearly the same performance. The g80 is a heavy cow
This thing looks tough as nails man
G8X. Faster, better tuning potential, you can make 800AWHP+ with stock turbo on BM3 platform !! Looks is subjective, to me G8X has modern look and more aggressive than F8X !!
f80 looks miles better
the g80 is faster but not by that much and i doubt you will notice it on the streets.
plus with going with the last gen youll save money and have money for mods.
Trust me u will notice it. The old m4 are RWD cars. If u get the new xdrive m3 or m4 it would he night and day
Correct bud.
I know the G80 is better, I just love the F80 though
Surely the answer depends on whether you have an additional £20k lying around?
Not necessarily. I was heavily considering the g80 before I got my f80. Drove both extensively and chose the f80 due to the feeling and driving experience I felt. Both great cars, but my choice didn’t come down to cost.
Dude got ripped off for $125k. I've seen the Jahre edition sell for $20k less.
Yup he was straight robbed. Negotiation skills 0
The new one looks more interesting. The f80 looks too common . The new one is faster and would have less issues mechanically
This was said about the S55 as well in the earlier years, but the crankhub issue came about as the years went by.
that G80 dash is for a SUV or crossover. Sports car with a flat screen on the dash unsettling
It's hard to explain how much faster an amateur driver can go in the G80 in xdrive MDM mode.
It’s like putting in a cheat code.
rocking an f82, the G82 is too heavy for me as a track guy.
The G80 is faster and doesn’t have the crank hub issue but the F80 looks better so I’m going with the G80
What’s with the strange thud noise in the G80 when you change gear!? Sounds like a horrible gimmick noise through the speakers!! 👎🏻
It’s the overrun. It’s not in the speakers. Just the actual exhaust between shifts.
@@Autofreakgarage overrun on upshifts!?
@B88_f yes
@@Autofreakgarage I’m not a fan, although I’ve only heard it over videos not in person so it’s maybe better to drive
I don’t think it’s fair to compare the MSRP of this weird limited edition when talking about the G80 in general terms. Just me though.
Any xdrive comp with an individual color will be over 100k. With a normal color selected, it’s still 90’s plus tax title and fees you are over 100.
@@Autofreakgarage 90 and 125 are a huuuuuge difference. I agree at 125k it doesn’t make sense but in that low 90 range it’s a more compelling argument.
G80 all the way especially the dashboard
What is the name of the color of your f80?
Mineral grey metallic
F80 is much cooler 👌
The G80 doesnt make sense its too big to slide around unlike an F80. That being said the G87 with Xdrive is the car to have in a couple years.
Both are easy to get the rear end out. The g80 has capabilities to change from AWD to most rwd with a press of a button. Big yes, but extremely easy to throw around if you want. I think the f87 m2 cs is going to be the m2 to want as the years go by.
@@Autofreakgaragethe way u talk makes me wonder why u don't have an m2. It seems that would suit what u want best.
F80 all day long!
Can’t even compare these cars when the G80 punches $100K-$200K outside of its weight class. I can’t lose on the street because I’m either just faster or the guy in the super car is embarrassing himself trying to catch up or stay ahead.
That is a base model g80 for 120k lol non full leather and non bucket seats. Your friend got railed
G80 runs circles around the F80 from an engineering perspective - taste wise down to the individual
The M5. F90 M5. That’s my choice.
Porshe is not 120k maybe north of 150+
Brand new base Carrera is 114. Cayman’s start at 68. Can easily get into a proper, nicely spec’d p car for under 120 brand new. Not to mention used market, you can get gts’s, gt4’s, and some higher mileage 997 gt3’s for 120 or under.
Ouch 125k with no buckets or CCB on the G80…
Yeah, tough pill to swallow for sure! But, anything and everything is worth it to someone.
G80 is superior in everyway
Looks performance reliability interior
Funny. I thought I was the only one annoyed by the lack of a HVAC sync on the F80.
You’re not alone!
F80 sounds waaay better but I am one of the odd few that like the look of the g80
You’ll be surprised how many like the g80! I too was one of the original naysayers when they first were released. But I actually love them now. Especially after seeing them modified, it’s a beautiful car.
G80C for the AWD
X3 is BMWs #1 seller for a reason espcially for winter seasons depending where you located. It's got the clearance my F82 doesn't have.
F80 front grill looks more aggresive imo. Id get the G80 because its newer 😂
125k for g80, that’s crazy, you can 3 f80s and still have some money left over
G80 for me
f80 with g80 interior....done
G80 another level
G80 better motor, f80 runs away with the rest of the categories imo. S58 powered F80 is the dream…
