Honestly that really bummed me out! That was the only one of the four exercises where I don’t think I looked like a drunk walrus by the time we were 20 secs in 🤣😎 But it was a good excuse to sub the missing squats in for the last round of burpees 😈😈😈
Nice training John! I switched to the FitnessBlender 7 Minute Workout after that for a bit lower intensity as well as more varied use of muscles. I think combining them like this could be a winner. I'll do it again tomorrow. Maybe in a week, I'll try to manage 3 Rounds. Thanks, Joe!

You can try doing sprint at 100% for 30 seconds and then walk for 2 minutes. there are plenty of other ratios online, I'm not to sure if my numbers were right
Do what you can during the rounds. The most important thing is to get your heart rate up for 20 to 30 seconds straight and give it 90 to 100 percent for you, for that time. He's faster at it because he's been doing it for a while.
+Marcelo Reis Yes beginners, but still gives a beginner something to come back to. It means you can do this stage / video a few times until it becomes too easy and then you are ready for the next one.

Ok quick update 5 days in... huge dents either side of my tummy!! Toning progress! I can’t believe it, it’s a massive difference. Thank you! I will continue until I can do 5 sets and then maybe progress to a level up 😊 5* workout and so easy to fit in to a busy day.
You guys are amazing for trying your best. You will be able to go longer if you keep trying. 3 times a week should do it. I love this coach he makes me smile and laugh during the workout haha
All I can say is thank you Joe, despite you said is beginners workout it has been doing wonders to me and my husband. since we started the fat has been melting away from 212lbs to 197lbs . I recommend this workout to anybody who wants to loose weight and stay fit.
2 years ago... this was my first ever introduction to HIIT and OMG I was knackered by the end of it but also full of energy. The next day DOMS took over :D
When it got to the 4th round, I wanted to give up. Then I heard your inner UK garage mc voice saying 'burn that fat' and 'hold tight the...' Loooooool then I got the energy to continue loool
Malachi J Hainey I go to a class to do hiit, I’m a beginner. Early days I could not finish anything, I felt so unfit I thought I would vomit. 4 weeks in and I could finish, the ‘advanced’ girls used much heavier weights throughout. So whilst I was doing lunges with no weights, they had 10kilo on their back.
Haven't exercised in years for a number of reasons and I have a very sedate job. I just made the first round before I had to stop and yes I was pushing myself. I don't think unfit beginners should start here. Its a solid workout and I will return when I have done something designed for the unfit.
Thanks for sharing these videos Joe, much appreciated! It was the perfect solution during lockdown as I have put weight on and felt demotivated and these vids have really helped me lose weight. I haven’t been to the gym for over a year and watching these videos have motivated me and got me back into the swing of things. Thank you. It is also nice to see the trainer doing the exercises at the same time which makes it much easier to follow and avoids breaking up your routine when having to pause vids to watch a move again or to play catch up etc love the vids mate and keep up the good work. thank you.
It's cute that it says: "for beginners" when the well conditioned professional says how tiring it is half way through :D Can you make a video for real beginners? My father just got off the sofa and he has been walking treadmill. This will give him a stroke. There has to be proper beginners program, isn't ?
KLSeba sir this is a HIIT workout for beginners. "High intensity interval training" if someone cannot do high intensity training because they might have a stroke than they should start off with workouts that are non HIIT. more specifically they should probably be doing low intesity cardio. like walking or treadmills and bikes. once he builds up a bit of endurance and his diet and health get better then he might be able to move on to something like this in his future.
To be fair, it's supposed to be intense. This isn't exactly good exercise for people like me or your dad (I'm 23 and probably in the worst shape ever, but I'm hopeful that certain changes I've made recently will help). Soft impact, light cardio is the way to go. I prefer quadrants, imagine a plus sign on the floor or use removable tape and start moving: quadrant runs, cross hops, alternating steps. It's great because it lets people go at their own pace (both in terms of speed and variations). Certain sports can help contribute to workouts as well. Boxing has quite a few and some get the whole body involved. You may want to do more research into that (something he would enjoy).
I did this in my garden and the neighbours complained, their children pointed and laughed and passers by gave me funny looks and to cap it all I killed 3 snails by accident.
This is your garden. Are your neighbours mentally ill? Most of people are unhealthy loosers - you will be making fun of their premature fully earned deaths...
Just wanted to say a big well done an thanks. I am an NHS nurse, this week I am on leave. So at home with the kids we are live streaming and watching you. I'd already seen you on TV I think that your work outs are quality. Fingers crossed and God willing I will be a regular of this in the morning. Love the positivity and exercise and was really pleased to see my youngest son wanting to practice some of the moves later.A great idea for a difficult time.Much respect and thanks
Done this now 3 times. First 2 could make it to round 3, but now can make it to 4 rounds. Still improvements needed but for me is a go to for all round HIIT session. Joe you are a legend mate!!
Thank You 👏🏼 I'm a mum of 4 children, my youngest has just turned 1 & I can't make it to a gym as i used too so this is perfect, as i type this I can already feel the benefits! (sweaty mess! lol) I have subscribed & with your help I will be back in shape 💪🏼. No gym no excuses! Thanks again ✌🏼
I love this workout and is my go to when I can’t go to the gym or I enter into a no workout funk. Start with the warm up + 1 round, then keep building up over time until you do all 4 rounds!
Me too, about to reach the 4 rounds mark and once I can easily do that I’ll try something a little bit more advanced. However like a lot of people have said this workout seems pretty hardcore for beginners but it’s great for working your way up to 4 sets!
I love this Hiit workout! It's really hard at first but it gets better till you can really work even harder with each exercise. I don't even bother looking at other Hiit videos 👍

A couple of years ago, I used to get back from school on week days and do:

- Air Alert
- Ab Ripper X
- An hour-long run(to cool off)
- Shooting/ball handling practice
- Basketball practice with the team for ~90 minutes

- Stretching
(During the entire summer, the team practice was replaced by more cardio and weight lifting.)
Now, I study and play video games all day long, but after a while It gets boring. I think it's time to get in shape again and start playing basketball. I used to weigh 16 stone and now I'm back to 11.5!!! Thanks to the body coach for making me feel so much better about myself!! Peace and love J
Ok quick update 5 days in... huge dents either side of my tummy!! Toning progress! I can’t believe it, it’s a massive difference. Thank you! I will continue until I can do 5 sets and then maybe progress to a level up 😊 5* workout and so easy to fit in to a busy day.
I'm shattered! Wouldn't mind but I only watched the video...
Welcome to fitness with Russel Brand.
HAHHAHA
🤣🤣🤣🤣
....felt myself heavily out of breath at 8 minutes and took it off fullscreen then remembered the title said "for beginners" 💀
I only got 6 mins in n had to stop
I have to do the WHOLE thing because of online school =_= I hate PE
You got this 🙏
You guys are amazing for trying your best. You will be able to go longer if you keep trying. 3 times a week should do it. I love this coach he makes me smile and laugh during the workout haha
@@bonez2002 LOL
"Oh no, he forgot the 3rd set of power squats. Better pause the video and do them," said no one ever.
Haha I did them! I only use the beginners video because I can't do the advanced movements with my disability though. I follow this video twice 😂
All I can say is thank you Joe, despite you said is beginners workout it has been doing wonders to me and my husband. since we started the fat has been melting away from 212lbs to 197lbs . I recommend this workout to anybody who wants to loose weight and stay fit.
This is hard - Push through it though -
Progress is made when you grind through the things telling you to stop
almost had a heart attack after thinking to myself "well this looks doable".
I'll continue to do this everyday until it actually is.
really a heart attak did it heart?
@@JBJ-Jim I was exaggerating, it's fine really
2 years ago... this was my first ever introduction to HIIT and OMG I was knackered by the end of it but also full of energy. The next day DOMS took over :D
When it got to the 4th round, I wanted to give up. Then I heard your inner UK garage mc voice saying 'burn that fat' and 'hold tight the...' Loooooool then I got the energy to continue loool
Miss MA Tell me more about the inner UK garage mc voice
this video filled me with horror. seriously this can't be for beginners
Take longer breaks in between it helps!
Fail until you don't
If this was beginners, then what will advanced look like?
Malachi J Hainey I go to a class to do hiit, I’m a beginner. Early days I could not finish anything, I felt so unfit I thought I would vomit. 4 weeks in and I could finish, the ‘advanced’ girls used much heavier weights throughout. So whilst I was doing lunges with no weights, they had 10kilo on their back.
Haven't exercised in years for a number of reasons and I have a very sedate job. I just made the first round before I had to stop and yes I was pushing myself. I don't think unfit beginners should start here. Its a solid workout and I will return when I have done something designed for the unfit.
woahhh i just did 4 rounds consistently! i remember when i could just barely do 2 before feeling like i was going to die
d[^_^]b awesome job bro! How long did it take you to be able to complete all 4?
3 weeks :) I did this 5 times a week.
Did you started to see changes already on your body in those 3 weeks?
Good job mate, after 2 years I bet you’re doing better now! 😄
Hasn't anybody noticed he forgets the power squats in round 3??? ...
Always felt something was being skipped since starting 3 months ago (on and off). Just confirmed it today!
yep, don't mind though
I jst notice that😅😁
i just pause video fit in the exercise and play on right after
Truth told I don't care by round 3 if he skips it or not
Honestly I like your accents so much. It is friendly and really motivated. I cant even focus on the workout without your voice
This was when a legendary journey began, little did he know in 5 years he'd become world famous
We watched this video in out PE lesson, someone started crying and another girl almost fainted😂😁
Manuj Madan no😂we did the workout as well
Katy's Life what a cool idea for a PE lesson! My PE class always just played dumb team games 😞
everyone in my class died. we stopped after round two 😂
This comment just made my day! Lmao!
Bloke's quite the sweetcake, so no shame about the fainting. :P
Thanks for sharing these videos Joe, much appreciated! It was the perfect solution during lockdown as I have put weight on and felt demotivated and these vids have really helped me lose weight. I haven’t been to the gym for over a year and watching these videos have motivated me and got me back into the swing of things. Thank you.
It is also nice to see the trainer doing the exercises at the same time which makes it much easier to follow and avoids breaking up your routine when having to pause vids to watch a move again or to play catch up etc love the vids mate and keep up the good work. thank you.
It's cute that it says: "for beginners" when the well conditioned professional says how tiring it is half way through :D
Can you make a video for real beginners? My father just got off the sofa and he has been walking treadmill. This will give him a stroke. There has to be proper beginners program, isn't ?
I know. I have been trying to get my dad moving but this put fear of death in his heart.
Hahahaha!!!!!! Youre so funny!!!
This is your garden. Are your neighbours mentally ill? Most of people are unhealthy loosers - you will be making fun of their premature fully earned deaths...
Oh nooo
Mark McMarkface 😂
Just wanted to say a big well done an thanks. I am an NHS nurse, this week I am on leave. So at home with the kids we are live streaming and watching you. I'd already seen you on TV I think that your work outs are quality. Fingers crossed and God willing I will be a regular of this in the morning. Love the positivity and exercise and was really pleased to see my youngest son wanting to practice some of the moves later.A great idea for a difficult time.Much respect and thanks
"I love burpies"
19:57 You like farties too
15:42 🙈
I was freaked out
Started cramping in the warmup!! Got through it & completed it all. Not bad for a chubster already past the half century mark
Not bad ;)
Done this now 3 times. First 2 could make it to round 3, but now can make it to 4 rounds. Still improvements needed but for me is a go to for all round HIIT session. Joe you are a legend mate!!
So happy to find this! I’m a big fan already.
If this is for beginners... What is advanced like :| ?!
this workout has a 1:1 work:rest ratio.Advanced would be a workout with a 2:1 ratio at least
Er
There is no such thing as beginners with HIIT, Go Hard or Go Home lol
1 minute on 30 seconds rest
Jessica Burling Advanced is running trough Chernobyl after the workout
Thank You 👏🏼 I'm a mum of 4 children, my youngest has just turned 1 & I can't make it to a gym as i used too so this is perfect, as i type this I can already feel the benefits! (sweaty mess! lol) I have subscribed & with your help I will be back in shape 💪🏼. No gym no excuses! Thanks again ✌🏼
Shut up
It's highly impossible to do a pressup for beginners, but doing a bit daily followed by right technique can do wonders.

Are you serious ?

I love this workout and is my go to when I can’t go to the gym or I enter into a no workout funk. Start with the warm up
+ 1 round, then keep building up over time until you do all 4 rounds!
Me too, about to reach the 4 rounds mark and once I can easily do that I’ll try something a little bit more advanced. However like a lot of people have said this workout seems pretty hardcore for beginners but it’s great for working your way up to 4 sets!
I did this for a couple of weeks 5 days a week and everyone noticed that I lost weight
That's awesome
COOL
Thank you Joe! I've lost 4 pounds so far in 1 week :)
It's so good to find a HIIT workout video that doesn't have dance music on it!

I love this Hiit workout! It's really hard at first but it gets better till you can really work even harder with each exercise. I don't even bother looking at other Hiit videos 👍
