- Hey everyone, Kaitlyns finally home, and we got to take the new Toyota 4runner overland rig out on its test run. We hit the trails in bull dog canyon AZ to see what this rig is capable off. We felt like we got a good grasp on what it can do and we can only keep pushing it harder and harder from here on out. Hope you all enjoy, we sure did!

The 4Runner is unstoppable ! Love the view at 12:17. Also, the engine knocking sound effect was most excellent !

Good morning John! Yeah it's a rig that definitely test your limits, more of a full time camping set up then living but we're going to make it work. It's all about the experience and pushing one self. And just doing what I'd hope someone would do for me on the trail. Thanks for watching!

Thank you, Well it's alot more fun, mobile/nimble. Only thing negative is you don't have the creature comforts which is fine as long as the weather is good, but once it's raining I'm sure I'll miss the truck camper. Other then that, this one wins for adventures. Its just a different lifestyle that will take some getting use to, then I'm sure I won't miss the truck camper at all.
Ahh my old stomping grounds! I went on some of my first off roading adventures on the trails just north and east of Mesa, AZ. Bulldog Canyon was a fav. It was so close to town yet you felt so lost and remote. The off-road group that I was with, used to hold an annual night run down Bulldog Canyon in the summer months on a night when there was a full moon. I plan on making my way back out there sometime in the near future.
Nice yeah I grew up at the foot of those mountains, I used to ride out there before it even became bull dog canyon. There wasn't any one else around ever. The good ole days!
