Mate with those polished bolts in the wings you could really do with chrome bonnet lifters! Great upgrade so your hood catch isn't in the way anymore and it looks so nice. If you wanna see how it's installed or how it looks I got a vid up on my channel showing how I did it. They're only like 30 pounds probably from heritage. How much did those polished bolts for the wings set you back roughly?
Heard that was a really good swap. Only thing now it all the 16v and vrs are starting to get silly on prices meanwhile 8vs are cheap as chips and you can supercharge them to get about 180hp. Might be my route
@@Project7YT personally I’d go 20v or possibly even pd130 after seeing one make massive power other week it won’t matter with how it looks mate it’s pristine 🙌
I see why u need the mk3 subframe now for some reason I thought you had a beast of a motor in already .what engine you thinking of I'm currently doing 3.2 vr6 conversion in a passat b3
@@Project7YT really I thought it would have been other way round I basically broke a tt I'm even using dash and all heater matrix system under the dash seats the lot will take some modding but I'm determined and my buddy is a genius with the wiring looms

It's worth considering, only thing is there's no red in the interior
I usually do them style bushes with a hacksaw/ripsaw Lewis 1 cut usually more than enough they just fall out save the need to mash them out
I was going to then thwy came out easy with a hammer so I just sent it

16V ABF swap from the mk 3 maybe? Lighter than the Vr6, almost as strong. can easy make 600 as well later on...
16vs aren't cheap and not easy to come across parts as long as I'm 150-200hp I'd be happy
Hi, 2L ABF with KR 16 v head with k-jetronic was amazing fun + very quick !? But there are so many other combinations and faster lumps now 🤔
Exacrly what mine ran back in day with kr cams 165bhp and 200lb ft unbelievable for being set up with an old style co2 reader by myself

@Benharcombe 20v has been done to death, it is a great swap for power and tunability but I want to be a bit different

I want to do 3.2 but expensive. I was considering an 8v supercharged build, costs a fraction of the price

No the 3.2s are about 3/4 grand for a swap. An 8v is about £350 and maybe a thousand in parts and maintenance
