@@CamJFN_YT as they're split rims, well any impressioned rim edge, you can polish them with some 240 wet n dry to get the paint off and up to 2000 grit to polish off, by hand, it can even be done with tyres on just scuff out into the tyre edge won't harm
All the way from here in SA really enjoy your content. Twin head lights looks good. I dont know but on camera the bumper the side with out the reflect looks better then the with it.
When sanding work of this type, always apply silicone remover to the sanding fleece. It works great and is degreased at the same time. Mfg OCWX Germany
@@Project7YT the whole pedal is 30 Euros on Volkswagen Classic Parts website, you should actually find that cars over 10-20+ years old parts are very cheap to buy stock original if still available
Defo get rid of the rear crystals, keep the quads for front and just an idea, thought about the chrome clock rings to tie in with the chrome dials? I had put some red LEDs in my headlights but never got around to installing, then smashed a glass. Also, came across a guy on YT who has multicoloured LEDs over the cluster that's controlled by an app. I tried to figure it out but failed. Same with the heater controls, from blue to red but figuring out power all LEDs and resistance is a blag 😂
You know those black trash bags some spray glue cut to size and tint is done :P Licence plates in Denmark are for unknown reasons made by brain surgeons 130 ish gbp for a set but that is only for the plates, with handling fees 170 gbp. And if you decide to not drive the car for a while to save road tax as an example, you have to give them back and buy a new set when you want to drive again. A set of custom ones though only cost about 1000 gbp
can you tell me what type of leds u used for the cluster.. im currently trying to figure that out for my own. found an old forum post saying b8.3d and is that the same for all the bulbs in in the cluster?
I'd do some research before buying but I think they're T3 bulbs. I bought them about 3 /4 years ago so I can't quite remember. I just 2 at the too, in terms of warning lights I think they're the same I'm not 100% though
I found when i tried the green bulbs for the lights i bought for my vr6 it didnt change anything so i never got to use the light took them back out for vr6 hella smoked then later out again for hella all reds which are out again 😅
Curious how licence plates work in UK. In Canada, you have to get them from our transportation services. How are you able to get them off eBay and still have them be legal?
The license plate is registered to the vehicle, as long as the plate complies with the law: White at front Yellow at back Original font Spacing of the letters And a postcode and BSAU stamp to confirm all of that you'll be all good

I’d of gone high polished silver on the callipers. The contrast against the black wheels would have made it pop giving an OEM plus style of finish.
Not a bad idea, I'm not staying black wheels though ans I wanted to Tey something different
I really like the affordable concept! 👍 I prefer the diy smoked rear lights and the diy headlights come to that a bit more subtle

Oh strange
I tried green LED bulbs and it didn’t work, it was still shining red. Tried a regular incandescent type bulb and it worked, nice and orange / amber.
