      Yea it would probably work with different infill patterns too!

    My printhead was loose, I turned the eccentric nut, didn’t fix it, so I had to take the carriage off and physically bend the sheet metal for it to tighten enough. Now it’s really tight with zero wiggle. However I then noticed that my Z rod is damaged so my prints don’t have that high quality surface finish. I’ve ordered the parts for a Belt Z, but probably need to get a new hotend to be able to print the parts for the Belted Z mod

      Wow that’s a lot of printer struggles! I found my eccentric but could not tighten in one case I had to replace the roller wheel. I hope you get your printer figured out!

      @@DesktopInventions the longer I have my ender, the more problems arise, starting to think I should’ve gone for a Prusa instead

      @DesktopInventions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup I've not owned a Prusa before but I'm guessing an ender 3 ages like milk (without maintenance) and a Prusa ages more like fine wine 😂

    you could've bent your z axis rod then tried that lol

    • @DesktopInventions
      @DesktopInventions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha that would be pretty ballsy, assuming I could bend it back!

      @@DesktopInventions yeah I'm not sure how you'd "fix" something like that without just buying a whole new rod. Thanks for all your testing though!
