After season 5 and all the timeline changes, Thawne changed from being calm, calculating, and manipulative to unhinged and erratic. He couldn't really kill the flash the first 5 seasons because that would fuck things up for him, but now his timeline is so fucked that he can't even die.

I wish the actor gets to be the reverse flash in the DCEU. Tom is just too good for this show. Imagine what he could accomplish when he is working with better writers. I know the DCEU isn’t great either but it’s better than the CW.

The suits are absolutely terrible. I absolutely hate the new flash and reverse flash suits. They don't look good in live-action. I would have much preferred if the suits would have stayed the same or similar to the season 4 suit. As for the story. The story is absolutely horrible and is filled with inconsistencies. Season 1-2 fine the story is okay but every other season has problems. For example in season 3. Well first of all Barry saving Nora ruins his entire arch and character development of season 1. This is also a problem with season 2 but still. In season 1 Barry supposedly learned that he has to remain responsible for his actions and not abuse his powers. He also learned to accept the death of Nora by letting her die in season 1. But no the writers decided for all of that to be taken away just because they wanted to recreate a famous storyline from the comics. Savitar could easily have won due to the team's stupidity. After HR sacrifices himself and the newspaper gets changed then Savitar could just immediately return to starlabs and kill Iris before anyone even knows he was there. Also, there was no way that killer frost could have frozen the Black Flash. Therefore Savitar would have died. Also, why can't the speed force send Time Wraiths? Or something against a speedster messing with time. If the speedforce can't deal with one non-speedster then why the hell doesn't the timeline change all the time? Also, HR shouldn't have died. Iris could have 2 opportunities. Remember that Argus base with dominator tech? That building has building-wide metahuman dampeners. THEY KNOWINGLY ESTABLISHED THIS INTO THE SHOW AND DIDN'T THINK TO HIDE IRIS IN THERE. Savitar is just a metahuman. Not a god. If he tries to enter the building then Argus can arrest Savitar until the paradox reaches him. Even if for some reason the director (WHO IS FRIENDS WITH BARRY AND LITERALLY GIVES HIM A PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY WHICH SHE SAID "Wars are fought over this technology") then Barry could send Iris to Earth 2 (or a random Earth). Then bring Iris to a flight over the Pacific Ocean. Savitar can't fly and there is barely any building to climb to reach a plane. So Iris just has to sit on a flight until Savitar's paradox catches up with him Season 4. Barry should have never been arrested. It logically doesn't make sense for Barry THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE to not flee his apartment. If he flees then he will have an alibi at Joe's house. Or even better JUST MOVE THE BODY AND CLEAN UP THE BLOOD. No evidence = no conviction. Therefore the thinker fails. It doesn't even make sense why the thinker does this? Is it to delay the flash? But the flash hasn't done anything to hinder the thinker's plan. Sure Barry knew the thinker's identity but the thinker didn't do anything while Barry was in prison. The only thing he did is steal the powers from the prisoners. But he could have done that without framing Barry which brings attention to your wife and your home. Also, don't get me started on Iris. SHE IS A HORRIBLE LEADER. It makes no sense in the story why she would take on a leadership role. Barry literally made Cisco the leader. Iris has no right to just take leadership over a team of scientists and metahumans. She is just a reporter. At the very most she could be a supportive character providing moral and information support. The leader should be Cisco or Caitlin since they are both experience scientists/engineers. They both worked on a team to build the particle accelerator. Both are metahumans as well and have combat experience therefore they could probably coordinate Barry better. Season 5. There is a scene where Barry teaches Nora and he does a terrible job at it. HOW? HE HAS LITERALLY TRAINED 2 OTHER SPEEDSTERS AND MULTIPLE OTHER METAHUMANS. HE KEEPS ON LEARNING THE SAME LESSONS AFTER SEASON 1 BECAUSE THE WRITERS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Now I'm about to talk about the stupidest part of the story. So Barry finds out that Nora was working with Thawne. So obviously Barry sends Nora back. Then Iris does something she would never do. THAWNE LITERALLY KILLED HER EX-FIANCE AND BARRY'S MOTHER. Not to mention the number of innocent people She claims "hE iS oN dEaTh rOw, HoW iS sHe MaNiPuLaTiNg NoRa?" Just because you're on death row doesn't mean you can't manipulate people. If anything it provides an incentive to manipulate people to escape. Now I have the second stupidest thing about this season. Iris and others get mad at Sherloque Wells for investigating Nora. THAT IS LITERALLY HIS JOB. YOU HIRED HIM TO BE AN INVESTIGATOR. DO YOU WANT HIM TO NOT INVESTIGATE A THREAT TO HIS EMPLOYERS? Season 6 is very mediocre. The first half is okay but the second half villain is just not interesting. She never even meets Barry until the final episodes. The reason why Thawne was a good villain because we and Barry had a personal connection with Thawne. None of that exists because Barry barely gets to see the villain before the final episodes. Season 7 is definitely the worst. First of all, Barry is barely even in the show. Excuses are just made up so that side characters that are unanimously hated get the spotlight. Another thing weird is that the new forces call Barry their father. The new forces were literally normal people but suddenly they call a stranger dad for no reason. Also, the speedforce made for a terrible villain. First of all the speedforce is op. It could literally kill every force before they knew what was coming. The only force that could challenge it is the still force. Also, it's weird that the speedforce still manifests as Nora. It only did that to provide confront for Barry. Now it's unnecessary. Also, the speedforce by the end is afraid to be alone? THE SPEEDFORCE IS A FORCE OF NATURE THAT LIVED SINCE THE UNIVERSE WAS CREATED. IT EXISTED BILLIONS OF YEARS IN ISOLATION. EVEN THEN IT'S A FORCE OF NATURE. FORCES OF NATURE DON'T HAVE FEELINGS. Another thing that will provide inconsistencies and make the story worse in the future is Barry calling the speedforce in the final episodes. The speedforce is proven to be the fastest thing in the universe. Whenever there is a problem Barry could just call the speedforce down. Then the speedforce could literally come and fix the problem in less than a second. You can't have any more future stakes anymore since Barry can literally call upon multiple gods to solve any problems within seconds. By the way could I just mention that the real godspeed is in ONE EPISODE. How do the writers expect to properly develop a villain in one episode. What is even dumber is that they call Thawne to help defeat godspeed. BTW can I still mention that Barry still has multiple gods at his disposal? So then they have a lightsaber fight (AT REGULAR SPEED FOR SOME REASON). Then to the surprise of no one. Thawne nearly kills godspeed. So even if we ignore Barry bringing back the man who betrayed him. Erased his future daughter out of existence. Killed his mother. If we ignore all of that. The scene after Thawne nearly kills Thawne we see Barry being way faster. THEN WHY DID WE NEED THAWNE? In the same episode it was said that godspeed was faster than Barry. So how the hell did Thawne manage to stab Godspeed? If that fight was logical then what would have happened is that godspeed would have speed stabbed Thawne and then continued fighting Barry. Also something even dumber occurs. BARRY LETS THAWNE GO FREE. THAWNE KILLED YOUR MOTHER, ERASED YOUR DAUGHTER, MADE YOUR FRIEND COMMIT SUICIDE, BETRAYED. YET YOU LET HIM GO? Barry is insane. He could easily get Thawne without any effort. Now Thawne can go into the Negative speedforce and avoid the timeline from catching up with him. Also another huge problem with this season is Jay Garrick. He shouldn't exist in this universe. He is from Earth 3. He is a doppelganger of Barry's father. He shouldn't exist. Thinking about it this entire post crisis timeline doesn't make sense. What about all of the Wells. Where did they come from? What did Zoom want? In the original timeline Zoom wanted to destroy most of the multiverse but since that doesn't exist he can't do that anymore. Speaking of the Negative speedforce. In season 8 Thawne shouldn't be at risk from getting erased. In the season 5 finally it's been confirmed that the negative speedforce prevents timeline changes from occurring. So if Thawne runs into the negative speedforce then he will be safe. The same applies to reverse flashpoint. In reverse flashpoint Barry has red lightning. So that has to mean he has access to the negative speedforce. Well first of all how isn't is anger affected by the negative speedforce? Also Thawne killing Barry as a child wouldn't affect Barry since like I said Barry is being protected by the negative speedforce. BTW where is the Black Fash? Or Time Wraiths? The speedforce still exists so it should detect the timeline changes. Sure the negative speedforce would have protected Thawne from Time Wraiths but the Black Flash is supposed to be the fastest speedster apart from the speedforce itself. I don't think Thawne would have enough time to enter the negative speedforce. We know this from Thawne's encounter with the Black Flash in the Legends of Tomorrow.

So, we see Barry leave at 1:32 to stop thawne. Keep in mind he knows that thawne is at ccpd. He doesn’t arrive until 2:53. We’ve seen in previous seasons that Barry from star labs can show up at ccpd within 5 seconds, if he’s having an off day. So that begs the question, wtf was he doing with his extra 75 seconds? Admiring iris? Getting pizza and sharing a beer with Palmer? Practicing his “I stopped your evil plan” talk in the mirror?
Yeah, I think this is one of those things up to the reader to decipher. Basically, he doesn't spend very long zapping the officers, meaning Green Arrow shows up REAL quick, and while they are "fighting", Barry is talking with his crew until he gets the message that Thawne is at CCPD. Still took him a weirdly long time to get there though
It would be cool if in the end barry helps thawne stay in the timeline but rewrites his past, while the reverse flash dies eobard thawne becomes the curator for the flash museum like in the comics
those two scenes were happening simultaneously. Barry was talking with the team while Eobard and Green Arrow were fighting. So when Barry got the alert, he just arrived in time to save Mia.

Now *Thawne* is begging Barry to save him from being erased forever, I think *Flash* should wait a little longer- toying with him and set him straight.
Thawne dramatically yelling for the Flash to show up is his smartass way of telling Barry to get his ass in gear. Basically “BRO! Put on the supersuit and get out here so I can stop messing with these people!”
I really miss him vibrating his body, voice, glowing red eyes and the yellow and black suit that's really what brought the villanous vibes of reverse flash
Imagine the absolute lack of braincells someone, anyone hero or not, has to have to think holding ***Eobard Thawne*** at gun/arrowpoint ends any other way than your own ridiculously preventable death. At best you could get him while he's distracted or mugging to Barry; but while his attention is fully *on* you? The man could cross the distance before the arrow/bullet has left its respective chamber and break every bone in your body. This on the assumption he feels like mugging, otherwise you're just instantly dead a thousand ways.
I feel like in this scenario she thought she had him and he was just letting her do it as he waited for Flash. She caught him by surprise with the leg sweep from behind but after that he would've caught any arrow she shot or done anything he wanted to her, which he proved when he pinned her to the wall. Once Flash arrived he was still the only real danger to Thawn even when she did the dumb arrow thing
What was she supposed to do. Honestly it's like you just want her to stand their and be on her phone or something. Like theres a villain in front of her obviously anyone with even half a braincell would draw their weapon.

For the people who arent fans of the new reverse flash suit. Its because they didn't make the reverse flash vibrate with the glowing red eyes in the new suit as yet which makes him look cooler, it was most likely to save budget for the cgi fight scene against despero so once we see his return we will see how he looks once he vibrates and considering they gave him a whole new suit we will definitely be seeing more of him in the near future.
For me, i just prefer how the older one looked generally, especially with the black on his hands and legs which were dope asf imo. Also i feel like this suit was made for Grant because it looked better on him than it did Tom

Superman and Lois pulled people back, and I think people generally think of Armageddon being a decent return to form. Nostalgia is 90% then there is the occasional small return to decent television that has people hoping for more.

HE KEEPS ON LEARNING THE SAME LESSONS AFTER SEASON 1 BECAUSE THE WRITERS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Now I'm about to talk about the stupidest part of the story. So Barry finds out that Nora was working with Thawne. So obviously Barry sends Nora back. Then Iris does something she would never do. THAWNE LITERALLY KILLED HER EX-FIANCE AND BARRY'S MOTHER. Not to mention the number of innocent people She claims "hE iS oN dEaTh rOw, HoW iS sHe MaNiPuLaTiNg NoRa?" Just because you're on death row doesn't mean you can't manipulate people. If anything it provides an incentive to manipulate people to escape. Now I have the second stupidest thing about this season. Iris and others get mad at Sherloque Wells for investigating Nora. THAT IS LITERALLY HIS JOB. YOU HIRED HIM TO BE AN INVESTIGATOR. DO YOU WANT HIM TO NOT INVESTIGATE A THREAT TO HIS EMPLOYERS?
Season 6 is very mediocre. The first half is okay but the second half villain is just not interesting. She never even meets Barry until the final episodes. The reason why Thawne was a good villain because we and Barry had a personal connection with Thawne. None of that exists because Barry barely gets to see the villain before the final episodes.
Season 7 is definitely the worst. First of all, Barry is barely even in the show. Excuses are just made up so that side characters that are unanimously hated get the spotlight. Another thing weird is that the new forces call Barry their father. The new forces were literally normal people but suddenly they call a stranger dad for no reason. Also, the speedforce made for a terrible villain. First of all the speedforce is op. It could literally kill every force before they knew what was coming. The only force that could challenge it is the still force. Also, it's weird that the speedforce still manifests as Nora. It only did that to provide confront for Barry. Now it's unnecessary. Also, the speedforce by the end is afraid to be alone? THE SPEEDFORCE IS A FORCE OF NATURE THAT LIVED SINCE THE UNIVERSE WAS CREATED. IT EXISTED BILLIONS OF YEARS IN ISOLATION. EVEN THEN IT'S A FORCE OF NATURE. FORCES OF NATURE DON'T HAVE FEELINGS. Another thing that will provide inconsistencies and make the story worse in the future is Barry calling the speedforce in the final episodes. The speedforce is proven to be the fastest thing in the universe. Whenever there is a problem Barry could just call the speedforce down. Then the speedforce could literally come and fix the problem in less than a second. You can't have any more future stakes anymore since Barry can literally call upon multiple gods to solve any problems within seconds. By the way could I just mention that the real godspeed is in ONE EPISODE. How do the writers expect to properly develop a villain in one episode. What is even dumber is that they call Thawne to help defeat godspeed. BTW can I still mention that Barry still has multiple gods at his disposal? So then they have a lightsaber fight (AT REGULAR SPEED FOR SOME REASON). Then to the surprise of no one. Thawne nearly kills godspeed. So even if we ignore Barry bringing back the man who betrayed him. Erased his future daughter out of existence. Killed his mother. If we ignore all of that. The scene after Thawne nearly kills Thawne we see Barry being way faster. THEN WHY DID WE NEED THAWNE? In the same episode it was said that godspeed was faster than Barry. So how the hell did Thawne manage to stab Godspeed? If that fight was logical then what would have happened is that godspeed would have speed stabbed Thawne and then continued fighting Barry. Also something even dumber occurs. BARRY LETS THAWNE GO FREE. THAWNE KILLED YOUR MOTHER, ERASED YOUR DAUGHTER, MADE YOUR FRIEND COMMIT SUICIDE, BETRAYED. YET YOU LET HIM GO? Barry is insane. He could easily get Thawne without any effort. Now Thawne can go into the Negative speedforce and avoid the timeline from catching up with him. Also another huge problem with this season is Jay Garrick. He shouldn't exist in this universe. He is from Earth 3. He is a doppelganger of Barry's father. He shouldn't exist. Thinking about it this entire post crisis timeline doesn't make sense. What about all of the Wells. Where did they come from? What did Zoom want? In the original timeline Zoom wanted to destroy most of the multiverse but since that doesn't exist he can't do that anymore.
Speaking of the Negative speedforce. In season 8 Thawne shouldn't be at risk from getting erased. In the season 5 finally it's been confirmed that the negative speedforce prevents timeline changes from occurring. So if Thawne runs into the negative speedforce then he will be safe. The same applies to reverse flashpoint. In reverse flashpoint Barry has red lightning. So that has to mean he has access to the negative speedforce. Well first of all how isn't is anger affected by the negative speedforce? Also Thawne killing Barry as a child wouldn't affect Barry since like I said Barry is being protected by the negative speedforce. BTW where is the Black Fash? Or Time Wraiths? The speedforce still exists so it should detect the timeline changes. Sure the negative speedforce would have protected Thawne from Time Wraiths but the Black Flash is supposed to be the fastest speedster apart from the speedforce itself. I don't think Thawne would have enough time to enter the negative speedforce. We know this from Thawne's encounter with the Black Flash in the Legends of Tomorrow.
This is more comic accurate but I like thawne’s old suit better along with him vibrating and making his eyes red, much more edgy and intimidating

We’ve seen in previous seasons that Barry from star labs can show up at ccpd within 5 seconds, if he’s having an off day. So that begs the question, wtf was he doing with his extra 75 seconds? Admiring iris? Getting pizza and sharing a beer with Palmer? Practicing his “I stopped your evil plan” talk in the mirror?

Yeah, I think this is one of those things up to the reader to decipher. Basically, he doesn't spend very long zapping the officers, meaning Green Arrow shows up REAL quick, and while they are "fighting", Barry is talking with his crew until he gets the message that Thawne is at CCPD. Still took him a weirdly long time to get there though

Imagine the absolute lack of braincells someone, anyone hero or not, has to have to think holding ***Eobard Thawne*** at gun/arrowpoint ends any other way than your own ridiculously preventable death.
At best you could get him while he's distracted or mugging to Barry; but while his attention is fully *on* you? The man could cross the distance before the arrow/bullet has left its respective chamber and break every bone in your body. This on the assumption he feels like mugging, otherwise you're just instantly dead a thousand ways.
I feel like in this scenario she thought she had him and he was just letting her do it as he waited for Flash. She caught him by surprise with the leg sweep from behind but after that he would've caught any arrow she shot or done anything he wanted to her, which he proved when he pinned her to the wall. Once Flash arrived he was still the only real danger to Thawn even when she did the dumb arrow thing
What was she supposed to do. Honestly it's like you just want her to stand their and be on her phone or something. Like theres a villain in front of her obviously anyone with even half a braincell would draw their weapon.

For the people who arent fans of the new reverse flash suit. Its because they didn't make the reverse flash vibrate with the glowing red eyes in the new suit as yet which makes him look cooler, it was most likely to save budget for the cgi fight scene against despero so once we see his return we will see how he looks once he vibrates and considering they gave him a whole new suit we will definitely be seeing more of him in the near future.
For me, i just prefer how the older one looked generally, especially with the black on his hands and legs which were dope asf imo. Also i feel like this suit was made for Grant because it looked better on him than it did Tom

Superman and Lois pulled people back, and I think people generally think of Armageddon being a decent return to form. Nostalgia is 90% then there is the occasional small return to decent television that has people hoping for more.
