My prayer today for you my friend is that if you are believing these lies the enemy is feeding you that you will no longer believe them. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He is a liar and the father of lies. His goal is to keep you bound in deception. I pray this video encourages you. Let me know which lie(s) Satan's been trying to get you to believe in the comments below.

While I agree with the lies I don't really agree with the examples.
For instance the second one would have fit better with the temptation satan gave to Eve.
The answers Jesus gave were evidence of what the temptations were.
The first one deals with trying to get things on your own without God, which people do all the time, in otherwords living by their own means and abilities instead of relying on God.
The second one is moreso about testing God, for instance some people have the mindset that it is better/easier(more convenient) to do whatever sin pleases them and then ask for forgiveness later (because God is faithful to forgive). But in the process of committing that sin, they could die or that sin could cause them to stray so far from God that they are "entangled with the world and overcome by it" so that they don't even have time to ask for forgiveness or they don't think that they have to.
lil chris tuten Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on this video. I really do appreciate it. I certainly respect your perspective. However, this is where Bible interpretation and subsequently, Bible Application becomes fuzzy. One person may interpret the text one way and someone else may interpret it another. I take it as if it was really just about people trying to get things apart from God then Satan would have just asked Jesus to turn those stones into anything. The fact that he told him to specifically turn them into bread implies that he was trying to zero in on what he perceived Jesus weakness was at that time. And I believe the example that Jesus provides for us here is that you can be extremely hungry and craving for something that you really feel like you need at that moment and still have the ability to resist. As for the second one, I think we are saying the same thing. I would equate putting God to the test with us thinking that we can do whatever we want and there won’t be any consequences. But I certainly respect if people see additional applications from this passage. Once again, thank you for sharing yours. I appreciate you.

Bull Whipz Same the devil influences people and deceive others and to cause us to doubt your faith. If you believe in your heart what Jesus did for you, that all that matters. We think we cannot give up our sin but that’s a lie the devil wants us to think. But Jesus overcame struggles, hardships and the world, in John 16:33. You are on the right path brother. “Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I went through the same issue. The power of doubt (or any evil spirit) is in us listening to their lies. John 18:18 whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. You can take authority over that lying spirit and bind him in Jesus name. However, the major key is to not listen and replace those lies with what Gods word says about faith or whatever you are struggling with. Read hebrews 11 and 12 it talks about faith and remember faith is not a feeling or something you can neccesarily lay your eyes on.. sometimes it comes down to choosing to believe and push thru. Don't quit brother! Hope this helps!
I went into a similar existential crisis not long ago. I'm relatively new to the faith, only about two years old in God(17 years in the literal sense.) God has done great good in my life recently, directing me toward hard-hitting preachers who give me what I want, the Gospel. May I direct you to Paul Washer? You may have to brace yourself, as he is very, very passionate about his sermons, but it is powerful.

Angie Allen same. I think that the most valuable one in here for me and my temptations was the second one, where it says Satan knows your weaknesses. Satan has attacked me where I was most vulnerable, and I was so weak in those particular spots that I didn’t resist. But now knowing this with clarity, I’ll be able to fight temptations better. That's something I was thinking about. I used to think Satan was just angry and jealous, but the more I thought about it the more the guy seemed absolutely crazy! He was in heaven and managed to be greedy! Like, what?!
And then he proceeds and tries to tempt his owner?! Literally tempt someone who is endless and eternal! Someone that was literally everywhere and when at the same time!
I think he's so evil and corrupt that all his being, all his strenght and desires long for evil, all his logic and cleverness are pure evil, with no other desire but destruction! He's become the most miserable, crazed and pitiful thing to ever exist, together with those who willingly oppose the Lord.

The temptations are everywhere and available to all. Recognize those temptations and turn to God.

In the Bible it says people perish for their lack of knowledge, follow Jesus and be born again.

Our prayers will not work for you if you do not believe it will change you. Do something that will keep you busy, try to keep your mind off of it, remind yourself that it is a sin, and know the consequences of doing it.
Pray to God to cleanse your soul and your body of you bad habits, go into detail.
The enemy is trying to manipulate my character and have me believe that i’m this and i’m that and put thoughts in my mind when im not and trying to have me turn to him but I will not by the Name of Jesus !!

What the Devil tried to do is to trip Jesus up and to trick Him as well, but Jesus did not fall for it, instead He put Scriptures on the Devil and that is what we as believers need to do.

It's so true that he tempts us in our weak moments. When I fast, he tempts me with every food I every tasted
It's amazing how even foods you don't normally care much for seem so tempting during a fast!
@@thebeatagp You know it! But the great thing about it is that it keeps him from tempting me with other means. I try to fast when I feel that I'm being tempted on the same sin too consistently. I feel God always grants me better understanding of Scripture when I do

I just finished part 2. I really thought that I had a better understanding of the lies that are told to us by the devil but I guess I was wrong, especially the part about God reaching a limit of dealing with our insubordination and saying hes done. I struggle with feeling lonely, and I struggle with wanting to feel accepted, as well as many struggles with the flesh. I stood in awe of real Christians. I wanted their happiness. Their freedom, and definitely their faith in being saved. I believed that they held onto a secret that I had to somehow figure out. I wanted to be closer to God but it seemed like the more I sought, the further I got. Rinse and repeat. I need videos like these, shared by people who struggle the same way I do. God Bless this channel, the people who watch it, and Glory to God. His arms are wide.

Everytime I'm tempted I think how would I feel after I'm done. The temptation makes you feel like you will feel good if you do it but really it makes you feel terrible after.

We are being overwhelmed by evil, it's consuming so many people and is crushing my soul, I feel unwavering despair.
I struggle with emotional eating, but whenever I strengthen my relationship with God, i'm much less prone to it. So everyone struggling with this there is hope. Just pray everyday and before meals.

I do not however believe Jesus would have said that because I am a muslim and we velieve that no prophets were sinners! But ypur bible(s) depict the prophets aa immoral people, no wonder Jesus looks so good to you compares to then when Lot slept with his own daughter, David apparently killed someone to steal his wife, Suleman had over 3000 concubines and Jesus (who is god according to the Christian's) ordered moses soldiers to kill thousands of women and children according to the OT.

I believe you have a right to make an informed decision, and in order to do that, you have to have an understanding of both Theism and Atheism... as such, I will present to you the things that drew me out of Christianity and into skepticism.
The best advice I was ever given was to "Question everything! ... ... ... ***EVERYTHING*** " ... this was great advice because it gets you in the habit of making sure your decisions are properly informed. With that said...
If you know something, you should also know what reasons make you so certain, otherwise there's really no point in saying that you know. It also helps to have clear definitions, so here are a few suggestions...
Truth
Christian Definition: The word of God
Secular Definition: That which is in accordance with reality
Evidence: That which demonstrates a position or a phenomenon
Faith
Christian Definition: The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
Secular Definition: The medium which permits belief without evidence
Belief: The acceptance of a position or phenomenon as truth.
Delusion: A belief which conflicts with reality.
Its for this reason that faith is not seen by atheists as a noble trait, and also why arguments which appeal to faith typically just get dismissed.
Either way, I do agree with Christians in that "The Truth will stand the test of time"

It’s a normal part of your faith journey. It happened to me when I was around your age and I overcame it easily. Their just thoughts planted in your head by the enemy. Remember the god of the Bible is the only god and he loves you very much. :)

Why do people believe that once saved, always saved??? I’ve noticed that people who subscribe to this, think they can sin indiscriminately WITHOUT consequences.
True I believe that. The bible does not support Saved By Grace.
People believe it because it's truth. Those who claim to believe this, yet feel that they can sin all they want to without consequences, aren't really saved. God's sheep hear His voice and 'follow' Him. This isn't to say that real Christians don't fall short, because we do. However, we don't do so purposefully & maliciously, in an effort to live according to our flesh. And when we do, we repent and get back onto the godly path.
Reference verses: John 6:39, John 10:28
We are saved by grace through faith. John the Baptist came to set the paths straight. Through repentance. Without turning away from sin, the Bible says we trample on the Blood of the Sacrifice that was made complete with Jesus Christ.
“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”
Hebrews 10:26-27 NIV
Me Simply ; I believe you and I are on the same page. The KEY to what you said was “those people aren’t really saved”. Following Jesus Christ is what some people CHOOSE NOT to do. I support the things you said. Jesus Christ is Lord.
@@johnjohnnr2325 Hebrews 10:26-27 speaks to those who hear/understand the message of God (the knowledge of truth) and refuse to repent/give their lives to Him (they're lovers of the world). You can find these types in the church every time it opens, yet when they leave, they are right back to living for self. Apostates.
John 13:27 (KJV) And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
Are you separating "Satan" from "the Devil"?
In this situation, Satan comes as a devil, one out of money and takes possession of Judas. That isn't de Satan as a person, the leader of the devils. At least, that is how I always read it.

Thats true, but we can make a difference between A devil (opposite of angel) and THE devil (Satan). When Satan enters, it could very well mean that he sent A devil into Judas. I'm not sure though, tonight I'll look up the Greek.
If not, it's still not Satan like in the other 3 examples, it does not say something about how Satan acted or anything, just that he possessed Judas. Possession is something that occurs multiple times in the Bible.

That last one gets me so often. My desire for marriage is so hard to trust God with even though other needs have been met. I honestly doubt sometimes that it’ll ever happen and it’s really frustrating and makes it harder than any other thing I’ve trusted him for.

I came this message today the 21 of February while listening and watching yur videos on this day i started a 40 days of fasting and prayer and it not a coincidence for me to see this there's a message in it for me,,,thank you for allowing God to ues you to explain the bible because many of us read anf and still haven't got the understanding 🙏🙏🙏Thank you thank you i can understand and the scripture by you explaining it much easier 🙏🙏
