The holy spirit so ever majestically flowed inside this man, Naturally people caught notice and became a fan. Students began showing up from every mold, When they heard his words their hearts were sold. Wicked men put a price on Jesus's head, He was wanted alive or dead. Despite this he and his disciples continued their teachings, Where on occasion they endured terrible beatings. One of the twelve apostles turned to black, No longer having Jesus's back. Judas Iscariot had done Satan's bidding, And it is in hell where he now is sitting. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our shortcoming, However don't be saddened for if you believe in him you will see him at your homecoming. There he sits at the right hand of God's throne, Being the voice of truth and love that we all have known. Wobbling on the edge of utter desolation, Where thoughts of death become a fascination. I take a step backwards and continue to sway, Is this the final hand that I will play? While what lays behind me is probably eternal rest, Is this decision the very best? Death is certain and that much I know, However there is still life in me left to flow. Perhaps this anguish can evolve, Maybe this question isn't impossible to solve. If I pay a visit to the abyss, There are so many things here that I will miss. Some things good and some things bad, Joyful events and those which are sad. When will this perspective shift? I desperately need my spirits to lift. I look in the mirror and remember every scar, The result of my despair I need not look far. Thoughts race through me, shackles tighten, I scream and then peculiarly my sense of awareness begins to heighten. A new thought washes through my being, I take a second glance in the mirror unsure of what I'm seeing. The burden within me feels far lighter, A winning result for this righteous fighter. The ground stops shaking and I gain some composure, Taking a step towards what was once an enclosure. Shadows fade away revealing what they left in the dark, Being pulled forward my soul begins to embark.

@@messengermusic489 hi there! Because we are human no one can be stain free, it is impossible. We sin every day even in small ways. But when Jesus said no one can get to the father but through me, he also means that when we repent and follow Jesus, and bring our sins to him, we are made clean and new again, without stain. No one can achieve this without Jesus our savior. I hope this helps!

When people say "The universe" instead of God, it's like nails on a chalkboard for me. They refuse to acknowledge God, but they'll put their faith in the planrts and stars.
Omg I experienced that foolishness before. I was supposed to go on a date with a guy but, after I heard him say, "yes, the universe" when I mentioned GOD The Most High. I canceled that date and thanked the Holy Spirit for discernment. Thank You LORD Jesus!

Me too! One day I was driving and I had something ( definitely God) come over me and show me everything I was doing was wrong! I deleted tiktok because of it, that's where I started.... that app is very evil, it really does show people witchcraft, tarot card readings, zodiac signs, and the 3rd eye! That's the one that almost got me, it was actually hard to get out of, because that is very evil. I'm very thankful God showed me that day. Praise the lord.
This is all so true. I was actually raised in a New Age church. I was never at ease with what I was learning but I thank God that he was always with me, when I came of age, I sought Jesus for myself. Jesus is the way, the only Truth and the life!!!
Dorothea Dixon...you are so correct. I don't know many organized churches that are traditional anymore. I think this has been a way of addressing the issue. Church attendance, in general, is lower than it has ever been. Attendance among millennials and men is low. I understand the Bible is what it is and not changing, but clearly, people are changing despite it. I don't know what that means for the future of churches.

I'm so glad to hear that! You have the chance to have a good life free from all of the mistakes that I made as a young man. I became a Christian in 1984 at age 22. I had fallen into some really bad things in my late teens. Just some unsolicited advice here: Always try the spirits to see if they are of the Lord; the Bible is your standard of measurement. Also, do not let the failings of others affect your faith. Sometimes, we have to stand in Jesus's strength and no one else's. People can and will let you down. God Bless

@@DTDK001 New Age has been around for lots and lots of years. There is nothing new under the sun. Old Testament God even made reference to some of the practices of others and made it clear He did not want the children of Israel to do those things. The New Age stuff leads no where. It is a distraction from the true and living God.
I recently released the New Age ... I did the New Age stuff and my life was full of stress,mental illness, anxiety .... I was in it and I heard jesus and the demons I didnt know which way to go.... but I prayed daily to God and today I am feeling more connected to Jesus more than ever. Now I feel peace in my heart, no more mental illness, I feel safe and connected, I prayed to Jesus for happiness, peace, and for commitment to Jesus, I prayed for months and now this day is here, I read the bible daily, listen to church daily, looking for a organization of other jesus followers as well . .I feel so very blessed to be able to communicate to God ... every sign he said is 100 % true I had the same belief and it's now released. Yes. I had a supernatural experience the first time I did reiki(I stopped shortly after because something didn’t feel right) I felt a thump on my bed and then head to toe tingles after I called on my “spirit guides” as they call them 😐 I can’t believe I thought it was harmless “energy healing.” Oof. The new age doctrine is very deceiving. I called myself a Christian all the while.

My favorite is, "I am spiritual, but not religious." I my experience these people are neither spiritual or religious. They have no clue what it means to be spiritual.
Well most of the time this deals with the way to Christ is honestly a narrow path and the devil has deceived many. With love we can empathize that there are many false doctrines of Jesus in the world put in place in many Churches today. There are modern day Pharisees and Sadduccies that to keep non believers away from trying to seek Him by locking them down to gain salvation through works (aka religious rituals) So that's what some talk about "I'm not religious." Spirituality really is pretty complicated to those who aren't saved.
@Jerry Schneider Not religious can easily mean someone is saved by grace and not trying to follow the law that cannot save. Religion is mans attempt at saving himself. So when I tell people I’m not religious and I believe Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead I’m not speaking out of ignorance or laziness. I’ve been to various churches and guess what, most don’t preach the gospel!!

It's possible. Just remember that all this New Age stuff is really just re-branded Paganism. Many of these specific beliefs are quite ancient. For example: a powerful energy force in nature, Universe as God, astrology, divination, the Divine within every human, etc. So it is unlikely that their presence is any kind of sign of the times. The only really new part of this stuff is Post-modern moral relativism in which anything is "true" as long as I say it is. If you ask me, that kind of thinking has the smell of sulphur to it, figuratively speaking. The Bible also refers to a time when what is good is called evil and what is evil is called good etc. That has also been happening in different ways for millenia, but seems to be becoming almost formalized these days, so who knows. All I know is that Christ said "no man shall know the day..." so we just need to live faithfully in the meantime.
@@jaicelcova2219 , It may be true that, when you burn a log, you get ashes, but the log is still destroyed in the sense that the matter and energy that were aranged to form the log are no longer forming a log. You can wax philosophical about whether or not things end, or you can go into a scientific lecture about the conservation of matter and energy, but the literal planet we live on (and therefore the creatures that live on it) will not last forever. Science and pretty much every religion agree on that. Even in Christianity, there is to be a New Heavens and New Earth, but that doesn't mean the dissolution of the old one is somehow not a big deal. You may not believe in divine revelation, but the world will literally stop existing as the world one of these days. It is a ligitimate thing to think about.

As far as Evangelicals like myself and Mr. Parr, our guide to truth is the Bible which happens to be the most well-sourced ancient text in existence and also one of the most readily available in the Western world. Unlike the Muslims who say they burned all the non-orthodox Qurans in medieval times, we can trace all the small variations in the Biblical texts back to very early days. I'm sure your answer will be extremely illuminating.
I met this woman who believes in GAIA..Mother Earth, circle drumming etc..talked to her about the Bible and she said she does not believe that. I told her I was a born again Christian but she refused to hear me. I ran from her. She suffers from heavy depression and with love in my heart told her Satan is darkness...Jesus is the Light of the world. So many lost souls. But all we can do is plant the seed. @@soulforge5849 I have to disagree. Astrology leads one away from God not closer to him. I’m fact in the Bible, God forbade it. He did not create celestial bodies for us to become attached to and feel as though they are aligned with our personalities. Astrology along with a other couple of practices is actually divination and divination is not of God.

People who says ''Truth is relative'' always contradict themselves. They will say that to you, but they want their opinions to be accepted when they post things on social media because they think they are right. A close friend of mine is like that and i'm a christian.

I can drop an apple and see with my eyes that gravity will make it fall, but I cannot do a spiritual experiment so when discussing spiritual truth it must be done in what you believe. Your spiritual truth and mine can be different because it's impossible to see a spiritual fact. It scientifically can't be done. Basically what I mean is since you can't prove your truth and I can't prove my truth were both right until we die and see what's on the other side
@@gage6242 With the spiritual truths, not being able to 100% prove them doesn't make them both true. Only one view is true while the others are false, even if it's impossible to know on earth which one is true.
I recently had my gallbladder removed. Some of my friends said they would pray for me. These prayers were much appreciated! Others said they were sending "healing energy." What is healing energy and, more importantly, where does it come from? I thank God for giving me all the graces I needed. The surgery was a success and I feel so much better!
Years ago before I was a follower of Christ I used to be very interested in zodiac signs and now I have a very hard time not assuming certain things about people because of it. Its almost a subconscious thing I do.

I’ll pray for you to have deliverance of this satanic knowledge too and that the more we read the Word, pray to Him, know Jesus as truth: we can unlearn it! @@Dora-mp1 I have the same issue as the lady in this comment and no it's not just your sun sign that determines your characteristics lol. I have a hard time not checking peoples natal charts... Moon sign Rising sign houses...etc. It can get addictive getting to know someones sun sign moon sign and rising sign and making assumptions based on that. I struggle with this. I come from a Christain family and I identify as a Christain but this is hard for me. And watching tarot card readings on TH-cam too. I like giving stars..numbers...crystals meanings which is really not good biblically. Idk why I am into it but I am. I struggle with anxiety and depression too btw. 😞
My solution was to just remember how inconsistent that stuff is and how many exceptions there are to every rule it has, thus even within its own continuity it's not accurate, and therefor people couldn't be defined by their sign even if it was true. Lies are lies, and they will always fall apart under scrutiny.

This is exactly whats happening for me right now! I went to a christian workshop last Saturday and I know a few of the ladies there from different churches including my own. A lady, not from a church, but who has her own healing ministry was teaching us all a few relaxation methods. Then it went a bit weird as she had us sit in groups of 3 and (in our imaginations) take our fellow sisters to the throneroom of God to pray for blessings for her (not too much of a problem with that) but then she said we should wait and see if God tells us a message for them and also to ask for a piece of jewelry from Him...THAT I have a problem with! Background on me, Ive always been into new age from a very early age but 3 years ago I was having a 3 day panic attack and out of nowhere I dropped to my knees and cried out to Jesus(weird as my whole fam are atheist) to take it away...and He did! In that second! Also I was having seizures and they stopped too, tho I didnt realise that so much because I didnt have them weekly. However, THIS Saturday night I had a seizure after 3 years of none and after being involved in (what I consider) new age practices that very day. I approached my friend and told her of my concerns, she feels receiving messages when you are only asking God or Jesus for the info is ok 😢 I cant explain it any clearer. There is NO such thing as a christian psychic "receiving mesaages" from the spirit realm! I cant do any more but Im concerned as she is also leading all hose other women astray....may God have mercy on her xx

Lots of these are tried and true practices with actual evidence to back them up. The Hindu religion, while I don’t follow it, is based on the practices of Buddha who reached enlightenment (or nirvana) through these spiritual practices. The third eye (pineal gland) exists and it has been scientifically studied and linked to these spiritual practices. It secretes natural DMT which is released upon birth and death and DMT (which is the active ingredient in ayahuasca) has been used in many shamanic practices for a reason: because of its capacity to spiritually awaken the user. The chakras are also linked to the other glands in the body (pineal or 3rd eye being one of them) and aligning them through healthy lifestyle correlates directly to these glands and further contributes to spiritual enlightenment. You follow a religion based out of fear of the unknown and relying on an external force (god) to solve all of your problems rather than looking within yourself to solve those problems. That’s what meditation is all about and it has had proven benefits and healing properties for as long as humans have been around. Astral travel has also been proven and I know many who have achieved it. As well as lucid dreams. It’s as simple as doing your research, and if maybe if you and all of the other followers on here kept an open mind and didn’t blindly follow a text without questioning it, then maybe you would understand why these things actually make sense.

I’m a born again believer and Christian but I’m guilty of using the term “vibes” and “energy”🙈 I don’t say “sending good vibes” but I will say that I didn’t like or that I liked someone’s energy... I guess I need to stop saying that🤦🏽♀️

Thank you for this video. I was invited to participate in a program by someone who named Bob Proctor as his mentor. I have known this man for almost 50 years and he has always claimed to be a believer. He taught that we should always be in a mindset of gratitude and even used scripture in the class. I went through the class and something just has never quite sat right with me. It felt like they regarded Napolean Hill, Wallace Wattles and other such individuals on a par with the Lord as far as wisdom. I have not been able to shake this nagging feeling in my spirit. So, I decided to do a little research. I was directed to your video. It just goes to show that the "still small voice" inside me never lies.
No dear. The Bob Proctors and Napolean Hills and similar are all about using your GOD-GIVEN abilities to deal with and maneuver this world/life. Mainly they teach about positive thought and action (basically Faith) and to NOT just sit around with negative thought, doubt, etc and no action which is basically Sinning. If after listening or reading their information and teachings makes you feel uneasy or not right then you might seriously have something else going on because all they are telling you to do is to use your gift FROM GOD (basically your mind and faith) in order to succeed and thrive in life (be it health, finances, relationships, etc). They aren't really spiritual teachers but more so Faith Applier Strategists. If you can't take anything positive and applicable from their teachings you might have something else going on that not even Jesus can save you from. A big clue/hint is your capacity of FAITH.
This was spot on being that I just came from out of this deception. One thing to add in this new age belief too is most don’t even believe in Hell, so the possibility of them heading there due to these beliefs sounds like fear and hate speech to them. It was a book that fully implanted the idea of “ serving two masters “ using the Bible verse out of context. I suppose anyone who doesn't believe that hell is real don't understand what hell is all about. This a placed that was prepared for devil & his angels/ demons. What is the best way to punish this dark kingdom other than hell? They're eternal creatures, hence hell is eternal. The devil has done a wonderful job in convincing humans that hell was prepared for us. That is devil's nature though, if everyone understood that concept they'll be saved. I don't believe someone in their right mind would reject the gospel & allow the devil to drag them to hell.

It’s just like in II Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” People don’t want to know the truth or get offended by the cross because following Jesus means to deny your flesh and everything that you’ve been doing. Not everyone wants to do that because they think this life is more important and they also believe they get another shot with reincarnation. I would just like to say as a teenager I was physically assaulted as it was happening I couldn't feel myself but I was looking down on myself...I have always thanked Jesus for that...he protected me from the pain even afterwards he protected me...all I had was a small scratch below my eye. That was the only time it happened. I'm not one to get myself in those situations just like that day....the girl was not looking for me she was looking for my aunt. God's love caring and compassion is with us each and everyday and I'd we look to this world too much to understand things we will miss out on his revealing of himself. I've been going through this same thing on and off for many years. I'm going through it now as a matter of fact. It can become so hard at times that I've even prayed to die, and it feels like you're drowning. Nonetheless, I'm still here, and so are you! I've been taught through reading the scriptures as well as prayer that we, as believers, go through seasons of hardships to test and strengthen our trust and faith in our Heavenly Father and Lord. Just because you may feel alone, you're not alone. Our Heavenly Father and Lord are with you. Just know that it will pass, and by holding onto your faith and trust you will be strengthened. The book of Job is a good book to read regarding troubles and tests of faith and trust. And reading all four Gospels~ I will keep you in my prayers! Hold fast to your faith and trust! Pray and read daily! May our Heavenly Father and Lord guide you through this season of your life!

This video is so my husband and it erks me and disrupts my spirit to the point where I start to ignore or tune out of conversations at times. He is skeptical of the bible (says that man wrote it; can't trust that it hasn't been tampered with, etc.) We've been married for 4 years and prior to us marrying I thought he was a christian, I was blind, we went through a rough patch where the 2nd year of our marriage we didn't even live in the same household, so yes folks do not be unequally yoked. We are in a good place now. Now I'm just praying God saves him, if not through me, then by someone. I may just be the person to plant a seed. @@caleb-ct5vi God still gives us free will to see what we choose for ourselves. However, he also warns us of these things in the bible and even helps us when we cone to him to try to change. He told us it was going to happen. It's on us to choose though whether we follow him or not. If you look/read deeper, there's a reason for these things.

i hardly ever write comments, however this video truly and deeply hurt me. a lot of new age things have saved me and turned my life around to be a more spiritual person and i have become a stronger believer in my faith in God. just because people like me believe in different things does not mean others “shouldn’t date us” or that we are “on our way to hell”. closed mindsets like these are the ones that have steered me away from the church for years now. i understand that you are strong in your faith, however many of the points you made about karma and vibrations showed me that you don’t fully understand what these things actually are and could have done more research before casting judgment. many new age believers like me stand for positivity, inclusivity, compassion, love, and many other good thing, never negativity. a few people out there dabble in dark things, but as with any group, the few bad people should not represent everyone as a whole. i feel like we all should take the time to learn about one another before condemning them and calling them a sinner, but that’s just my opinion.
I am glad to see your comment. I do send people positive vibes and they get them, energy does travel. I was told yesterday to stop believing in unicorns as they are mythical: that is a judgement. Unicorns are mentioned in the bible lots of times, and I have two books full of photos and journals of encounters by Robert Vavra. God is a wonderful creator, and unicorns are part of His creation.
Your comment truly resonated with me. I am currently still living in a Christian household and I have no choice but to conceal my true thoughts and emotions about the meaning of life. I am way too afraid to even question anything out loud or I could face a lot of judgment, ridule, assumptions similar to what was stated in the comments and this video. something I noticed in christianity is that people are extremely judgemental of others and their beliefs. I was raised in a conservative Christian household and I was very devoted. But along the way I started questioning what I was being taught. Not everything is black and white and theres nothing wrong with asking questions. Just because you don't share the same beliefs as someone doesn't mean you are better than them. People are so quick to discredit each other without even understanding the root of their beliefs. There is such a lack of compassion and understanding in the Christian community that it seems like all they care about is demonizing others. The goal is to bring people together and for them to learn about a loving God. Christianity has changed SO MUCH over the years, and its important to be open minded and flexible in our beliefs. And before yall start whipping out bible verses and telling me that God's word is definitive, may I remind you that slavery was defended in God's name? Luckily we moved past that but who's to say this isn't what's happening currently with the LGBTQ movement? Anyways I digress, my point is LEARN FROM EACHOTHER. Don't just shut people up when your beliefs are being questioned. TALK ABOUT IT. HAVE A DISCUSSION. DISSECT IT. Its opportunity to connect with others and learn their stories. Being defensive and dismissive won't get you anywhere.

You forgot the biggest one of all, which even I forgot but am restarting Genesis and it reminded me - the belief that YOU are God/the point of your spirituality is to become one with God/ that we are all equal to God.
That IS one of the main focal points of spirituality: to become one with the creator. The whole point of what you people call a “new age” practice such as meditation is to find the creator within to solve your problems rather than to some magical omnipotent external being that supposedly has your best interests in mind. The truth is that we are all equal to the creator and are different manifestations of it, as we all emerged from the same matter hence why we are all connected through a unified field as a collective consciousness. You follow a religion based out of fear of the unknown. Meditation has had proven benefits and healing properties for as long as humans have been around. It’s as simple as doing your research, and if maybe if you and all of the other followers on here kept an open mind and didn’t blindly follow a text without questioning it, then maybe you would understand why these things actually make sense.
Noah Oliveri the Bible says to meditate on the Word of God. It does draw you closer to Him when used correctly. There is a huge difference between meditating on your Creator and emptying your mind. Many who empty their mind do not realize they allow other spirits to fill it. We came from the dust and personally I’ve never had the spiritual, financial, physical blessings in new age that I now find under Christ. I realized trying to be one with God left me alone when it came to fighting satan , we all know evil is in this world & there has to be a Creator above it that can defeat it. New age never answered large scale evils in the world for me, but Christ did. All I did was bring every question and test it against the Bible. I encourage you to try it, some stuff may be hard to digest but when your eyes are open to the truth it changes your world. I thought I was right spiritually in new age, I was never more wrong.

Anyone else here struggle with finding “community?” I’m not a new age believer AT ALL. But I have a hard time fitting into the church building setting. Period. I just don’t understand how it benefits me (or anyone else) for us to sit in a building with strangers to listen to worship, a milky word and the head home for a feast and a nap. I’ve found preachers I enjoy listening to. Preachers that challenge me in my walk but theyre in another state and it just doesn’t seem feasible to move to another state (plus my husband isnt having that anyway.) It makes me really sad because I’ve been asking for godly friendships and Godly people to come along in my life and I don’t see anything happening or maybe I’ve rejected them? I also don’t see a whole lot of mention in the word of God when it comes to gathering in a building with strangers lol or how often we should be doing that. My community of believers is my family; mother in law, sister in law, etc, that feels natural...I can ask questions and we can hash out our thoughts, etc. I don’t get that from church. For me the church building is just another corporate business down the block with a Jesus tag attached. 🤷🏽♀️ Any wisdom and insight on this will be very helpful. Anyone else struggle with this or have strugled with this and has overcome it or is overcoming it? I believe in community but within the church building I’ve found that I’ve lost hope in finding community there.
Joanzie's Life That’s really sad that has been your experience. It sounds like you have not found the right church home for you. I go to Restoration Christian Fellowship in Colorado and I have never found true fellowship like I have at this church. We are all family and we support each other through good times and bad times. I am apart of a millennial group at my church and I’ve never received the kind of love and support at any other church. Keep looking, do not give up! The point of going to church is to surround yourself with like minded people and grow in your relationship with Christ. Fellowship and community is a huge part of God wanting us to go to church. There are church’s who care about saving souls and bringing people closer to Christ. And for those saying that church’s are businesses... well how are they going to keep the lights on or the church going. That’s why God wants us tithe and give onto to the church. You are keeping the church going so that we can continue to do the Lords work.

Honestly, the last minute almost scared me when you said that they’re on their way to hell... Probably because I’ve met some people like this and I didn’t know. I didn’t know what the New Age movement was, and I’m still in shook. I didn’t know it could be so harmful, and I now realized how sneaky it is, for I even thought that saying « I’m sending you good vibes » was harmless - I knew that astrology, tarot and things like that should be avoided, for it is demonic, but I’m shook for the rest. @DJ Even though there really is proof for Christianity. Public schools will teach you evolution but they're also starting to teach that males go on periods so I'll take evolution just as seriously as that.
@DJ Well it wasn't actually 500 years because the calendar has been changed and different cultures had different calendars back then. Some cultures used calendars where 1 month might be 2 weeks for us or 1 year was every 3-5 months and sometimes 1 day for them was really 2 days for us or a half-day so it's not 100% clear on how old they were. Yes some of it takes faith but there is a lot of evidence for the Bible being historically reliable, and the supernatural is real. Believe me I've had things happen where I'll sense a presence or hear whispering and automatically dismiss it as my imagination or the wind from the fan only to have weird stuff happen to me that night (feeling a talon grab my shoulder and a woman appearing and shaking me awake then disappearing to name a few). I've done lots of research into this even before I was having supernatural encounters.
DJ Actually, I was scared because I have the proof that God exist. I don’t believe in God only because of unjustified faith, and evolution isn’t incompatible with faith and the Creation theory. I’m very passionate about Cosmology, History and Astronomy and things like this. « At the beginning », days were not 24h- long, they were less than those - probably 12h or even shorter. This can explain how people, like Noah, could be 500 years old and had babies. Time is not a « real » things and God does not work according to human definition of time. You can study it, you will find many things. Creation and Evolution are not incompatible. Also, there are many many historical discoveries that have been made that show that the Bible is indeed a real thing, and not just faith. See the story of Gomorrah. Nowhere else on earth, you can find purer sulfur remaining than there... And, « strangely », this story is in the Bible and have no terrestrial logic. And there are also so many archeological discoveries that are ongoing that could confirm a little bit more that the Bible story ( for example, not so long ago a church, from the first century, has probably been discovered... and this church, some think, it could be the church of Peter ). The Bible also, I’d read in the Hebrew language, sometimes refer to dinosaurs and giants. I’m what we can call a scholar, i love science and knowledge, so, God knows how stubborn I am when it comes to the infos i read. I never agree as soon as I read it, I only want the truth... And, well my truth, God often destroyed it to show me His, the real Truth - and this Truth has a name: Jesus. Another thing, ask yourself those questions: how, by faith, did people back then, knew that the « Heavens » would pass away ? It has been scientifically proved that the Universe, and the Milky Way quicker, is dying. The Universe will no longer be. How did people knew that before the creation of earth, there were nothing ? How did they know that light appear first ? How did people, by faith, knew how to perfectly calculate a lunar year ? How, by faith, did the Bible knew that Africa were the cradle of mankind ? People back then couldn’t know this, even with the most intelligent person, except if this Person is the Creator Himself. The book of Enoch can also help and realize some things. And why, being of a such prideful and sinful, people would follow a God who ask them to do His will rather than theirs, if He wasn’t stronger and the real God ? It is proven, when you fear someone and someone is stronger than you, you will do His will, not yours. This is why strong Christians follow God and not other humans, because they have seen the Power of God. Also, I forgot to mention but my family is from Asia ( Indian, Chinese and Malagasy ) and I grew up in a little island in the Indian Ocean. I know a lot about Hindouism, Taoism, etc. There, I heard, with my own ears, demonic manifestations, in people, intentionally, being possessed. Those are the rituals the Bible warned us about. I was blinded by idols before. Oh, also, I had my first bible only this year ( something like 6 months ago ), so I couldn’t know back then who Jesus truly was, nor who Yahweh truly was, nor the Holy Spirit. God, Himself, opened my eyes, when I was faithless. If it wasn’t Him, I wouldn’t have been saved. And God knows how dangerous, how under demonic influences my family was. I now have faith in God, but it was not by faith that I believed first. Just as in Malachi, God came and showed me that He was The Only True God. There are so many other things I could say, but it is not my time yet to truly talk about the story of my Salvation. But I know for sure that God exists. It is not based on what humans said to me. My family is now catholic, but this is not where God is leading me. I have absolutely no rational explanation of everything that happened to me, except that it is God. Last but not least, but I’ve to say that even Einstein was a Believer. He believed in God. And he believed in the existence of black holes, when other people called him crazy. This year, we had the irrefutable proof that black holes exist. Before it’s too late, seek God.

I would use those words myself too without knowing where it's from...Universe, energy, vibes act.. but always believed in God. But strangely this vocabulary tends to diminish Gods power and blur lines as you dont know what other people believe in. I repent for my mistakes and sins. Pls God have mercy

Wow. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Christian openly say that Christians are SUPPOSED to judge other people. I’ve seen plenty of Christians do it, because they’re human beings, but I’ve never seen one openly say that. I was always raised by “Judge not, lest you be judged.” I’m not even Christian, but that’s the Biblical teaching that I will continue to try and abide by. Openly advocating for judging other people is morally wrong in my opinion, and has historically led to pretty much every single large-scale human tragedy. Just because you’re full of love and kindness (or whatever) doesn’t make you right.
These videos always serve as SOUL food for thought! I truly enjoy how you break down the word. It encourages me to search the word as and mature in various areas.
A friend of mine kept asking me to go to a psychic to get my cards read. I never believed in this, felt it was sin. After so much begging, I got upset and decided to go, but knew it was wrong. She had me ask a question in my head, not to voice it. I asked “is something causing my child to be delayed in her speech?”. But never once said it out loud. I was tense the whole time I was there. At the end, she told me “To answer your question, yes. Have her doctor look at her adenoids. She hears things as someone would under water”. I left, but felt a lot of pain in my ankle. Over the next few days, it was so swollen and the pain was horrible. I remembered it started when I was at this place. I felt the need to “pop” my ankle, but it wouldn’t. I ended up going to urgent care and was told I had bursitis. I was probably 29. I never heard of it. I looked up info and found it to be pretty odd for someone at 29 to have it, even more odd in the ankle. I did schedule my daughter an appointment and it was indeed her adenoids were so enlarged that it muffled her hearing. I would not have known to question it, I wasn’t sure what adenoids were. But, you’ll never see me getting my cards read! Never did it again and even having a son who is currently speech delayed, we will figure it out without some physic .
I love how you keep your videos all factual and educational! Good stuff! I didn’t realize I was exposed to and was beginning to adopt a lot of new age thoughts into my life until a couple of years ago. It all came about from listening to podcasts and reading self development books. Took a break from podcasts. Now I’m working on a new playlist of podcasts but I really want to be aware and have discernment on what I’m feeding myself with.
Some people are also deceived. They have some knowledge about God but, the church has maybe ran them off. They think ALL of these things but do not truly understand the Word of God and the role of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
"How do you send people good vibes?" Easy! Hmmm? How about loving your neighbor like is says in the bible? Can children "Feel" when a parent loves them?" How about body language? You can demonstrate the love that God has given you. Yes...people can feel it and it sends good vibes that people can feel.
People feel loved, not good vibes. Why not call it what it is. The bible calls it love, we know it to be love, we are commanded to love..why try to twist what scripture calls it. God himself IS love, not "vibes". So if you cant even properly identify what is feels like to be loved then how can you properly identify God himself?
Jesus said life and death lie in the power of the tongue and so if I am “sending you good energy” it basically means that I’m sending good blessings your way. Christians today seem to take certain things too deep. God also said that he wants us to prosper so if it involves something good I want it because God is the source of goodness so He is the one that all good things flow from. Something can’t be evil and good at the same time-that’s oxymoronic.
Stop giving the devil so much power and exaltation. God is the source of goodness. The plans of the devil is to kill, steal and destroy not to send us “good vibes” or blessings. So once again, if it’s good..I want it.
I was in the New Age and Jesus came to save me in dec 2020. It is def destroying you. I was like that, all about ourselves. I was a christian in name and just forgot about Christ back then. This is such an important topic! Thank you for addressing this and being so clear about it too. This is precisely the background I came from before finally giving my life to Christ. I still have friends that believe this that I’m reaching out to and trying to be a light to. And the sending good vibes or energy thing has to do with a deep-seeded belief that your body, or more like your soul, is this pure energy that vibrates at a certain frequency. It’s a metaphysical belief. So when someone says they send you their energy, it’s a lot like a prayer, but instead of communicating with God and trusting that he will act according to his will, there’s this belief that you can almost manipulate the energy or vibrations of the universe itself. So by “sending” your energy, it’s like if you imagine that you have a wave of energy literally pulsating from your body that will be specifically received by the other person and that it would be good energy. A good comparison is like if you’re in a pool and splash to create waves that will eventually reach someone in front of you, except imagine that you can control exactly where those waves will go so they don’t just spread through the whole pool. I am so glad to be a Christian now, though, because honestly, I would not want to think that I can manipulate the universe physically or metaphysically. It just seems prideful and very much like I am my own little god. I’d much rather let the real creator of the universe handle all of that and trust that he would know what’s right and good more than I ever could.

Met a new age guy that thought he was a Christian, he didn’t even read the bible because he thought he already had all the answers which is love. He thought that love was everything so he didn’t need the Bible even though he is active in the church. I ran far away. Plus be smoked weed. How can such a man lead me to God and raise a family?

5:00 Hi I live in South East Asian where there are many practices like this, this "sending energy" things. I do think that this is true, but it is very dangerous. I think it uses like yoga and definitely Tai Chi, a form of Chinese Martial Art exercise. This, if I am not wrong, is taking life force from something (or attempting to) and transferring it to yourself and maybe others. However, this is NOT of GOD. A word of warning, I would suggest that if any of you encounter someone saying he or she will "Send you good energy", I strongly suggest you pray over yourself and ask for God's covering, because that "Good Energy" may be, and quite likely is, an evil spirit... so yea just a little note for yall!

Most of it could be exaggerated but still follow the routes of the script. How would you explain the day of creation? A person shaped like a human sat on a cloud and threw his arms and there was life? Chancey? The only reason you would see god as a human is because that’s what makes most sense to you. If I see god as a power and what caused the big bang, that is my theory and it doesn’t make me a new ager. Just someone who tries to understand it all on a deeper level. It’s literally the same thing said slightly differently. Let me ask you why do you assume the “energy” being sent/channeled isn’t from God? I agree we should never see ourselves as Gods. But according to your religion as well we are all children of God. Children is the output of parents. Wouldn’t it make sense for us to have at least some qualities of God if we are Gods children? The problem w these things in general though is that we really can’t come to a right/wrong answer since we’re talking about faiths,beliefs,things we can’t physically prove. If you really think about it it doesn’t make sense for us to be expected to 100% follow a religion because we aren’t able to know for fact which religion is the right one. If there’s a right religion then that means most people are brought up in and/or choose a wrong religion which in most typical religions would deem them things like nonbelievers,evil or unredeemable sinners. You think God would punish us for incorrectly guessing things? @@messengermusic489 hi there! Because we are human no one can be stain free, it is impossible. We sin every day even in small ways. But when Jesus said no one can get to the father but through me, he also means that when we repent and follow Jesus, and bring our sins to him, we are made clean and new again, without stain. No one can achieve this without Jesus our savior. I hope this helps!

Me too! One day I was driving and I had something ( definitely God) come over me and show me everything I was doing was wrong! I deleted tiktok because of it, that's where I started.... that app is very evil, it really does show people witchcraft, tarot card readings, zodiac signs, and the 3rd eye!
That's the one that almost got me, it was actually hard to get out of, because that is very evil.
I'm very thankful God showed me that day.

This is all so true. I was actually raised in a New Age church. I was never at ease with what I was learning but I thank God that he was always with me, when I came of age, I sought Jesus for myself. Jesus is the way, the only Truth and the life!!!

Dorothea Dixon...you are so correct. I don't know many organized churches that are traditional anymore. I think this has been a way of addressing the issue. Church attendance, in general, is lower than it has ever been. Attendance among millennials and men is low. I understand the Bible is what it is and not changing, but clearly, people are changing despite it. I don't know what that means for the future of churches.

I had fallen into some really bad things in my late teens. Just some unsolicited advice here: Always try the spirits to see if they are of the Lord; the Bible is your standard of measurement. My parents successfully taught me how to live the Christian life, yet I never had any desire to rid my life of sin until a few months ago. I no longer desire sin in my heart! I never understood what it meant to have the Holy Spirit reside in me, but let me tell you now, brother, I KNOW He is in me! My parents have prepared me my entire life for this, and now I am ready to go out into the world with that knowledge and with the Holy Spirit within me!!

@@DTDK001 New Age has been around for lots and lots of years. There is nothing new under the sun. Old Testament God even made reference to some of the practices of others and made it clear He did not want the children of Israel to do those things. The New Age stuff leads no where. It is a distraction from the true and living God.

I recently released the New Age ... I did the New Age stuff and my life was full of stress,mental illness, anxiety .... I was in it and I heard jesus and the demons I didnt know which way to go.... but I prayed daily to God and today I am feeling more connected to Jesus more than ever. Well most of the time this deals with the way to Christ is honestly a narrow path and the devil has deceived many. It's possible. Just remember that all this New Age stuff is really just re-branded Paganism. Many of these specific beliefs are quite ancient. For example: a powerful energy force in nature, Universe as God, astrology, divination, the Divine within every human, etc. So it is unlikely that their presence is any kind of sign of the times. The only really new part of this stuff is Post-modern moral relativism in which anything is "true" as long as I say it is. If you ask me, that kind of thinking has the smell of sulphur to it, figuratively speaking. The Bible also refers to a time when what is good is called evil and what is evil is called good etc. That has also been happening in different ways for millenia, but seems to be becoming almost formalized these days, so who knows. All I know is that Christ said "no man shall know the day..." so we just need to live faithfully in the meantime.

It may be true that, when you burn a log, you get ashes, but the log is still destroyed in the sense that the matter and energy that were aranged to form the log are no longer forming a log. You can wax philosophical about whether or not things end, or you can go into a scientific lecture about the conservation of matter and energy, but the literal planet we live on (and therefore the creatures that live on it) will not last forever. Science and pretty much every religion agree on that. Even in Christianity, there is to be a New Heavens and New Earth, but that doesn't mean the dissolution of the old one is somehow not a big deal. You may not believe in divine revelation, but the world will literally stop existing as the world one of these days. It is a ligitimate thing to think about.

My solution was to just remember how inconsistent that stuff is and how many exceptions there are to every rule it has, thus even within its own continuity it's not accurate, and therefor people couldn't be defined by their sign even if it was true. This is exactly whats happening for me right now! I went to a christian workshop last Saturday and I know a few of the ladies there from different churches including my own. A lady, not from a church, but who has her own healing ministry was teaching us all a few relaxation methods. Then it went a bit weird as she had us sit in groups of 3 and (in our imaginations) take our fellow sisters to the throneroom of God to pray for blessings for her (not too much of a problem with that) but then she said we should wait and see if God tells us a message for them and also to ask for a piece of jewelry from Him...THAT I have a problem with!
Background on me, Ive always been into new age from a very early age but 3 years ago I was having a 3 day panic attack and out of nowhere I dropped to my knees and cried out to Jesus(weird as my whole fam are atheist) to take it away...and He did! In that second! Also I was having seizures and they stopped too, tho I didnt realise that so much because I didnt have them weekly. However, THIS Saturday night I had a seizure after 3 years of none and after being involved in (what I consider) new age practices that very day.

I have known this man for almost 50 years and he has always claimed to be a believer. He taught that we should always be in a mindset of gratitude and even used scripture in the class. I went through the class and something just has never quite sat right with me. It felt like they regarded Napolean Hill, Wallace Wattles and other such individuals on a par with the Lord as far as wisdom. I have not been able to shake this nagging feeling in my spirit. Mainly they teach about positive thought and action (basically Faith) and to NOT just sit around with negative thought, doubt, etc and no action which is basically Sinning. If after listening or reading their information and teachings makes you feel uneasy or not right then you might seriously have something else going on because all they are telling you to do is to use your gift FROM GOD (basically your mind and faith) in order to succeed and thrive in life (be it health, finances, relationships, etc). They aren't really spiritual teachers but more so Faith Applier Strategists. If you can't take anything positive and applicable from their teachings you might have something else going on that not even Jesus can save you from. A big clue/hint is your capacity of FAITH.

I've been taught through reading the scriptures as well as prayer that we, as believers, go through seasons of hardships to test and strengthen our trust and faith in our Heavenly Father and Lord. Just because you may feel alone, you're not alone. Our Heavenly Father and Lord are with you.
Just know that it will pass, and by holding onto your faith and trust you will be strengthened.
The book of Job is a good book to read regarding troubles and tests of faith and trust.

i hardly ever write comments, however this video truly and deeply hurt me. a lot of new age things have saved me and turned my life around to be a more spiritual person and i have become a stronger believer in my faith in God. just because people like me believe in different things does not mean others “shouldn’t date us” or that we are “on our way to hell”. closed mindsets like these are the ones that have steered me away from the church for years now. i understand that you are strong in your faith, however many of the points you made about karma and vibrations showed me that you don’t fully understand what these things actually are and could have done more research before casting judgment. many new age believers like me stand for positivity, inclusivity, compassion, love, and many other good thing, never negativity. a few people out there dabble in dark things, but as with any group, the few bad people should not represent everyone as a whole. i feel like we all should take the time to learn about one another before condemning them and calling them a sinner, but that’s just my opinion.

something I noticed in christianity is that people are extremely judgemental of others and their beliefs. I was raised in a conservative Christian household and I was very devoted. But along the way I started questioning what I was being taught. Not everything is black and white and theres nothing wrong with asking questions. Just because you don't share the same beliefs as someone doesn't mean you are better than them. People are so quick to discredit each other without even understanding the root of their beliefs. There is such a lack of compassion and understanding in the Christian community that it seems like all they care about is demonizing others. The goal is to bring people together and for them to learn about a loving God. Christianity has changed SO MUCH over the years, and its important to be open minded and flexible in our beliefs. And before yall start whipping out bible verses and telling me that God's word is definitive, may I remind you that slavery was defended in God's name? Luckily we moved past that but who's to say this isn't what's happening currently with the LGBTQ movement? Anyways I digress, my point is LEARN FROM EACHOTHER. Don't just shut people up when your beliefs are being questioned. TALK ABOUT IT. HAVE A DISCUSSION. DISSECT IT. Its opportunity to connect with others and learn their stories. Being defensive and dismissive won't get you anywhere.

You forgot the biggest one of all, which even I forgot but am restarting Genesis and it reminded me - the belief that YOU are God/the point of your spirituality is to become one with God/ that we are all equal to God.

That IS one of the main focal points of spirituality: to become one with the creator. The whole point of what you people call a “new age” practice such as meditation is to find the creator within to solve your problems rather than to some magical omnipotent external being that supposedly has your best interests in mind. The truth is that we are all equal to the creator and are different manifestations of it, as we all emerged from the same matter hence why we are all connected through a unified field as a collective consciousness. You follow a religion based out of fear of the unknown. Meditation has had proven benefits and healing properties for as long as humans have been around. It’s as simple as doing your research, and if maybe if you and all of the other followers on here kept an open mind and didn’t blindly follow a text without questioning it, then maybe you would understand why these things actually make sense.
Noah Oliveri the Bible says to meditate on the Word of God. It does draw you closer to Him when used correctly. There is a huge difference between meditating on your Creator and emptying your mind. Many who empty their mind do not realize they allow other spirits to fill it. We came from the dust and personally I’ve never had the spiritual, financial, physical blessings in new age that I now find under Christ. I realized trying to be one with God left me alone when it came to fighting satan , we all know evil is in this world & there has to be a Creator above it that can defeat it. New age never answered large scale evils in the world for me, but Christ did. All I did was bring every question and test it against the Bible. I encourage you to try it, some stuff may be hard to digest but when your eyes are open to the truth it changes your world. I thought I was right spiritually in new age, I was never more wrong.

Anyone else here struggle with finding “community?” I’m not a new age believer AT ALL. But I have a hard time fitting into the church building setting. Period. I just don’t understand how it benefits me (or anyone else) for us to sit in a building with strangers to listen to worship, a milky word and the head home for a feast and a nap. I’ve found preachers I enjoy listening to. Preachers that challenge me in my walk but theyre in another state and it just doesn’t seem feasible to move to another state (plus my husband isnt having that anyway.) It makes me really sad because I’ve been asking for godly friendships and Godly people to come along in my life and I don’t see anything happening or maybe I’ve rejected them? I also don’t see a whole lot of mention in the word of God when it comes to gathering in a building with strangers lol or how often we should be doing that. My community of believers is my family; mother in law, sister in law, etc, that feels natural...I can ask questions and we can hash out our thoughts, etc. I don’t get that from church. For me the church building is just another corporate business down the block with a Jesus tag attached. 🤷🏽♀️ Any wisdom and insight on this will be very helpful. Anyone else struggle with this or have strugled with this and has overcome it or is overcoming it? I believe in community but within the church building I’ve found that I’ve lost hope in finding community there.
Joanzie's Life That’s really sad that has been your experience. It sounds like you have not found the right church home for you. I go to Restoration Christian Fellowship in Colorado and I have never found true fellowship like I have at this church. We are all family and we support each other through good times and bad times. I am apart of a millennial group at my church and I’ve never received the kind of love and support at any other church. Keep looking, do not give up! The point of going to church is to surround yourself with like minded people and grow in your relationship with Christ. Fellowship and community is a huge part of God wanting us to go to church. There are church’s who care about saving souls and bringing people closer to Christ. And for those saying that church’s are businesses... well how are they going to keep the lights on or the church going. That’s why God wants us tithe and give onto to the church. You are keeping the church going so that we can continue to do the Lords work.

I certainly pray that I can lead by example to both my family members who are christian and to my christian family. I certainly pray that God can be shaping me to use me to show Him rather than just myself. I pray that, as a Church community, we can be leading each other by displaying Him more and more, and letting Him use us to correct each other and disciple one another.
I see that you have a different opinion to me, and I respect that. I hope you can respect mine when I say that I also pray for those things for my mother and my sister, and my other christian sisters- including you and including my wonderful Godly wife - as much as for my christian brothers. @DJ Even though there really is proof for Christianity. Public schools will teach you evolution but they're also starting to teach that males go on periods so I'll take evolution just as seriously as that.
@DJ Well it wasn't actually 500 years because the calendar has been changed and different cultures had different calendars back then. Some cultures used calendars where 1 month might be 2 weeks for us or 1 year was every 3-5 months and sometimes 1 day for them was really 2 days for us or a half-day so it's not 100% clear on how old they were. Yes some of it takes faith but there is a lot of evidence for the Bible being historically reliable, and the supernatural is real. Believe me I've had things happen where I'll sense a presence or hear whispering and automatically dismiss it as my imagination or the wind from the fan only to have weird stuff happen to me that night (feeling a talon grab my shoulder and a woman appearing and shaking me awake then disappearing to name a few). I've done lots of research into this even before I was having supernatural encounters.
DJ Actually, I was scared because I have the proof that God exist. I don’t believe in God only because of unjustified faith, and evolution isn’t incompatible with faith and the Creation theory. I’m very passionate about Cosmology, History and Astronomy and things like this.
« At the beginning », days were not 24h- long, they were less than those - probably 12h or even shorter. This can explain how people, like Noah, could be 500 years old and had babies. Time is not a « real » things and God does not work according to human definition of time. You can study it, you will find many things. Creation and Evolution are not incompatible. Also, there are many many historical discoveries that have been made that show that the Bible is indeed a real thing, and not just faith. See the story of Gomorrah. Nowhere else on earth, you can find purer sulfur remaining than there... And, « strangely », this story is in the Bible and have no terrestrial logic. And there are also so many archeological discoveries that are ongoing that could confirm a little bit more that the Bible story ( for example, not so long ago a church, from the first century, has probably been discovered... and this church, some think, it could be the church of Peter ). The Bible also, I’d read in the Hebrew language, sometimes refer to dinosaurs and giants. I’m what we can call a scholar, i love science and knowledge, so, God knows how stubborn I am when it comes to the infos i read. I never agree as soon as I read it, I only want the truth... And, well my truth, God often destroyed it to show me His, the real Truth - and this Truth has a name: Jesus.
Another thing, ask yourself those questions: how, by faith, did people back then, knew that the « Heavens » would pass away ? It has been scientifically proved that the Universe, and the Milky Way quicker, is dying. The Universe will no longer be. How did people knew that before the creation of earth, there were nothing ? How did they know that light appear first ? How did people, by faith, knew how to perfectly calculate a lunar year ? How, by faith, did the Bible knew that Africa were the cradle of mankind ? People back then couldn’t know this, even with the most intelligent person, except if this Person is the Creator Himself. The book of Enoch can also help and realize some things.
And why, being of a such prideful and sinful, people would follow a God who ask them to do His will rather than theirs, if He wasn’t stronger and the real God ? It is proven, when you fear someone and someone is stronger than you, you will do His will, not yours. This is why strong Christians follow God and not other humans, because they have seen the Power of God.
Also, I forgot to mention but my family is from Asia ( Indian, Chinese and Malagasy ) and I grew up in a little island in the Indian Ocean. I know a lot about Hindouism, Taoism, etc. There, I heard, with my own ears, demonic manifestations, in people, intentionally, being possessed. Those are the rituals the Bible warned us about. I was blinded by idols before.
Oh, also, I had my first bible only this year ( something like 6 months ago ), so I couldn’t know back then who Jesus truly was, nor who Yahweh truly was, nor the Holy Spirit. God, Himself, opened my eyes, when I was faithless. If it wasn’t Him, I wouldn’t have been saved. And God knows how dangerous, how under demonic influences my family was. I now have faith in God, but it was not by faith that I believed first. Just as in Malachi, God came and showed me that He was The Only True God. There are so many other things I could say, but it is not my time yet to truly talk about the story of my Salvation. But I know for sure that God exists. It is not based on what humans said to me. My family is now catholic, but this is not where God is leading me. I have absolutely no rational explanation of everything that happened to me, except that it is God.
Last but not least, but I’ve to say that even Einstein was a Believer. He believed in God. And he believed in the existence of black holes, when other people called him crazy. This year, we had the irrefutable proof that black holes exist. Before it’s too late, seek God.

I would use those words myself too without knowing where it's from...Universe, energy, vibes act.. but always believed in God.
But strangely this vocabulary tends to diminish Gods power and blur lines as you dont know what other people believe in.

Wow. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Christian openly say that Christians are SUPPOSED to judge other people. I’ve seen plenty of Christians do it, because they’re human beings, but I’ve never seen one openly say that. I was always raised by “Judge not, lest you be judged.” I’m not even Christian, but that’s the Biblical teaching that I will continue to try and abide by. Openly advocating for judging other people is morally wrong in my opinion, and has historically led to pretty much every single large-scale human tragedy. Just because you’re full of love and kindness (or whatever) doesn’t make you right.

A friend of mine kept asking me to go to a psychic to get my cards read. I never believed in this, felt it was sin. After so much begging, I got upset and decided to go, but knew it was wrong. She had me ask a question in my head, not to voice it. I asked “is something causing my child to be delayed in her speech?”. But never once said it out loud. I was tense the whole time I was there. At the end, she told me “To answer your question, yes. Have her doctor look at her adenoids. She hears things as someone would under water”. I left, but felt a lot of pain in my ankle. Over the next few days, it was so swollen and the pain was horrible. I remembered it started when I was at this place. I felt the need to “pop” my ankle, but it wouldn’t. I ended up going to urgent care and was told I had bursitis. I was probably 29. I never heard of it. I looked up info and found it to be pretty odd for someone at 29 to have it, even more odd in the ankle. I did schedule my daughter an appointment and it was indeed her adenoids were so enlarged that it muffled her hearing. I would not have known to question it, I wasn’t sure what adenoids were. But, you’ll never see me getting my cards read! Never did it again and even having a son who is currently speech delayed, we will figure it out without some physic .

I didn’t realize I was exposed to and was beginning to adopt a lot of new age thoughts into my life until a couple of years ago. It all came about from listening to podcasts and reading self development books. Took a break from podcasts. Now I’m working on a new playlist of podcasts but I really want to be aware and have discernment on what I’m feeding myself with.

Some people are also deceived. They have some knowledge about God but, the church has maybe ran them off. They think ALL of these things but do not truly understand the Word of God and the role of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Easy! Hmmm? How about loving your neighbor like is says in the bible? Can children "Feel" when a parent loves them?" How about body language? You can demonstrate the love that God has given you. Yes...people can feel it and it sends good vibes that people can feel.
People feel loved, not good vibes. Why not call it what it is. The bible calls it love, we know it to be love, we are commanded to love..why try to twist what scripture calls it. God himself IS love, not "vibes". So if you cant even properly identify what is feels like to be loved then how can you properly identify God himself?

Jesus said life and death lie in the power of the tongue and so if I am “sending you good energy” it basically means that I’m sending good blessings your way. Christians today seem to take certain things too deep. God also said that he wants us to prosper so if it involves something good I want it because God is the source of goodness so He is the one that all good things flow from. Something can’t be evil and good at the same time-that’s oxymoronic.
Stop giving the devil so much power and exaltation. God is the source of goodness. The plans of the devil is to kill, steal and destroy not to send us “good vibes” or blessings. So once again, if it’s good..I want it.

This is such an important topic! Thank you for addressing this and being so clear about it too. This is precisely the background I came from before finally giving my life to Christ. I still have friends that believe this that I’m reaching out to and trying to be a light to.
And the sending good vibes or energy thing has to do with a deep-seeded belief that your body, or more like your soul, is this pure energy that vibrates at a certain frequency. It’s a metaphysical belief. So when someone says they send you their energy, it’s a lot like a prayer, but instead of communicating with God and trusting that he will act according to his will, there’s this belief that you can almost manipulate the energy or vibrations of the universe itself. So by “sending” your energy, it’s like if you imagine that you have a wave of energy literally pulsating from your body that will be specifically received by the other person and that it would be good energy. A good comparison is like if you’re in a pool and splash to create waves that will eventually reach someone in front of you, except imagine that you can control exactly where those waves will go so they don’t just spread through the whole pool.
I am so glad to be a Christian now, though, because honestly, I would not want to think that I can manipulate the universe physically or metaphysically. It just seems prideful and very much like I am my own little god. I’d much rather let the real creator of the universe handle all of that and trust that he would know what’s right and good more than I ever could.
There is only pride in such acts if you let the power go to your head. And only sin when you bring harm with such powers.

Met a new age guy that thought he was a Christian, he didn’t even read the bible because he thought he already had all the answers which is love. He thought that love was everything so he didn’t need the Bible even though he is active in the church. I ran far away. Plus be smoked weed. How can such a man lead me to God and raise a family?

5:00 Hi I live in South East Asian where there are many practices like this, this "sending energy" things. I do think that this is true, but it is very dangerous. I think it uses like yoga and definitely Tai Chi, a form of Chinese Martial Art exercise. This, if I am not wrong, is taking life force from something (or attempting to) and transferring it to yourself and maybe others. However, this is NOT of GOD. A word of warning, I would suggest that if any of you encounter someone saying he or she will "Send you good energy", I strongly suggest you pray over yourself and ask for God's covering, because that "Good Energy" may be, and quite likely is, an evil spirit... so yea just a little note for yall!

How would you explain the day of creation? A person shaped like a human sat on a cloud and threw his arms and there was life? Chancey? The only reason you would see god as a human is because that’s what makes most sense to you. If I see god as a power and what caused the big bang, that is my theory and it doesn’t make me a new ager. Just someone who tries to understand it all on a deeper level. Don’t criticise people who try to understand. That’s just hurting more people than it helps.

It’s literally the same thing said slightly differently. Let me ask you why do you assume the “energy” being sent/channeled isn’t from God? I agree we should never see ourselves as Gods. But according to your religion as well we are all children of God. Children is the output of parents. Wouldn’t it make sense for us to have at least some qualities of God if we are Gods children? The problem w these things in general though is that we really can’t come to a right/wrong answer since we’re talking about faiths,beliefs,things we can’t physically prove. If you really think about it it doesn’t make sense for us to be expected to 100% follow a religion because we aren’t able to know for fact which religion is the right one. If there’s a right religion then that means most people are brought up in and/or choose a wrong religion which in most typical religions would deem them things like nonbelievers,evil or unredeemable sinners. You think God would punish us for incorrectly guessing things?
