I really needed to hear that, God is calling me to preach, but I'm skeptical because I don't feel like I know His word well enough. I study His word more granted my memory isn't as great as it once was since the car accident where I fractured my brain. I know I survived that accident for a reason, I was in ICU for 3days at risk of being paralyzed if I chose not to have CT surgery. Needless to say after surgery God healed my wounds quickly my hospital stay was only one week. I was determined to go home. I have a beautiful voice but He's calling me to preach as well. Thanks for those words of truth and encouragement!!!!!
It may be very well that God is calling you to preach. In fact in a sense all Christians are called to preach, preaching is in essence proclaiming the gospel, which is something all believers should seek to do. But are you being called to be a Pastor? That is another question. A big determining factor of a Christians area of spiritual giftedness is the Church. God gave spiritual gifts for the edification (strengthening) of the body. (The Church) I have the privilege of being a teacher at the local church I attend, and I am in full time ministry through the work I do( with the homeless). I prayed for several years about teaching and being involved in ministry and then God brought these things to me through the church and my willingness to be envolved. Seek to do God's will in the body and He will place you where he wants you to be. The discovery, (and/or confirmation of you spiritual giftedness) generally happens within the context of the church. God's grace to you.

Allen, this video described me to a “T”. I know I don’t comment much but I do watch your videos and this one made me cry! My biggest struggle is personal insecurities and always feeling its not “the right time.” The thing is, I know what a powerful testimony I have and how much my writing impacts people, but I get so easily overwhelmed and get paralyzed when it comes to where to start. And now, the whole cancer thing makes me feel like I won’t be able to “finish what I start” because I’m waiting for someone to tell me I’m going to be ok! But then I realize that this perpetual uncertainty IS my lifelong cross to bear! I have so much to share and feel guilty that I can’t seem to step out and do what I feel God has put in my heart to do. Thank you so much for this particular video. It spoke to me deeply...especially as I approach my first post treatment scan. I am petrified and wanting so much to hear I will have time to do the things i’ve procrastinated on for so long😞

I don't know what God is calling me to do. Recently, I keep encountering false teachers and websites and the like, and all I could garenteed do for myself is read the bible myself. I was hesitent on watching your videos again, thinking you might be one as well. I feel like this video does help with the obstacles in what God wants me to do, etc. I just still don't know exactly what God is calling me to do.

I believe God is calling me into business and I have known this for close to 4 years now but nearly all the obstacles you highlighted, especially the third one about a lack of knowledge, have held me back. But this year, I have decided to take that leap of faith, and God has assured me that I would succeed whether or not I feel ready. Your testimony has also greatly encouraged me. I'm the mama of a daughter with special needs. She was born that way. God didn't call me in advance and tell me to be a mother of a special needs so I didn't have the opportunity to say no, I'm not qualified but I assure you, I would have said, "God, are you out of your mind? I'm not qualified to do that." I have learned how to do it along the way. People say I'm good at it. But it wasn't thru any skill or schooling that I got here. Since I discover your channel in You Tube Pastor Allen few weeks ago ,I become one of your excited listener because I make sure I can hear you preach and receive a fresh word of God in my daily part of my everyday life who has truth and encouragement. You are absolutely right that God has given you this format of ministry because it maybe short study bible study but very easy to understand and make sense to us Christian believers .Imagine how many viewers of yours would increase their knowledge and be a follower of Christ if you did not pursue this gifted talent that God has given to you .Your message is brief but every word you explain is clearly understood .The fact is after watching your video I have this joy after every message you presented.The other day in face book a guy felt very alone with almost no friends and express no purpose in life. He requested in Gods 411 Facebook for prayers. After some brief written prayer I gave him Your You Tube name and told him to watch your video. I hope he did follow my advise because if not his missing a lot .I am going to look at you first video I hope it’s still there in your channels. . The topic you brought up is is one of the most difficult to understand but now I start understanding about Rupture and Tribulations .Thank you for your time ,talent you have been sharing with us I hope more and more topics in the Bible be discuss and learn before the Lord take us home. This is so helpful. I did this very early on when accepting my call into ministry. I struggle every now and then even now. I pretty much just do everything Afraid! Yep! Although I’m nervous or fearful, I go ahead and do it afraid and God gets the glory.

God is keeping me very busy doing different things. And every time I turn around another one comes up. I have my plate full and don't want to spread myself too thin. But I'm in the music ministry so God answered my prayers with that. He has me doing readings in church, the Worship Committee, and now has me joining a women's group to raise money to give to those in need. I have had these insecurities too. But God has blessed me so much in the past few years. I work full time and am also involved in this. Satan tries to lure me back to my old life, but I know it wouldn't be right and don't want to do this. God has used me too even though I felt I had no right to be a servant of God. Great message! Please pray for me that I may continue to do what God wants me to do. I believe God has used you to help me grow and really learn things I need to learn.
I need to watch this every day WOW! God equips, unless He helps me it CANNOT be done. I'm called to be fully dependent on Him i must stop relying on myself!

Today I was having that struggle about how to balance the time and money needed, to finish this training. Right now I have a good job, its scary walking away from that.. I can totally relate to #5. After a close friend died of an overdose in 2018, I thought I was totally done with the whole drug world. However, 5 months later he dropped a book on my about addiction he wanted me to write. I didn't want to write it. In fact, I was in the middle of writing a different book that I was envisioning as a great money maker. Needless to say, I kept procrastinating in the writing of the book God wanted me to write. Months later, my life was noticeably askew. It was at that time the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance something I heard a preacher say, "If your life is offtrack, go back to the last thing God told you to do that you didn't do, and do it. Then your life should get back on track." For me, it was writing that book that I didn't want to write. Finally, I relented and started it. When I did, the inspiration started flowing. Yes, I still was diligent about thinking down and completing it, but everytime I did, the inspiration flowed. Recently, a friend of mine had a relapse in her addiction. As we were discussing her situation, the thought came to me, "This is exactly why God has me writing this book. It this for people like her!" Through my friend's experience, God showed me the importance of the message in the book. I finally got a revelation of why he chose me to write it, even though I never wanted to at the beginning.

I Identify so~ much with Moses.(With all of our flaws, always seeking to remind us of how broken and scarred we are and that we are foolish to think, dream or do what GOD is telling us HE choose us to do. Our Heavenly Father Elohim is so lovinglykind and patient with us. Pure 💖💖💖 Yet some of us need more prodding and convincing. GOD knows HIS children. I struggle with all 5 of these obstacles (the 5th being my biggest struggle). Idk what God has called me to do really but lately I've seen God's work in and thru me. Little by little God has been working in and thru me and it's wonderful but I honestly dont know what God has called me to do really.
God is definitely calling me to speak about my life, to reach out to the young women and men to hold on to their youth and purity. To counsel as I have and tell my story of how through my fiancee death I came to life...seeking the Lord.

It's my heart's desire to serve God the way he wants. But my insecurities blocks me to used my gift to the fullness. I know God is able that's why I kept on praying and serving hoping I can serve someday with 100% dedication.

As a young epileptic single christian ive had people claim disabilty (or "epilepsy is demonic"), my age/experince is "not enough" or relationship status isn't " appropite" (ie single or God keeping me safe by staying away from my family) they don't listen BUT I know and so can you Whatever God call's you to, God through the Holy Spirit will train and equip you for whatever it is God wants you to do and God's grace (God's enabling power) helps us as we steep into faith of the unknown and let God do the impossible in our lives :) God Bless

i KNOW God WANTS ME _and from what spirit or "heart" hopefully the previous_ - has whispered to me is it is going to spiritually do great things in his name but it will be SPIRITUALLY DRAINING! Not only hatred from the world but hatred from my potential brothers in christ! I was on fire for the lord but that isn't the main issue! I have fallen *not hard* but into sin from my past, Don't get me wrong, I'm convicted and hurting for freedom from it everyday!, I went through 7 years of being beat down from warfare because I was just in LOVE with God! Going so far as hitting the enemy head on, and messing with his counterfeit kingdom, And GOD STILL had me prevail, Long story short, My CURRENT SINS which happen ever day, that i am fully aware of, cause me to doubt if i am even allowed to do this! That holy spirit "fire" wa in and moving so quickly , That now it may be there but it's what I call "a still quiet voice" its so silent, I just started preaching again and Now I'm stuck preaching with no fire, The problem is the sin that I am doing is unique and takes soo much more than a quick STOP and turn around, And I don't want to be here in my 30's! Not for age sake but for being stuck sake! I BEG God to remove it and in 4 years ....Nothing, They might not even be considered sin or that bad to some praise the lord....But TOOO ME they are and therefor it counts,I can still pull on the much that I know, I can still or rather HE can still do the work in me, But does that mea I should? i'M 26 which I realize is still young but i see these 16 year olds replacing exactly what I would be! I'm posting my testimony soon because I don't even have ONE video teaching! I got saved at 16 - truly saved - And God is still STILL Moving in my life bu i FEEL "Feel" that i've made father a the least disappointed in me, Shy away and quench the spirit I used to have, Yes it's all my fault! but it's been years and praying for freedom isn't working! I've was praying ad I heard a voice in my spirit say, just like paul i have held you back for a reason, Put you on pause.. a thorn in your side so to speak But I'm so HUNGRY to be on play! Heck my younger brother is in the same sin but he is MOVING! I'm starting to feel that now is time regardless of my current sins and to just...MOVE! Jesus is truly at the door and I want to be ready when he opens it and reveals hmself to the world, I don't NEED to rely on feelings, I need to rely on his plans! I am Grateful God has shown me what he showed me that most christians don't get to see, 4 things I won't go in to detail SO ALEN is current sin not going to allow me to work for him? like online? Or in the world? My brother is MOVING in the lord even with the same sin, He's always been the type to overlook and not overthink... Is This what I need? But I'm suddenly preaching the Gospel again! A buddhist friend of my mons showed up to give her vitamins and she was sharing her beliefs and it just all came out and she was SOOOO kind about it,I Had just once again preached to a friend out of no where because she said she seen a demon in her home! Her mom does witchcraft so although she is a very sweet girl, She wouldnt let me pray over her AND i warned her that the bible says satan will come to take this seed planted, now that she has heard. I'm so sorry, this is too long, Anyways, I'd llove your help on this and Godbless you brother! (Oh and one other thing. AT 18-20 I walked into a room and a women shook my hand and shuddered in an amazing way, She told me that God is telling me TO NOT SET GOALS.. Now years later, I struggle with setting goals! I mean you can hear it in my voice! So please allan.. What do you believe God says to do!

Good words of advice... however, it's not always the obstacles that WE create for ourselves, but sometimes the obstacles the church creates for us in our attempts to move forward. Nothing can squash our desires more than church folk who discourage our efforts.

Great video! It'd be #5 -Jesus said we must give what we have to the poor and also love God with all your heart. We're blessed to have a savior that Moses and everyone of that time did not. It's very easy to give into the love of Christ when you look at it that way.
Shows that you are totally dependent on God because when you talk it proves that the Holy Spirit is speaking through you. You set a great example. This is all true. I stopped preaching at some point because of regret. But Jesus said if I don't get up. Then I have pride to believe that Him dying on the cross was not good enough for what I committed. Only then I looked up to Him and stopped drowning.
When i tell you ive used everyone of these excuses...and thats just today. I know the Lord called me to be a praise and worship leader because its the one thing that requires the biggest sacrifice...me. Lord help me to decrease that you might increase.
I have a job lined up at the casino for Cleaning Attendant and the hours are a grave shift, smoking is permitted throughout the place, I have to mask the whole 8 hours, I have to specifically clean toilets, vomit, and urine at the slot machines and etc. Don't want the job but still went through the application process. Kinda stressful about it and haven't even started working there yet. 😔 Prayed about it and now waiting to see if this is what Elohim wants me to do.🤲🏾

In fact in a sense all Christians are called to preach, preaching is in essence proclaiming the gospel, which is something all believers should seek to do. But are you being called to be a Pastor? That is another question. A big determining factor of a Christians area of spiritual giftedness is the Church. God gave spiritual gifts for the edification (strengthening) of the body. (The Church) I have the privilege of being a teacher at the local church I attend, and I am in full time ministry through the work I do( with the homeless). I prayed for several years about teaching and being involved in ministry and then God brought these things to me through the church and my willingness to be envolved. Seek to do God's will in the body and He will place you where he wants you to be. The discovery, (and/or confirmation of you spiritual giftedness) generally happens within the context of the church. God's grace to you.
God can use anyone. He will equip you with memory as soon as you speak His words
God is not calling you. You are telling yourself to preach.

Allen, this video described me to a “T”. I know I don’t comment much but I do watch your videos and this one made me cry! My biggest struggle is personal insecurities and always feeling its not “the right time.” The thing is, I know what a powerful testimony I have and how much my writing impacts people, but I get so easily overwhelmed and get paralyzed when it comes to where to start. And now, the whole cancer thing makes me feel like I won’t be able to “finish what I start” because I’m waiting for someone to tell me I’m going to be ok! But then I realize that this perpetual uncertainty IS my lifelong cross to bear! I have so much to share and feel guilty that I can’t seem to step out and do what I feel God has put in my heart to do. Thank you so much for this particular video. I'm the mama of a daughter with special needs. She was born that way. God didn't call me in advance and tell me to be a mother of a special needs so I didn't have the opportunity to say no, I'm not qualified but I assure you, I would have said, "God, are you out of your mind? I'm not qualified to do that." I have learned how to do it along the way. People say I'm good at it. But it wasn't thru any skill or schooling that I got here. You are absolutely right that God has given you this format of ministry because it maybe short study bible study but very easy to understand and make sense to us Christian believers .Imagine how many viewers of yours would increase their knowledge and be a follower of Christ if you did not pursue this gifted talent that God has given to you .Your message is brief but every word you explain is clearly understood .The fact is after watching your video I have this joy after every message you presented.The other day in face book a guy felt very alone with almost no friends and express no purpose in life. He requested in Gods 411 Facebook for prayers. After some brief written prayer I gave him Your You Tube name and told him to watch your video. I hope he did follow my advise because if not his missing a lot .I am going to look at you first video I hope it’s still there in your channels. . This is so helpful. I did this very early on when accepting my call into ministry. I struggle every now and then even now. I pretty much just do everything Afraid! Yep! Although I’m nervous or fearful, I go ahead and do it afraid and God gets the glory.

I find the call to make disciples difficult and usually come up with excuses such as "I'm still spiritually immature", "I haven't studied the Bible enough", or "I'm not very good at explaining this topic." God is keeping me very busy doing different things. And every time I turn around another one comes up. I have my plate full and don't want to spread myself too thin. But I'm in the music ministry so God answered my prayers with that. He has me doing readings in church, the Worship Committee, and now has me joining a women's group to raise money to give to those in need. I have had these insecurities too. But God has blessed me so much in the past few years. I work full time and am also involved in this. Satan tries to lure me back to my old life, but I know it wouldn't be right and don't want to do this. God has used me too even though I felt I had no right to be a servant of God. Great message! Please pray for me that I may continue to do what God wants me to do. I believe God has used you to help me grow and really learn things I need to learn.
I need to watch this every day WOW! God equips, unless He helps me it CANNOT be done. I'm called to be fully dependent on Him i must stop relying on myself!

I can totally relate to #5. After a close friend died of an overdose in 2018, I thought I was totally done with the whole drug world. However, 5 months later he dropped a book on my about addiction he wanted me to write. I didn't want to write it. In fact, I was in the middle of writing a different book that I was envisioning as a great money maker. Needless to say, I kept procrastinating in the writing of the book God wanted me to write. Months later, my life was noticeably askew. It was at that time the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance something I heard a preacher say, "If your life is offtrack, go back to the last thing God told you to do that you didn't do, and do it. Then your life should get back on track." For me, it was writing that book that I didn't want to write. Finally, I relented and started it. When I did, the inspiration started flowing. Yes, I still was diligent about thinking down and completing it, but everytime I did, the inspiration flowed. Recently, a friend of mine had a relapse in her addiction. As we were discussing her situation, the thought came to me, "This is exactly why God has me writing this book. It this for people like her!" Through my friend's experience, God showed me the importance of the message in the book. I finally got a revelation of why he chose me to write it, even though I never wanted to at the beginning.

I Identify so~ much with Moses.(With all of our flaws, always seeking to remind us of how broken and scarred we are and that we are foolish to think, dream or do what GOD is telling us HE choose us to do. Our Heavenly Father Elohim is so lovinglykind and patient with us. Pure 💖💖💖 Yet some of us need more prodding and convincing. GOD knows HIS children. I struggle with all 5 of these obstacles (the 5th being my biggest struggle). Idk what God has called me to do really but lately I've seen God's work in and thru me. Little by little God has been working in and thru me and it's wonderful but I honestly dont know what God has called me to do really.
God is definitely calling me to speak about my life, to reach out to the young women and men to hold on to their youth and purity. To counsel as I have and tell my story of how through my fiancee death I came to life...seeking the Lord.

As a young epileptic single christian ive had people claim disabilty (or "epilepsy is demonic"), my age/experince is "not enough" or relationship status isn't " appropite" (ie single or God keeping me safe by staying away from my family) they don't listen BUT I know and so can you Whatever God call's you to, God through the Holy Spirit will train and equip you for whatever it is God wants you to do and God's grace (God's enabling power) helps us as we steep into faith of the unknown and let God do the impossible in our lives :) God Bless

i KNOW God WANTS ME _and from what spirit or "heart" hopefully the previous_ - has whispered to me is it is going to spiritually do great things in his name but it will be SPIRITUALLY DRAINING! Not only hatred from the world but hatred from my potential brothers in christ! I was on fire for the lord but that isn't the main issue! I have fallen *not hard* but into sin from my past, Don't get me wrong, I'm convicted and hurting for freedom from it everyday!, I went through 7 years of being beat down from warfare because I was just in LOVE with God! Going so far as hitting the enemy head on, and messing with his counterfeit kingdom, And GOD STILL had me prevail, Long story short, My CURRENT SINS which happen ever day, that i am fully aware of, cause me to doubt if i am even allowed to do this! That holy spirit "fire" wa in and moving so quickly , That now it may be there but it's what I call "a still quiet voice" its so silent, I just started preaching again and Now I'm stuck preaching with no fire, The problem is the sin that I am doing is unique and takes soo much more than a quick STOP and turn around, And I don't want to be here in my 30's! Not for age sake but for being stuck sake! I BEG God to remove it and in 4 years ....Nothing, They might not even be considered sin or that bad to some praise the lord....But TOOO ME they are and therefor it counts,I can still pull on the much that I know, I can still or rather HE can still do the work in me, But does that mea I should?
i'M 26 which I realize is still young but i see these 16 year olds replacing exactly what I would be! I'm posting my testimony soon because I don't even have ONE video teaching! I got saved at 16 - truly saved - And God is still STILL Moving in my life bu i FEEL "Feel" that i've made father a the least disappointed in me, Shy away and quench the spirit I used to have, Yes it's all my fault! but it's been years and praying for freedom isn't working! I've was praying ad I heard a voice in my spirit say, just like paul i have held you back for a reason, Put you on pause.. a thorn in your side so to speak
But I'm so HUNGRY to be on play! Heck my younger brother is in the same sin but he is MOVING! I'm starting to feel that now is time regardless of my current sins and to just...MOVE! Jesus is truly at the door and I want to be ready when he opens it and reveals hmself to the world, I don't NEED to rely on feelings, I need to rely on his plans! I am Grateful God has shown me what he showed me that most christians don't get to see, 4 things I won't go in to detail SO ALEN is current sin not going to allow me to work for him? like online? Or in the world? My brother is MOVING in the lord even with the same sin, He's always been the type to overlook and not overthink... Is This what I need? But I'm suddenly preaching the Gospel again! A buddhist friend of my mons showed up to give her vitamins and she was sharing her beliefs and it just all came out and she was SOOOO kind about it,I Had just once again preached to a friend out of no where because she said she seen a demon in her home! Her mom does witchcraft so although she is a very sweet girl, She wouldnt let me pray over her AND i warned her that the bible says satan will come to take this seed planted, now that she has heard. I'm so sorry, this is too long, Anyways,

AT 18-20 I walked into a room and a women shook my hand and shuddered in an amazing way, She told me that God is telling me TO NOT SET GOALS.. Now years later, I struggle with setting goals! Good words of advice... however, it's not always the obstacles that WE create for ourselves, but sometimes the obstacles the church creates for us in our attempts to move forward. Nothing can squash our desires more than church folk who discourage our efforts.

Great video! It'd be #5 -Jesus said we must give what we have to the poor and also love God with all your heart. We're blessed to have a savior that Moses and everyone of that time did not. It's very easy to give into the love of Christ when you look at it that way.
Shows that you are totally dependent on God because when you talk it proves that the Holy Spirit is speaking through you. You set a great example. This is all true. I stopped preaching at some point because of regret. But Jesus said if I don't get up. Then I have pride to believe that Him dying on the cross was not good enough for what I committed. Only then I looked up to Him and stopped drowning.
This is all in my house right now!

I have a job lined up at the casino for Cleaning Attendant and the hours are a grave shift, smoking is permitted throughout the place, I have to mask the whole 8 hours, I have to specifically clean toilets, vomit, and urine at the slot machines and etc. Don't want the job but still went through the application process. Kinda stressful about it and haven't even started working there yet. 😔 Prayed about it and now waiting to see if this is what Elohim wants me to do.🤲🏾
Mr Allen, I found your channel while I was researching about one of the false preachers and you touched me so much by the word of GOD that I'm continuing to watch your videos and be blessed.
The point is I had in my mind translating your videos in Persian language and sharing them with all Persian Christians in the world but i was afraid about doing it although i was really feeling it from the heart.
Your video this morning encouraged me to ask you "Can I translate and tell your words in Persian language?"
