    Wow!! Thank you!! I am completely SHOCKED at the sound and riffs coming out of my mouth right now. I've searched videos and followed along many many times, but this is the first time I have ever been able to hear myself do a riff. I really appreciate you taking the time to run through these slowly and repeatedly. Amazing!!

    I took choir in school for 5 years. I never learned this! I like to sing jazz but I've never thought I needed riffs and runs, boy was I wrong! I love this! Thank you for helping me understand. Your awesome ! 😊👏

      So happy to help! We don't think of scatting and jazz stylization as riffs/runs, but there's definitely a shared skill set there!

    You are a terrific educator. I appreciate that you showed the riffs/runs in several ways; by the numbers and the letter names, then did several repetitions both in slow and then sped up.     Looking for good exercises for a beginning singer like myself, 45 minutes of clicking around, and stumble on this gem. WOW.
