Thank you for tackling this topic about dynamics and strength because this is usually disregarded. I had to share this video to a lot of friends and singers I work with since this is honestly the most common thing I hear lacking on most performances. I love this video. Thank you
I'm not the biggest fan of Ariana's style of music but I've always had tremendous respect for her singing ever since I saw her live recordings of her live performances and her covers of other songs that highlight her abilities more. Still Ado is my favorite artist tho 🔥
This is fantastic ✨💡✨ Even though I’ve been learning to sing with dynamic placement and resonance from your courses and videos, this video further illuminated the role of dynamic breathing in the whole process. The way you explain things and support them with examples is like placing signposts on our learning path directing us other step forward. Thanks Chris 🙏🥰
Hey, it would be so cool to hear your voice do a cover of "Ben"! I LOVE your aggressive singing style, but it would be really interesting to hear you sing an entire song WITHOUT going into crazy grit, screams or distortion, but still dynamic & emotional! What dose the innocent Chris sound like???
I once came across Ado recently for the first time because I was looking for ADO, Cui Jian's awesome band from China. Their album from 1996 is such a gem!
I think that led to my question of how loud you’re “supposed” to sing. It doesn’t get discussed and can’t easily be expressed through a proxy like a video and is equally not easily distinguishable in sample songs (which are bad examples in a lot of cases anyway) because of the skew from the “beautification” through artistic mixing.
I love the way you explain all these things that are invisible and super hard to explain much less to actually put in practice. A lot of vocal related videos I've watched so far are so hard to understand since they are super abstract and I have to control all these muscles that I didn't even know exist.. But your explanation is super detailed and much easier to understand. Thanks, subscribed.
I like how You explain! Thank You for Your speaking skills. I am not native in english, but You was building every sentence in a way I was easely undestanding You! Also, it is awesome how You teach us on others' mistakes. Seeing how i sould not do reveals the topic easely(at least for me). And Your video is interesting! I watched untill the end! (I don't have much time to write a complete comment of Thanks, but I want at least write something to help You get more views on the video... )
Really useful stuff Chris. I had never thought about breathing this way even though it was a "DUH" moment for me. Of course there would be more air flow. Thanks for describing it so well and for the exercises. By the way, while you were demonstrating the breathing I immediately thought of "messa di voce". What's the connection? I believe the air flow is at least part of that technique. hmmmmm. Thanks for all your hard work and sharing of these videos.

Thank you for the exercise.
It is amazing.
i see ado, i subscribe and click. ado's voice is soooooo good man, such a powerful voice! gives me goosebumps
Thank you for tackling this topic about dynamics and strength because this is usually disregarded.
I had to share this video to a lot of friends and singers I work with since this is honestly the most common thing I hear lacking on most performances. I love this video. Thank you

I adore singing but I'm not allowed to do it anywhere but the car. These videos are all I have to learn from so thank you for all of these ❤
I'm not the biggest fan of Ariana's style of music but I've always had tremendous respect for her singing ever since I saw her live recordings of her live performances and her covers of other songs that highlight her abilities more. Still Ado is my favorite artist tho 🔥
Omg, I knew I wasn't insane. I could never figure out how to sing songs correctly without looking up live performances
Hey Chris, great video. Speaking of dynamic singing, one of the most dynamic singers I’ve ever heard was in a band called Fair To Midland.
Darroth Sudderth is a fantastic singer and can do it all: clean highs, distorted growls, throat singing, ecc.
I agree! ❤ A classic non-rock/metal love ballad.
i had no idea on who ado was before i watched this video and now i love her. thank you lol
I once came across Ado recently for the first time because I was looking for ADO, Cui Jian's awesome band from China. Their album from 1996 is such a gem!
Ado's voice literally makes me shiver every time I hear her sing.

Came here because of Ado, but glad I did it. Really helped by the breathing advice, thank you!
I am literally mind blown. I have never been able to sing on that range without feeling like I was reaching really hard. THANK YOU!! 😭
Good video, I was wondering about this yesterday like how it feels more tired and sounds not as good as Ado.
You come at a right time, Christ Liepe.
Thanks, now I'm breathing from my mouth all the time thanks to you.
Ado is finally getting the credit she deserves, first Uta, then Vocal Lessons, next, THE WORLD
I love the way you explain all these things that are invisible and super hard to explain much less to actually put in practice. A lot of vocal related videos I've watched so far are so hard to understand since they are super abstract and I have to control all these muscles that I didn't even know exist.. But your explanation is super detailed and much easier to understand. Thanks, subscribed.
I love ADO.🎉❤
Oh finally got it why mesa di voce is usefull in detailing. Thank you Chris.
very good content, dynamics in singing! thank you!
Ado is life, Ado is love! 💗
What was the 'that' in the editing at 1:01?
