I owned a x70 for almost a year now. And in this video i still get to learn something new. Which is locking your car while your ignition is still on. Thumbs up Bobby and Kon.

The difference in tax structure between local car vs imported CBU unit need to be taken into consideration as well. In Lexus, we pay more in tax than X70

Well this wasn't planned at all. We just want to do a recap video on the Proton X70 after we gave it out as a grand prize a week ago. Then I had the idea of comparing my XC90 with the X70 because so many Malaysians wrongfully thought the X70 was developed by Volvo, which isn't true. But it is true that Volvo's previous chief designer was the one who designed the X70. Then as we were about to shoot the video during the weekends, Lexus asked if we wanted to take the NX for a test. But even so we didn't thought about it because we rarely have two test cars being together with the same tester because we have 9 person in our team to rotate the cars around. Long story short ... have them together and we did this. As for the Harrier, it is actually the same car as the NX, both underpinned by the RAV4.

China really is rolling heads now..look at phones,their realme and xiaomi phones as well as huawei is disrupting markets,Dji control drone markets..their cars won't be that far and their parts are especially abundant,easy to get from Alibaba..this X70 is a great starting point for the suv market

China car actually above alll competitor now just that its only focussing their own market. If you see their electric suv like NIO that able to produce 600hp selling only USD 45k that was fraction of Tesla.

He wants a 7 seater. And the Ford S-Max has been his dream family supervan, everyone in our industry knows. And the X70 cant touch the Ford when it comes to ride and handling.

U can code it at such driver can lock the door from outside by himself with keyless touch lock and go to buy something and come back open the door with the keyless touch door handle. I find this is a wonderful features so u don have to lock door by winding down window yourself.
So far I haven’t seen this on any others car maker also. Kudos for VW 👍🏻👍🏻

XC90 is humongous compared to X70. Of course different segment, but it’s huge!

Not matter how good most of the TH-cam motor journalist comment on the X70. None of them really brought it for their own use. Look like they are smart enough to wait for the other next big thing from proton to decide or they already decided. It's a wait and see game now. I feel agitated viewing it but my logic tell me that it may not the right choice yet.

This is the first time Proton utilized a Geely drivetrain and tech. Would give them a few years before jumping to conclusions. I have some slight doubts too, but let's just wait for now.
VOLVO ALWAYS THE BEST... MY EXPERIENCE MY BROTHER USE VOLVO 940GL LIMO. ONE DAY AT SPEED 180KMH WE WERE FOUR INSIDE THE CAR MY BROTHER DROVE THE CAR.. SUDDENLY ONE OF REAR TYRE BLAST EVERYONE PANIC INCLUDING ME. BUT ITS CONTROL VERY WELL NO SPINNING IT STOP WITH NO INJURIES. THATS WHY VOLVO THE SAFEST CAR IN THE WORLD. I ALWAYS LOVE VOLVO. ❤👍
