      You should use a fc (f7) which has dual camera inputs. Then you can wire the same camera to this system and then the fc and also directly to the fc without. Then you can toggle between to enable/disable combat mode.

      Yeah, it helps to have a "pattern" that everyone flies on. With 2-3 people you can usually find someone to chase by climbing high and looking around or waiting for someone to come by...and then drop in on them like a bat out of hell :)

    To have the OSD elements from both the flight controller and the Combat, I wonder if you can do it like
    Cam > FC > Combat > VTX

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe but that may introduce extra latency. Maybe a video switcher in the model?

    • @ojkolsrud1
      @ojkolsrud1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Painless360 I think it will be minimal. There is almost no latency with CAM>FC>VTX, and most of the latency probably comes from the camera itself. I'd definitely try it if I were you, especially if you feel like you're missing certain OSD elements from your FC. Having voltage on the Combat OSD is great, but I make great use out of the Betaflight OSD for my quads. Maybe a video switcher would would, like CAM>SWITCH>VTX, where SWITCH can either go to the FC or the Combat. That is additional hardware though, which I guess is okay in a large-ish plane, but probably not great in a quad. Anyway, it's a really cool product, I can't wait to see you use it in action!
