That bit where you accidentally played as Luigi in Galaxy 2 gave me an idea for another Galaxy challenge:
Play 2 copies of Galaxy at once, but one as Mario and one as Luigi. Juuuuuust different enough to mess you up, but not so different that it'll take weeks to complete.
Next: Is it possible to beat Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels at the same time?

For the effort you go through like beating mario 64 with your elbows, you deserve 1 million+ subs dude!
1:43 Not only that, but the arrows that appear between the two Star Bit/Coin Counters when it adds what you've collected to your total are wider in Galaxy 1 and thinner and Galaxy 2 for some reason, look closely. That's something I noticed as a kid because I dissected both these games (I grew up playing them simultaneously) way too much back then lol.

Just wanted to say this is a really cool series / idea, super digging it on this channel
To answer the coin and Star Bit tallys, it because the coinss had no purpose in SMG1. It only showed how many you collected in that stage.
In SMG2, you actually keep the coins, since you can use them for the Dice Luma on Starship Mario.

You can use any motion supported controller to map the motion Inputs to the gamepad via udp server. I had written a config which enables wii pointer moving, shaking and tilting

I like this new style of challenge videos.
Tip: there was a program called WiiMouse that lets you map a wiimote's IR sensor as a mouse. So using that program should let you map the "pointer" as a mouse (a sensor bar is required, but with a wii motion plus remote you can use motion controls instead of IR)

I know a lot of people have been giving suggestions about other games to finish at the same time, but here's one I haven't seen anyone suggest (or if they have, i didn't see it)

I'm sure it'd be pretty complicated at first, mainly the battles, but textboxing, cornering, and probably some new techniques could definitely get the job done.

this might hurt a bit but there is a button that stops mario from moving and this works in both games. It's the C button on the nunchuck, it's supposed to be the camera centering button (yes they put that in a mario game) but it also makes mario stop moving.
