@@LennyTheSniper I think the mod accounted for the 100 coin stars and made them appear on the 100th collected coin in the level and not when the counter reached 100 then, there's no reason why NB should cheat since this is not a competition but just a dumb challenge.

You know, for some reason, it never occurred to me that you can talk to Yoshi and get the enhanced triple jump BEFORE fighting Bowser. I always thought "Wait, he gives you a super high triple jump, but you need 120 stars to get it, which means you've already done everything, so what's the point?"

I love challenges like these. Ever since I saw Smallant try this in SMO, I've been wondering how the other Mario games would be different.
I have an idea. Try this same challenge in Galaxy but instead of coins, you lose 1 star bit every second.

The difference is that with magic armor and super sonic, you don't instantly just die (expect you're in combat in zelda, or a super sonic boss in well, sonic)
Except, the Magic armor drains two/second and the armor makes you slow when you run out

Losing coins would make more sense in the DS Remake as Wario. In Wario Land 4 after running out of time Wario starts losing coins rapidly and those are the only way to extend the time to exit the stage otherwise he gets a Time's Up message.
But with Warios love for treasure and wealth and the grey atmosphere, it's like bleeding for him to lose coins this way.
That would make wario even worse lmao

Except every level pretty much runs on Doomsday Zone logic: You run out of coins/rings and you're dead.
This was so far the most interesting challenge u have made! Sad that it is not possible. And dying at the last level is just disappointing. But great video as always!

After watching a video talking about the Mario models, I can't stop noticing the low-poly model in this game every time Mario is a bit farther away from camera. It's so funny and weird! lol
it's like super sonic without the invincibility and losing all coins actually kills you instead of going back to normal
Actually there's been Super Sonic bosses that kill you when you hit zero rings since the Doomsday zone in Sonic 3 and Knuckles and every 3D Sonic (and 2D handheld Sonic) game afterward except for Colors, Lost World, and Forces

@@keepinitlow The handheld 2D Sonic games only have Super Sonic at the final boss so by 2D Sonic you must mean the Genesis games (and Mania since it's based off the Genesis games). However Sonic 3 and Knuckles has an extra boss after Death Egg Zone if you beat the Death Egg Zone boss as Sonic with all Chaos Emeralds/Super Emeralds where you transform into Super or Hyper Sonic and fly to the right through space where there's meteors you have to dodge and rings to collect to refill your rings because they drain like normal and when you hit zero rings you die and after certain distance you get to the robot and you have to get in front of it and then hit it and then it flies away and you repeat the process. I played that boss on the DS version and it was really hard because it was so easy to run out of rings and die and then I had to restart the boss fight.
So... Super Mario?
I mean, at least this gives coins a practical use in a majority of Mario games, besides health regeneration.

In JRB, there's a total of 104 coins, DDR: 106, TTC: 128. So on and so forth. Yet you show the Hack in action with 119 stars before entering BitS.

Bowser 3, while hard, is not that notable itself. The fact that you could at least collect all the stars is, and means you could try a 120 Star% variant.
He says "something is easy" but remember anything he does is still hard to most general players.
Collecting coins is such an alien concept to me.
