alright
ok
sadly gamestop is leaving Ireland I can't buy my games anymore 😔
I went to the same park you did in Super Mario 74.
When i can tell what city you where in, in Iowa... XD
Out of all the GameStops in PA you literally went to my local one lmao
Hey Schaffrillas!
IKR. XD
He went to my local one too
The fact that he went to a gamestop in Oklahoma that I pass by pretty commonly, and there wasn't a Sonic and the Secret Rings poster anymore blew my mind.
I ligit just watched you before this video
Fun fact: there are only two escalators in the entire state of Wyoming, making it the only state to have more GameStops than escalators.
Wyoming is such a funny state

Hold up. Ain't you Nathaniel B?
The fact you spent about $2500 and only saved 50 is the most gamestop thing I've ever heard
It so is. It's not even enough for a new game.
A dollar per state.
It really is. I have like 70K points over almost a decade & that's apparently only like 60 dollars of discounts.
And if he traded in all of the games he got on his journey, he would be lucky to get 2 dollars.
@@R3D_Lantern at least you still have your points. Over a decade's worth for me and they threw it all away because I wasn't subscribed for a while
As an Ohioan myself, it was quite cool to see him go to the Steelyard Commons GameStop, one that I’ve been to a few times.
Hey I’m from Ohio too
Imposter >:( I’m the real yoshi!!
Im also from Ohio
he shoulda gone to one of the ones in cincinnati
When he was in Ohio i noticed the highway thing that they were on.
I would love to do this with independent game shops. They always have a cool promotional material to give away.
Seems like a way better idea
So are we just gonna ignore John completely disappearing for the rest of the video after day 12 lmfaooo
Hey dude I was the TSA guy who recognized you. It was actually crazy surreal to see one of my favorite TH-camrs come through. Hope carls doing well, and I love the video!
That’s awesome 🎉

Okay if you're fr... how many muslims have you done a cavity search on?
The fact he felt worse playing every Mario game in a week than driving and flying through the entire country over the course of a month scares me
Sometimes the travel is good for us gamers who stay inside all the time
To be fair, he did go to Hawaii at the start of it which likely helped a lot.

Going on an adventure like this with friends does sound amazing
Probably because traveling the entire country is a lot more free feeling than being in your house for a week on a screen

Yeah.. That would be neat..
gamespot should of sponsored him.. for all that effort

Nathaniel is single-handedly keeping Gamestop alive.
He is now under murder threat from Rich of ReviewTechUSA

@@LoginJ It was a joke given than Rich is constantly predicting Gamestop's demise and hates anything that keeps them going

Unlikely. He bought cards, which GameStop receives very little profit on if any due to volume and time it takes to sell them. Most of their profit comes from pre owned.
Ngl, this has become one of my favorite videos from Nathaniel
I found this video inspiring. I'm always sitting at home on the weekends and can hardly say I have any real friends atm.. I would like to go on a similar adventure some day.. Respect man.
Fun fact: The Gamestop you visited in Maine was my old store. I was there for six years and was originally hired as part of the grand opening crew. I had to transfer to a New Hampshire store about eight months ago (funny enough, I'm in the next town over from the NH store you visited!) and I've missed the old place a lot. Firstly, thanks for affording me a chance to see the place again. Glad to see that the new manager is keeping it in good shape. Secondly, I appreciate the kind words about it. There's a lot of me in that store and even though I don't run it anymore, I still take pride in its accomplishments.
Which store in NH was he in?? I live in NH and been trying to figure it out for hours now 😂😂
@@xMrTreeMysterx That was Rochester.
What store in Maine was it?

I'm 90% sure the south dakota store used to be an electronics boutique. Not an EB games, but the original color scheme for electronics boutique before it got rebranded/bought out. My local mall had one when I was growing up and I recognize those purple walls anywhere.
Knowing that he went to my local mall's Gamestop (the Hawaii one) is particularly surreal, especially since I hang out there quite often. It's crazy to see him talk about the fact that there is kinda a Toys R Us in Macy's like it's foreign.
i loved the Asian massage parlor there in that mall, they go the extra island

Out of anywhere in Vermont you just so happened to go to my hometown one! I rarely see TH-camrs showing off our gorgeous state so I appreciate the effort you took to drive there. And yes, usually you end up going out of the state to get back in, just apparently is always faster.

The game stops that look different on the outside have to meet whatever local codes they have for the area. I especially like seeing gas stations get forced to comply, makes for a much more unique neighborhood.
Glad to hear Carl is feeling better.
Also, props for sticking through this GameStop adventure all the way through. It was quite the endeavor to see your long drive.

yes you do because he didn't he just went to one in each state, not every one of them
@@clocknerd9930 True
Actually, to me it seemed as though he only went to one, each state?
Even the abandoned one in Tennessee!
That feeling of being unsure if the store you're trying to go to is abandoned or not is just how it feels to be in Iowa.
It's crazy knowing you went to the GameStop I used to be the manager of, right next to the Kay Jeweler's I bought my fiance's ring at.
I spent so many days going in and out of that store, to the point where it was basically my life. This video is a cool reminder of what I used to do.
Not to mention I was still the manager of the store at the time you filmed the video, since that banner hanging from the ceiling was up before I put up the Diablo 4 banner.
As someone who works at GameStop as one of the employees there, where I live very close by at, I’m surprised that you traveled all over the country, going to every GameStop you visited! That’s mad talent, my guy! You could’ve visited and went to the one that I work at in Hixson, Chattanooga Tennessee. I’m neither disappointed nor am I surprised that you didn’t go to that one, but maybe you could visit us one day! 🤣
Having grown up in Eastern North Dakota, it's funny to hear how people explain driving through the Great Plains for the first time. There's something about the several hours of straight highway with no stops until you hit the next city because it's just farmland and small towns with one gas station and a bar as the only places to go to. The fact you can always see several miles ahead of you at all times unhindered is magical. Those drives will either make you go crazy or you'll genuinely enjoy every step of the way despite looking at basically nothing.
As a North Dakotan as well, this is accurate.
I remember going to The Badlands in SD on a family trip. My parents thought the city (Rapid City or Sioux Falls?) was pretty close (pre-GPS when people used actual atlases and road signs) because they could actually see the lights. They were wrong.
Being that far from civilization is oppressive to me, and I live in North Florida where the highways are surrounded by a billion pine trees on either side. I'm pretty sure I went to the Gamestop in FL where the uploader went.
As a New Jersan/ New Yorker that sounds like the latter
i’d love to live in eastern nd, i live in central florida and while the weather is nice… there’s just TOO much going on
I would enjoy that, but only as a once in a lifetime experience, with 100 hours of quality music on my stereo and no worries about a destination, just cruising along where the road goes.
If I had to drive in that area every week for work, I would hate it within a month
I’m a West Virginia native in the Jackson county area, been watching your channel for a few months and never new you’re from around here so cool 😊
The Maryland Gamestop you went to is 30 minutes from my hometown, in the same shopping center is a 2nd and Charles that I went to a lot my senior year of high school and it used to regularly have cool stuff in stock for games. Last couple times I went was not the case.
The mall closest to that Gamestop when my family first moved to the area had a Gamestop, an EB Games and a Game Crazy. Once Gamestop started buy those companies they were all Gamestops. It's not a very big mall and at one point had 3 Gamestops in it. No longer they were struggling for a bit.
