HA! The green Walmarts are their “Neighborhood Market” variety. We have one in my hometown and honestly, it’s where we go if we don’t want the department store aspect of Walmart. Ours just does food and personal hygiene products. Green isn’t anything to worry about!
Me and my mom have a mission similar to this. We’re trying to visit the state house of all 50 states, because we have a booklet called the Capital Collection. We got our copy in New Hampshire, and we already were 4 states into the mission. Basically, each one has a stamp room, so you enter the state house, find that room, & stamp the page of the corresponding state. But if you missed a stamp, u can write to the company to send you a sticker version of it, which we did. I live in Rhode Island, and we’ve already covered all the states we can easily drive to, the farthest being Virginia(but not in 1 day!). Next, we’re gonna do Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. We’re taking this 1 short trip in our budget at a time, because we’re not made of money and energy like you.
I'm 90% sure the south dakota store used to be an electronics boutique. Not an EB games, but the original color scheme for electronics boutique before it got rebranded/bought out. My local mall had one when I was growing up and I recognize those purple walls anywhere.
It's crazy knowing you went to the GameStop I used to be the manager of, right next to the Kay Jeweler's I bought my fiance's ring at. I spent so many days going in and out of that store, to the point where it was basically my life. This video is a cool reminder of what I used to do. Not to mention I was still the manager of the store at the time you filmed the video, since that banner hanging from the ceiling was up before I put up the Diablo 4 banner.
24:20 the strip mall owners have to approve the signs that go on the building. It isn't uncommon for the owner to require all tenants have the same color channel letters. (The Verizon sign is also all white. It usually has a red check.) Source: I grew up working in a family sign business.

EB games is Australian, not Canadian.
@@Wakapat_YT was also Canadian, but recently rebranded to GameStop.
@@Mrchair734 he can come to the land down unda then
Seriously though, MAJOR respect to Nathaniel for actually doing this. This probably took TONS of dedication to do. Congrats on completing this, man
28:00 As an east texan, i can confirm people carrying things in their trucks without anything to hold them down is a common occurence
Shoutout Nathaniel for living in Virginia. As a native, it helped me relate to this journey far more than I would have otherwise. It was a genuine relief seeing a familiar environment at the end
19:20 Desert Bus vibes
Desert bus is an awesome game, you should make a video of playing it. I know you did it In Mario Kart Wii, but the original game takes a lot longer to go through im pretty sure.
Hi Troy!
Hi
Wow, TWD98 replied!
Yo
I’m sorry for Carl not only do I hope he feels better but that he’s completely healed and not have any issues
Now this makes me want to do this myself but instead of going to GameStop in every state just going to attractions and theme parks in every state. But that would definitely be a lot more expensive.
The dedication for this video is awesome and I’m glad you guys did it I hope you guys enjoyed it and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Keep up the amazing work
10:20 coming from a Rhode Islander, the city where that GameStop is (Woonsocket) is just sketchy in general so your feelings were completely valid
32:05 as a person who lives in North Carolina almost every single game stop I’ve ever been to in the state are incredibly awesome they’re all so nice here I don’t know why, but I always have appreciated it
ew south carolina is better
@@jackfromhellsgates 🗿I like my historical state besides we have Mr beast
I found this video inspiring. I'm always sitting at home on the weekends and can hardly say I have any real friends atm.. I would like to go on a similar adventure some day.. Respect man.

Bro the music adds so much to this comment
What’s the song called
I think it is from Mario
Do I stand alone in believing Nathaniel Bandy should be included in the Guinness Book of World Records for visiting every GameStop within the United States?
yes you do because he didn't he just went to one in each state, not every one of them
@@clocknerd9930 True
Actually, to me it seemed as though he only went to one, each state?
Even the abandoned one in Tennessee!
As someone who loved Ted Nivison's video on visiting every Rainforest Cafe and has never been to America, this was a fantastic road trip video! Ohio was crazy, and it was cool seeing some of the less popular states like Montana and Wyoming
Speaking of Ohio, he probably went to the worst Ohio game stop possible
Uh… what happened to john?
I really gotta appreciate Nathaniel’s dedication and commitment to every video he makes or idea he has. Spending a month, and 2,500 dollars just on games he already owns on this trip is something I don’t think I would ever want to do or even have the patience for. Kudos to you Nathaniel, keep up the great work
Edit: I also think you should keep the games you got and put them together in some special way as a way to remember this trip
24:49 “college campus for adults” isn’t college already for adults?!
Exactly 😂
College is basically a trailer for adult life
21:26 there goes the Mr. Beast collab
Lol

That's definitely an older Holiday Inn room 🤣
13:25 holes in the stop sign
Only in Ohio
@@prodSpazeY Those are vent holes that allow wind to pass through the sign. Those prevent the sign from being knocked over from the wind. Look it up its done on purpose.
That’s Ohio for you

For anyone wondering, the music at 11:50 is Dark Hollow from Spyro.
What is the music at 13:07 when the arrive at Ohio
It's driving me crazy

As an Ohioan, the motorcycles you saw are not out of the ordinary. This is legitimately an average day in Ohio.

Idk why I'm feeling joy at the fact he's going to the same gamestop I've been to pretty often. I used to volunteer at the movie theater right next to it at kahala mall in Hawaii
Edit: YOU WENT TO OUR DAVE AND BUSTERS TOO I recognize the layout, it's crystal clear in my brain
Wow that's a good eye on the D&B.... I was actually wondring where that shot was, Couldn't figure it out at first, but now that you mention it the railing is a dead give away.
I was surprised he went to Hawai'i and not Oahu
@@greensabr200 Sorry not sure if you're making a joke or you honestly can't tell. Kahala Mall and D&B are on Oahu. All evidence suggests he did not in fact go to the big island (The Hawaii island).
26:24 is this a Breaking Bad reference
15:57 My backup GameStop if the one close to me ever closes.
This really shows that Bathaniel is friends with boulders by putting party hats on the boulders
And living with them too….
3:02 That's not good, because stereo ears or surround hearing is very important because just one hear is really lonely. Especially planning to continue without Carl
Great video! Kudos to everyone involved for sticking out the journey. I know this was exhausting 😭
HA! The green Walmarts are their “Neighborhood Market” variety. We have one in my hometown and honestly, it’s where we go if we don’t want the department store aspect of Walmart. Ours just does food and personal hygiene products. Green isn’t anything to worry about!
Fun fact: Albuquerque isn't just known for being the setting of Breaking Bad. It's also where Microsoft was founded.
And Albuquerque is where Bugs Bunny was supposed to make a left turn at.
You had the perfect opportunity to call the Van the Bandywagon
“Add the stroke!”

Tru he did say that
Me and my mom have a mission similar to this.
26:04 Aaah. Hurricane, Utah. That's my home town, I live literally 3 blocks from that intersection
Also where the fnaf franchise takes place

Huh, learn something new everyday. Lived here since since '91 and had no Idea FNAF was based around here
I'm 90% sure the south dakota store used to be an electronics boutique.
It usually has a red check.)
Source: I grew up working in a family sign business.
19:02 As someone who lives in North Dakota there’s nothing special here it’s too bad I didn’t know you and Carl were doing this because it would have been cool to meet you guys

Hello sussy sans 🤯
Man seeing that Toys R Us was like seeing a childhood friend you used to hang out a lot with only to find out he had a terrible downfall and is a shell of its formerself barely hanging on to any semblance of what they used to be. It's really sad. Also love how you added Los Pollos Hermanos to the state of New Mexico lol, and you found a Shiny Walmart, nice!
There had to be at least one Gamestop worker who was like: "hold up, ain't you Nathaniel B?"

as an english person, seeing the changes between each state you visit was really interesting, considering where i live the areas really dont change that much aside from architechture
Yeah I felt that it was the exact opposite of travelling through Britain. America’s wildly diverse geographically but every single city looks the same. You can drive sea to sea in Britain and not notice much change but the cities tend to differ much more.
