I have spikes about 2 to 3 times a week since I have had chronic tinnitus for the past 3 years. I just have learned to deal with it and know it will be better tomorrow ❤. Thank you for your wisdom!!

Thank you for this video I’m 19 and have just been told last week I have tinitus. I think because my anxiety has been through the roof my tinitus has spiked and seeing this video has helped me feel a bit more grounded. Thank you

I’m sorry you have T. The most important thing for you to do is to try not to worry too much. Many people have T and live perfectly normal lives. Also you might want to consider using ear plugs when in loud situations just to protect your ears a little more . I have a website called help my tinnitus.con where you can get more info. There’s also an email contact if you want to reach out to me 👍

Great advice! I am a 40 year tinnitus veteran with multiple spikes all due to acoustic trauma and am currently dealing with a nasty spike last November due to accident with cell phone. I habituated to all prior spikes, and I am hopeful I will to this one as well; it has been 9 weeks of misery! Thanks for your tips; I am doing the same...

How long did your habituation take?

How can you tell the difference between a spike vs a new baseline?

Hi. With me it happens over long periods of time, and by then I try to not focus on where my t was as opposed to where it is now. I think that’s really key. I think letting go of the baseline volume has helped me alot .

Hi Maria. Thanks for the comment. For me habituation has always come and gone. Meaning I have spikes . When I do, I have to work on myself again to get back to habituation. That’s how it is for me. Hope that helps. Jack
