    T&H Inspiration is on a mission to share inspiring wisdom. The goal is to have you pause, think, and reflect. Many of our videos revolve around the extraordinary teachings of Alan Watts that we produce with permission from the Alan Watts Electronic University.
    T&H also films and releases original interviews with iconic people who have experienced successes, while also persevering through life's highs and lows. We look forward to sharing more of these perspectives and insights.
    Our hope with these videos is to push your thinking. As Alan Watts said “No one is more dangerously insane than one who is sane all the time: he is like a steel bridge without flexibility, and the order of his life is rigid and brittle.” - Alan Watts.

    There's something about Alan that is irreplaceable. His tone and way of speaking. His wisdom and eloquence. You never sense that he's preaching, but merely trying to open our very being, everything about us, so that we can see who we truly are, and live accordingly.❤ Brilliant scholar, and his words often bring tears. ❤ Thank you for creating this channel. It's what the world needs more of. ❤

      There will never be another person anything like him. He will live on forever , quite amazing when you think of the irony on how he talks about the purpose of life . I believe his way of speaking is because he is in the flow state he wasn’t trying , he wasn’t working he was living .he has unparalleled confidence in speaking . i feel more people need to know of him. anytime I can’t sleep, feel depressed or lonely he has gotten me through it .

      Absolutely. Sometimes while listening, it's almost as if he is speaking directly to me. It's like he and I are in the room together, just talking. These videos, his lectures and books seem to keep his spirit alive. In this way, his message transcends time and his voice echoes into eternity. ❤

    The synchronicity!!! I had a bad bout of depression the past 3 days and as I was trying to come out of the fog, I sat outside just staring at my garden plants. Didn't have a thought in my head for a couple mins & was actually surprised I didn't. I realized it is something I need to do more of...just being. Nothing more than just being. It felt amazing knowing I could actually do this! 🙏💖✨

      I find that my excitement over what seems “good” is directly proportional to the level of crisis I go into when things go south.
      What I have found, is that over time, what seems “good” when it happens is often not when looking back on it years later, and vice versa.
      I think the truth is, right now is all we have ever had, and what happens is neither good nor bad. It is both.

      @ChildofGod98765 -- First, I am sorry things are so tough for you right now. From your comment I believe you are a Christian, yes? Fyi: Alan Watts (the philosopher speaking in this video) I believe was an atheist....and a sharp critic of Christianity (all religion maybe?). That does not mean you cannot still find his words helpful (sounds like you did). Of course, Jesus of Nazareth himself, in the Sermon on the Mount, teaches that we should not worry (overthink). And Paul speaks of a similar, although Christ-centered, "stop overthinking" meditation.: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -- Philippians 4:7

    • @brianreid4169
      @brianreid4169 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +10

      Matthew 6:25-34.
      Be careful with Christianity and other people’s interpretations of it. Christians have a tendency to dwell too much on the past and place too much hope in the future. Life happens now. Focus more on the blessings that you currently have and less on the things you do not have. Do what is best for you and your kids today. No amount of worry, stress, or anxiety has ever really changed the outcome of any situation. When we live in the past, we suffer from depression. When we live for the future, we suffer from anxiety. When we live here and now, we are at peace. We can’t really live unless we live fully in the here and now.

    It's funny I have always thought like this man and I am beyond amazed how many people don't think this way I've always known we're all living for the wrong reasons humans as a race have so much more potential and spiritual awakening needs to happen and once you realize that God is really just inspiration and imagination then you can literally manifest anything you want and that's how the ancients did it because they knew all religion is is a form of control and to keep our brains dumbed down and until we let go of that we're never going anywhere but down think of how many people have wasted their lives for something like property four objects when you learn that we all have the same capabilities as God perfect example Mass healing imagine if every single human on this planet put their thoughts to 1 intentions one thought what do you think would happen whatever it is we all would think would happen it would happen we have the power within ourselves when you lay your head down at the end of the day it's just you and your head and we all are capable to manifest our own realities I was born knowing this and I'm obviously an old soul but to this day it amazes me how dumb people really are

      Try mediating for a while and you still see what he means. You start to notice your random internal monologue and stories you tell yourself that make up your perception of the world. First you realise how overwhelming they are to notice, then you realise they are not you and your mind can quieten down.

      @TallisKeeton Yo have a point -- and the comments counter-weighting your comment have a point. Ironically the people that "run with" the "stop thinking" advice are often themselves stuck in a rut...perhaps fearful of thinking because they loose control of it like a runaway train. Yes, think wisely (based on principles, intuition, and facts as best you can discern them) -- but, try to ease up and not overthink or get stuck in loops or excessive worry (some worry is inevitable and maybe necessary). In terms of facing the political dangers and the onslaught of commercial warfare (advertisement, scams, etc.) on the mind you should think clearly and smartly. Idk -- as brief as I can address your concern and the criticism of you comment by others. Okie.
