    how many pieces of charcoal do you think is enough for a couple of burgers and sides?
    also, do you recommend the small chimney or larger one

    • @romanianredneckbbq
      @romanianredneckbbq  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching. One full small chimney should be enough. I have the small and big Weber chimney and the bigger one gets the charcoal going much faster. Depends on the space you have but the bigger one is better

    I have the 2 versions (propane, charcoal). Honestly these are better than the traveler which I have and the q if you are looking for portability.

      Thank you! I love the go anyhwere, it's shape and foldable legs makes it easier to fit in my work van or car.

      @romanianredneckbbq3254 yeah this little sucker is a power house of a portable grill. And all the many after market stuff for it. It essentially became a modular grill because of its strong supporters that built stuff for it

      Yep true. Versatile grill, rotisserie, raiser, smoker, grill, anything is possible with this little one

    Very good video. Curious to know why you never used a instant read thermometer on the steaks?

    • @romanianredneckbbq
      @romanianredneckbbq  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a lot, I did use one but I didn't show on the video, one was 135ish and one was 145F when I pulled them out of the grill, it tends to go up around 5 more degrees after it's off the grill. If you have time, check my other videos too, I have a video of a huge Tomahawk ribeye steak where I showed the temperature too. Thanks again

    I found if I’m grilling steaks just to make the entire BBQ a grill. Get more colour on the steak and take off a rest. Even out a pan on top for basting.

      @@romanianredneckbbq how about roasting a big piece of beef / lamb / chicken. Could put some rub or marinade on it. May not be good for work lunch though - will take a while. Another quick work lunch could be hot dogs or something

    • @romanianredneckbbq
      @romanianredneckbbq  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely, make sure the charcoal gets red hot before you cook. How do you lit up the charchoal? Also make sure all the vents are wide open

    • @lbmartinho
      @lbmartinho 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vents open and good quality charcoal. Try Weber briquettes and their fire starter like this one in the video.

    • @thuta83
      @thuta83 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try placing charcoal close to each other. Exactly how the charcoal is arranged in this video.

      If you put less charcoal to save money you won't get the right temperature. If you want to save money, buy a gas BBQ. If you want flavour, don't hesitate to use the right amount of charcoal.

    • @romanianredneckbbq
      @romanianredneckbbq  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly. It's always better to have extra hot charcoal in the grill, you can work with it.
