Thank you! No, I've been using kingsford briquettes for 2 years, lately I got a kamado joe and using lump charchoal. I switch from time to time. Grillgrates are amazing
Good job. I did a couple of Ribeyes on my GA using the Grillgrates a couple of wks ago and they came out fantastic. I like the Grill marks but my wife doesn't, so I do hers on the flat side. You might want to check your bottom vents. It looks like it is upside down and backwards. Otherwise, great video. Ron
Thanks a lot. Not sure about the vents, I got mine already assembled. I have another Ga replacement, without the legs and vents, I will build it the right way once I have some time. I love the marks on the steaks, tastes better
No, it comes in 3 pieces that connects to each other, also comes with the spatula and also if you flip it upside down you have a flat surface for eggs, bacon and so on
@@georgecantu8040 Weber smokey Joe (14inch) I have, the fire is very hard to control because there is no airflow. You can only cook hot and fast with the lid off. Weber go anywhere is much better
Go anywhere. I have both also. The Smoky Joe is fine, but the go anywhere is super slick for indirect cooking and if you cut the grate so it fits down inside the grill for storage, you can pack a ton of stuff in it for travel grilling. I liked mine so much I bought a second one.
Thanks for these videos man they’ve helped me a ton with my Weber GA
You are welcome, thank you, I'm glad my videos are helping out
Loving these videos mate. I just bought a weber GA and your vids are helping me so much so thank you!
You are very welcome, I really appreciate it!
Its soothing man, loved it:)
I appreciate it
Great video. My grill grates are arriving today. Do you always use lump in your Go anywhere?. Keep up the great work!

Does Grill Grates make them for the Weber Go Anywhere Grill? Great cook!!!
Yes, they do. I have them for the jumbo Joe and go anywhere. Thank you !!
The upside down vents seem much easier for functionality and to view openings of the vents.
Yes, that's right.

I like the way you have the vents. You can view the port openings without bending down to see it. Appears to be easier to manage.
Thank you! Yeah the airflow is the same regardless the position of the vents. I didn't even knew its upside down till I got comments here
La multi ani! Se merita sa cumperi setul GrillGrates?

Da așa este. Am folosito pe ambele părți. Mai am un set pentru alt grătar.
It looks like you are putting on the GrillGrates directly on the GA and not on top of the original GA grate. Right? Thanks!
Yes, they fit great but the lid won't close all the way because of the lid hooks for the holder. But that's not a big issue
Thanks for sharing. Where did you get the grill grate from?
Thank you. It's called GrillGrates, they have an website or amazon
Are the grill grates all one piece?
No, it comes in 3 pieces that connects to each other, also comes with the spatula and also if you flip it upside down you have a flat surface for eggs, bacon and so on
Merci mec👍
This or Smokey joe gold/silver? Having a hard time deciding.
This. I have the smokey Joe and the coals will go out as soon as you put the lid on. It has no airflow. Weber GA is much better.
@@romanianredneckbbq by Smokey joe do u mean silver ? And thanks

Side vent slats are upside down.
Yep. That's how I got it. But I'm going to fix it
