- This is another 'Limited' Ardbeg release. I can hear the collective groaning. This Ardbeg BizarreBQ has been designed in collaboration with Christian Stevenson aka DJ BBQ, to be the ultimate BBQ Whisky. It's a vatting of spirits matured in PX, Extra Charred and the experimental BBQ casks.
This all sounds good on paper, a heavily charred PX sweetened Ardbeg could be fantastic but of course after the recent let downs I am a bit apprehensive. Let's see how it drinks. Cheers!

I love BizarreBQ!! This is a special release I actually thoroughly enjoy and I was thrilled to get 3 bottles for my own use! It's well worth the Canadian price! This is so well made and while I get annoyed with some of the poor special releases this one is a big win!! Love it so much!! I agree totally with you and Geoff @GWhisky!! Terrific review!! 🙂
Glad you liked it Christine and happy to know that you enjoyed the video. This is actually a simple recipe for Ardbeg, I don't know why they feel like they should do a special release every month with most of them being mediocre!

Wow, I always steered clear of these releases but I’ve just bought the Corryvrecken en route to Germany and I loved it so much I have the 8 year on order 😅 your one here is next on the list sounded really good, thanks for the review 🥃
Ah if you like the Corry I think you'll enjoy this one. I prefer the Corryvreckan over the Uigeadail but give that one a shot as well, there are a lot of fans out there. The 8 is ok, I did a head to head video with the Lagavulin 8 if you're interested 😃 Cheers 🥃

Well this was my third review of the day so I might've been a bit overzealous 😅 but it is really good
52 pounds seems like a bargain. Where I'm at the basic 5 YO "wee beastie" costs about as much) that's the only Ardbeg I've tried, actually (and quite enjoyed)
Mine is a weird market where some products are ridiculously cheap and then some 50£ products sell for 140-150£. We get what we get I suppose 😃🥃

Well if you think about it this is probably the least gimmicky Ardbeg special release of late and it works the best. So the recipe seems simple enough for Ardbeg to follow. Let's see how the 13 Harpy's Tale fares. Cheers John 🥃
