    Very nice. I enjoy small cars, my daily driver is a '16 Fiesta ST. Just bought my daughter a 22 Mirage SE Hatch with the Sapphire Blue paint.

      I have always liked small cars myself from the time I was a kid, 36 now. I always enjoyed cleaning our cars with my Dad and working on our cars. Has the Fiesta been a good car for you? I bet your Daughter loves her new Mirage SE!

    Great vid as always! How much was it to install the Fosgate without the Amp? Did they do it at a dealer?

    • @kmckenzie2461
      @kmckenzie2461  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I installed the amp without the subwoofer box in the trunk. It made a huge difference in clarity, bass and volume range. I keep it about 8 volume numbers lower than before it was installed and it sounds so much louder. I did it my self and it was pretty easy. Hardest part was screwing the amp up into the passenger floor kick panel cause the area is so tight where it mounts that I could only do small turns to tighten the several screws so it took a while to tighten all the mounting screws. But I had to order the amp and then the wire install kit which has all the plug and play cables that plug into auto head unit then 2 that plug into the back of amp. It also came with the subwoofer plug which I did not use or need. Then the usb rockford fosgate usb stick I bought to do the update as well which was super easy and from Mitsubishi. All of my stuff if I recall came to like $400.00 sumin.

    how often do You change the CVT fluid? Do You follow the manual or do You do it more frequently?

    • @kmckenzie2461
      @kmckenzie2461  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It should be done every 30,000 miles seems to be a good milage from what I hear. If you do this the chances of having and issue are far less likely. Five Star Mitsubishi in Altoona PA only changed $190.00 for a CVT flush and fill. I always have this done at the dealer in case I ever have issues it was done there.

      I did. I had a 2019 blue Eclipse Cross SEL Touring after the 2017 Mirage G4. I traded my Eclipse Cross on a new 2021 Mirage SE In June 2021 cause I loved the look of the new Mirage and the plaid seats. I trade every 2-3 hears and have had 6 Mitsubishis since 2015. What can I say I love Mitsubishis lol.

I have always been like that and everyone tells me I am crazy for losing out trading so soon as I know I lose out money wise but usually put cash down to offset it unless its a really good deal. I just after a couple years want the newest model. I will say that the only car I have ever wanted to buy again and again and have done so has been the Mirage of all the many cars I have owned. I have owned 3 Mirages: 2015 Mirage ES, 2017 Mirage G4 SE, 2021 Mirage SE.

    I really enjoy these kinds of videos ! Am also thinking of getting a mirage, I live in Canada where the mirage costs around 18k CAD after taxes. Would you say that's a good price for a base model manual ? And I was wondering if the mirage would hold well in the snow ? I saw some videos and it seemed alright

      The Mirage is a really good value. Comes with a ton of standard features, I know it varies between USA and Canada a bit. They have a great warranty and get great MPGs. They are very reliable and yes they do very good in the snow. Every Mirage I have owned hatch and sedan has done perfectly well in several inches of snow, sleet and rain. They are good little cars with a small basic engine that will run a long time.

      Yea they are great cars I have owned 3 Mirages, my co worker - friend has owned 3 now too and her 2015 Mirage ES CVT she had for 5.5 years and not 1 issue! I have 5,000 miles on my 2021 Mirage SE now and have had no issues and have had none with any of mu Mirages. They have a time tested powertrain and platform that has been out since 2012 over seas as a 2013 model and here in the USA since 2013 as a 2014 model and its proven to be very reliable. The design of the car and its engine is very simple and basic with very little to go wrong. They made a good many updates in 2017 then in 2021 model years and the 2021 model year updates really made a lot of little things better. Sure they are not the most quiet, fast or refined car and they are not meant to be and its has its neat little quirks. They are reliable, loaded with features, have a long warranty, get amazing mpg, have good safety features now standard on base trims and upper top trims get even more standard safety features and has a simple design built to last and be trouble free. The longer you own the Mirage the more you will love it.

      I buy a new car every 2-3 years and trade and have owned subcompact, compact and midsize sedans, hatchbacks, suvs, 2 doors and so on and have never bought or wanted the same new car more than once until the Mirage. I just love them. No they are great cars and have owned 3 now as you know and my co worker Kay has owned 3 and is the only car she will buy now also. Just something about them I love and now the new ones are so feature packed! I love all the cosmetic upgrades inside and out to the top trim SE like mine so you know its a top trim.

      @@djkenny1202 My 2013 Hyundai Elantra I had under 2 years and it was nothing but problems. Worst car I ever owned. Got rid of it with 13,000 miles on it, bad steering rack knocking and clunking had to be replaced, timing belt issues in twice for it , would stick in park was towed twice, transmission issues numerous software updates, randomly would not start. I hated that car and it was bought new. My 03 Hyundai Accent had transmission issues 2 different times. All of our Mitsus have been trouble free. My coworker had her 2015 Mirage 5 years with no issues.

      Yea they are great cars. I have owned 3 now and co worker has owned 3 and yes they are great cars. My 2021 has no rattles and is quieter and smoother than the 2015 and 2017 I had. The 2021-2023 models are nice little vehicle. Look up online the 414,000 mile Mirage. Thats a good price for todays standards. There are used Mirages on carvana going for $18,000.00 to $21,000.00 regularly online and new car discounts are scarce so thats a good price and you get a reliable new car, tons of standard features, and a long warranty. Just take care of it and it will last you a long long time! Its cheaper to by them new now and a much better price with todays market as it is now. I love My 2021 Mirage SE and have had it 16 months now.
