    Nice video. I have a Mirage Hatch which I love. It’s got a personality all its own & fun to drive. 😊

    Interesting and pleasant drive. Is there anyway to black out that awful distracting laptop in the dash? Or do you need to make some type of cloth cover? :)

    What MPG do you get in the city? You know, stop lights, but the traffic moves around 40 MPH, if you speed up from the stop lights a bit slow? Like 2-3k RPM. Thanks!
    Or is that 46 MPG you where getting in the video roughly what you get in the city?

      @kmckenzie2461  ปีที่แล้ว

      At speeds around 40 MPH and stop lights here and there in between yes you can easily get in the mid 40s for MPG no problem. In stop and go slow city traffic and light after light you will get in the mid 30s for MPG.

    You're back!!! Not sure if I have asked this before, anyways how are the white LED headlights on rainy nights on dark roads with no street lights?

      Thank you! Sorry been working alot. The led lights are great especially high beams. They work great in rainy conditions and fog also. The fog lights really help and provide a great deal of additional light for such small lights but they help alot too.
      I never knew it till someone on here explained that the driver side headlight beam is set slightly lower than the passenger side headlight beam to stop from blinding oncoming cars. Now standing in front of the car at a far distance they look aligned perfectly even but you can see the driver side is slightly lower on the beam pattern on the road. Even if you align them to the exact same height it still shines slightly less on the road due to a built in shield. Our Eclipse Cross is way more noticeable in its beam pattern with passenger beam shining much further but I raised the driver side adjustment a tad on my Mirage to be just a little lower than driver side as it was a good deal lower before. I never knew this. I read online then and they explain it and on all the IIHS crash testing of cars on their site list headlight ratings for each car and you can see on the chart ratings how much more the passenger beams shine further. Now on high beam its gives the full light all over and even. Its more noticeable on projector beam led lights than reflector type led lights as projectors focus the light more.

    Those LED's look surprisingly good, they seem to ccover a lot of ground for such a small cheap econobox!
    Ordered my own this week, should get it by the end of the month!
    it's going to be my first car that's mine, so I won't need to constantly ask family members for theirs when I need wheels.
    can't wait to drive this thing, it seems like it drives almost like a go kart of sort from the many videos i've seen!
    How's your experience driving it around town? the small size and short turning seems like it's going to be a huge advantage in towns, or heck, anywhere if you need to turn around on the spot!

      Oh its a great little car. The ride is surprisingly absorbent for a small car and takes bumps well. It has such a sharp turning radius you can get in and out of anywhere lol. Its zippy in town. You will love it. Thats awesome you will have your own car and it has a nice long warranty but they are really reliable cars I have had 3 Mirages now I love them. What trim did you get and what color? The headlights are really good for such a little subcompact car.

      @@kmckenzie2461 Hey Kenzie, I ordered a "diamond white" SE edition, here it's called "premium" but it's basically the SE edition with the red strips up front and keyless engine start button, LED lights and slightly nicer seats.
      ill probably ask for new mats for the 2 front seats as i've seen the regular mats that come with the car are kinda small, it's starting to rain here so I'd like to get something slightly better to keep mud at bay, and maybe one of those bottom plastic covers for the baggage/trunk, i've seen one with a Mitsubishi logo that looks nice on a few Mirage's
      maybe also get some interior red colored accessories for style, I think white with red looks good, ill go with the theme of red like the SE edition red strips!

      @@Trixie_I Wow that is awesome! Good for you! Check out AliExpress online as they have tons of accessories for the Mirage mats and all just anything you can think of. The White Diamond color is so beautiful and glad you got an higher trim level as its worth it with all the extras features and premium touches you get. Plus I love the push start button! I am happy for you!

      @@kmckenzie2461 You were right, I checked out Aliexpress and they had WAY more stuff for the car than ebay, even small arm and leg rests with Space Star engravings/emblems, ordered a bunch of stuff, can't wait to get the car and customize it a little bit!
      ill report back once I get the car, hopefully it arrives this week.

      @@Trixie_I Hahaha that is awesome! Im happy for you! I order on there alot it takes a like 3 weeks to get to me here in Maryland in the USA cause its from other countries but I don’t mind the wait for all the neat things you can find that they sell for these cars in other countries!!! Keep me updated! Take care!

  • @lockdot2

    They are pretty neat! What MPG do you get on the freeway, with cruise control at around 55-60 MPH? I ask as I drive that fast on the freeway with cruise control, in the right lane. And do a lot of freeway driving.
    Also how have you been?

    • @kmckenzie2461
      @kmckenzie2461  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well at that speed and with cruise on you can easily break 50 mpg. My friend Kay drives feom Hyndman PA to Cumberland for work in her 2021 Mirage G4 SE CVT and the average speed on that trip is around 50 mph and here average mpg when she gets to work and when she gets home says between 48-50 mpg on the cars trip. There are some hills and a few stop and goes in town but for 80% of the trip its a constant 50 mph speed. These cars do great mpg wise. I have been good hope you are as well!

    With how insane gas prices are and how little driving I do out of the city this is becoming the perfect car to get.

      Yea gas prices and car prices are freakin nuts. The Mirage is a winner in both aspects lol
