    I seriously don't comment that often....But I can not resist myself here after watching your videos....the amount of clarity and genius one requires to understand these complicated topics is of great deal.....I can not understand how someone can so simply explain this topic ensuring zero doubts in the minds of the viewers by the end of the video.....
    keep going and never stop making such videos...it is a blessing for all of us...
    I had doubt about "the easterly jet streams" and i had marked that passage with an asterisk in NCERT...it got 100% clear now....Thanks and huge respect and appreciation sir...

    I have a question.Anticyclone is a high pressure region so how does this move upwards southern limb of jetstream and even if does anticyclone itself a high pressure region. So there will be still be a high pressure region?
    Please reply

    • @zetaupsc
      @zetaupsc  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The anticylone discussed here is an upper atmosphere anticylone so it will create a low pressure on surface, this attracting monsoon winds. However the main effect is dislodging the high pressure system on surface created by southern jetstream.
      Now how does jetstream moves, if you have seene the jetstream video then the jetstream is created by balance between pressure gradient and coriolis force. The pressure gradient is disturbed by formation of anticyclone thus weakening the jetstream and causiyit to move. You can see that in our video on monsoon with real weather data

    Sir Why is the easterly jet stream created? and why does it move the way it moves? What is the source of High pressure in the Indo china area?

    • @zetaupsc
      @zetaupsc  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Easterly jetstream is created because a part of anticyclonic winds is moved towards African subcontinent. The high pressure in upper atmosphere is believed to be created by heating of Tibetan plateau but many research papers disagree.

      @@zetaupsc sir why is the high pressure created wind created in the Indo china region?? Also why does the wind move towards Africa??

    • @zetaupsc

      @@sandeepthakur1483 I guess I have already described about High pressure over indinchin. And that the cause is not completely understood. There are some research papers available you can search and refer them. For why easterly jetstream is formed, there are wind circular patterns in world and there is a descending branch over Africa thus creating a low pressure in upper atmosphere, there is also mascarene High

    And why is it moving towards Himalayas to push the jet stream ?

    • @zetaupsc

      Exact phenomena for its creatis still unknown, the anticyclone starts to expand and it expands.in north consuming the pressure system creating jet stream, thus anticyclone grows pushing the jerstream north

    Sir generally, we say that October's heat is more intense than the actual heat present during the summer season (June to September), because the monsoon season has just ended and the cloud cover that blocked insolation between June and September is gone.
    So can we say that the heat felt by India during April-May, when the sun starts its northward apparent movement from march to align overhead at the Tropic of Cancer in June, is as intense as the October's heat?

    • @zetaupsc
      @zetaupsc  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      from march equinox to september equinox, the sun remains over northern hemisphere, peaking in june where it lies on tropic of cancer. So the amount of insolation received in north hemisphere is max in march to september. However, from june to september, most of the insolation is reflected back due to cloudiness.
      However, in october the clouds clear but the sun is now over southern hemisphere, thus the overall insolation (solar radiation) received by northern hemisphere reduces drastically, but, in months of october we see increased humidity compared to april and may and no cloudiness compared to june to september. The moisture is one of the most powerful green house gas. So whatever heat is received, a very high proportion of it is absorbed by lower atmosphere because moisture is present in lower atmoshere hence we feel more heat. even though the amount of radiation from sun has greatly reduced.

    • @HKas-u4r
      @HKas-u4r หลายเดือนก่อน

      @zetaupsc Thank you sir, now I understood that due to withdrawal of SW monsoon from september, there is still moisture present in atmosphere in month of October which trap the heat near surface and increases the temperature in month of October.

    • @zetaupsc
      @zetaupsc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks dear,
      Most of rains due to monsoon is orographic, i .e. caused by mountains blocking winds. Oman as much I know, do not have major mountains that can block winds. Moreover, Oman is on eastern boundary, therefore monsoon winds blow from land to sea.
      I don't have adequate knowledge about Oman climate, therefore me making video on it will not b helpful

    • @geo3106
      @geo3106 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KhalidAlMazrouaiBecause of the Coriolis force, the northbound winds flow from west to east, carrying moisture from the Indian ocean (ending at Arabian sea) towards India, while the same type of wind brings hot and dry shamal winds from the northern Arabian peninsula and the Sahara desert.
      The boundary where Hadley and Ferrel cells converge and air moves downwards is called the subtropical high. The reason why this high pressure belt is so established over certain areas, such as the Sahara and Arabian desert, is because surrounding low pressure areas such as the trade winds in the east and the monsoon winds in the west draw air away at low altitudes and feed air at high altitudes, reinforcing the existing system and preventing the formation of low pressure. Because moisture is pushed away, the weather remains mostly clear, and combined with the bare ground and intense summer sunlight, the ground heats up, increasing the air temperature and further decreasing the relative humidity.
      This air then flows towards the ITCZ in the south and west during the summer season, creating shamal winds.
