The Indian monsoons have always been a fascination of mine. I had a friend a long time ago in Kerala name Elson, and from this video, I see why he called the monsoons "sexy". I always thought it was strange he used that word to describe a monsoon, but I see the justice of it all, now. Monsoon is the time for love and celebration of the renewed life.
It's not only sexy but brings very blissful feeling with all plants bathed and looks even more beautiful, pleasant @ night it has a most beautiful natural cosmic music for sleep comfort.

I’m part Indian and was born in Kerala where my mom is from. I befriended a Pakistani from Islamabad who attended my school in Florida. We became good friends; my mom did not like the fact that I was friends with someone from Pakistan, but after she learned that he taught me how to cook not just Pakistani cuisine, but also Indian food, she changed her opinion. The whole Pakistan-India conflict is beyond me, it’s like two siblings having an argument for no good reason. One of my favorite quotes from One Love Manchester should apply here; “Don’t move forward in anger, love spreads.”
I was born in the south western state of Kerala in the city of Cochin, my mom is from the city of Alleppey. I spent most of my life in Miami, FL and because of this I never realized the beauty of the Indian monsoon… I now live in Seattle, WA and dearly miss the torrential tropical rains and storms both Florida and southwest India have to offer. I can’t wait to return to Kerala (Quilon) and enjoy a warm cup of Indian cardamom tea, listening to the sounds of rain and thunder, falling asleep in the process. A peace and calm that can’t be done justice through words!

The answer to the question would entail state secrets. The Indian economy is heavily reliant on this information. This is why the director only answered "yes" and the man prior refused any answer other than saying to ask the director; stating "if I say anything it could cause problems."

While the monsoon poses serious threats to life and possessions, storage of this water in lakes for later use in agriculture and power generation should be explored by the governments of countries affected.
In north India himachal.. in summers here monsoon comes if monsoon is week then western disturbance comes ... in north India himachal we experience rain in. Through year .. and in winter we experience snow here
Same !! Here in North East India, the local winds of KAAL BAISAKHI acts as message carriers for the arrival of the king , the Monsoons, and it continues till September. During the return of the monsoons, in the October. We get even more rain ! And how can I forget about the cold wet season! It rains here even in the January.❤❤❤ Take love ❤❤
Why not dig many large tunnels thru the mountains to take some of the monsoon waters from the side which experiences flooding to the other side which experiences drought? The sides of the mountains on the rainy side could be terraced to direct the water descending from the mountains to the inlet of such tunnels. And, if the inlets on the rainy side are sufficiently higher than the outlets on the dry side, the force of the water through the sloped tunnels could generate electricity. Such a project, properly done, could ease flooding on the windward side of the mountains and the massive amounts of water stored in a network of giant canals on the leeward side could increase agriculture and aquaculture and ease droughts. Heaven on earth. That should be quick and easy to do using some of the billion+ Indians, don't you think? Cheers and all the very best.🙃😉
Many rivers do flow towards the eastern plains from the western Ghats; some rivers also flow along west coast - these are of immense value to the ecology. Even railways and high ways have to get the environmental clearance.
When the monsoon arrives, it stirs up the human activity into a frenzy; it is time to sow and pray to Gods for good crops like we have done over the millennia. The smells, the joy, spring to our steps - monsoon is the emotion of India. You can't describe it, but you can only experience it.
Monsoon is the only way for India land to get water whether for agriculture or drink, therefore India land must have lots of vegetation to retain the water during monsoon season, if not drought will happpen in large scale in India, I heard it from Sadhguru, the Indian Yogi who started the Cauvery Calling to save the Indian soil and river !!!
33:54 Really? Not every Hindi film has a woman wearing a sari, let alone having a wet sari scene. Really wish people would stop making such sweeping statements. It might seem like a petty matter but that’s just the kind of generalization that generates stereotypes. And in extreme cases people have lost their lives - a Sikh man was killed in the USA, following 9/11 because some ignorant person thought he was a Taliban.
You have to see in monsoon the sun activity on the ocean of evaporation then after accumulation reversion trough rainfalls , water is life but the sun is it source .
Yes, its the Pledge - there is a line in it as follows: "All Indians are my brothers and sisters" after which most of us would silently say 'except one' :-)

India is a superpower. Can't they build pipes to catch and send some water over or through the mountains to the dryer region? USA takes water from far away and sends to dryer states.
Very interesting documentary, and many themes emerged. It's nice to see that religion isn't a matter of separation at least in some places, and that the act of killing animals (probably for survival in this situation) can at least bring people together. In other cases, it's sad to see a cobra being killed, although I don't know what choice these people have. And at the very end, the mention of rhynos, it just makes me think how sad it is for animals, to be running not only from nature (which is neutral in itself), but from humans (which aren't neutral at all). I find rain fascinating, but I can't help but notice how inequalities made by humans are worsened by climate conditions. Anyway, nice one!
Nature neutral? IDTS it's survival of the most fit, eat or be eaten, run or stand and fight. Nature can never be neutral or static no matter how small or large the gain, nature is always moving and Beautiful beyond our comprehension. God Is Real. Jesus lives and loves you
@@childoftruth1738 I meant neutral in the sense of intention and purpose. Nature doesn't want anyone killed, it simply is what it is. If in a rainy day a mountain collapses and kill animals and people who were passing by, it's not nature's "fault". Now humans, they really want to kill and destroy things in all kinds of ways, for all kinds of purposes. Like in the video, hunting rhynos.
