In this video we'll learn about Western Disturbance and its effect and benefits on the Indian agriculture of Rabi crops. Western disturbance originates in the Mediterranean region. And the Mediterranean region lies in the subtropical region. Generally in between 25 and 35 degrees north and south latitude you will find the subtropical region which is a high pressure belt.

After the mid February gradually Summer season comes in India so creating low pressure (which is surface level phenomenon - let say low pressure 1) over north Western part of Himalayan ( Punjab ,haryana ,hp and Delhi).
As summer emerges sub tropical Westerly jet stream move ahead of northern Himalayan which inturn drag away the western disturbance northward(which is the upper surface phenomenon - let say high pressure 2)
Please confirm that whether I'm right about the concept I stated above. If I'm right please clear the doubt in it....
Is pressure gradients works in cross ( that is from high pressure 2 to low pressure 1)
Even if it happen when the air descends it have ll get heated up then how it causing rain over the low lying areas.....
