Extremely well explained and edited, it almost seems as if your reading off a teleprompter. Good video Kevin, I've missed hundreds of clips because I haven't done the simple research and this will help immensly.
Hi Kevin. Wow, this is amazing. I just getting back into learning PC/Windows again on my new high end gaming laptop. Let me tell you are one of the best, if not thee best presentation on how to do stuff. You pretty much get to the point, and you put markers or links to many things. It's a pleasure watching your vids. I hope you continue to keep up these high end recordings on how to do things. I still am an all out apple man, although I am enjoying getting back into windows with your help. May our Lord continue to bless you...Thanks.
Another freshly baked video! Well lots of fun features included in NVIDIA. I personally think this is the best app to record games. OBS is so good but with the features included in NVIDIA this is definitely the best to record games. Top-notch walkthrough once again.
Very nice video with a straightforward explanation. Tired of people with a minute-long intro followed by selling stuff then an hour-long explanation that could take 10 min
Bruh look at this man 1.71M subscribers best editor and looks so serious about TH-cam. if you're not sure about anything as if its a virus if this man said it was fine. Its guaranteed it is
So....Did You get it? Cause it comes with any Nvidia graphics card...You know cause he said that in like the first 10 seconds of the video.....anyways......Good luck! 😁
I have watched a few videos and noone explained it as well as you, I am hoping this works to record Roblox Studio, not sure if I have to add it somewhere or if it will just record anything.
Thank you for this! I don't know how, but my cat accidentally turned on GeForce Experience instant replay when he decided to sit on my computer and the hud was getting in my way while playing games! And I was able to figure out how to turn that off with your help.
Thanks for for this awesome Tutorial! I remembered having a free video recording software on my laptop and it is not Xbox Game Bar. Just can't remember what it is and for some reason thought i was using Killer Control Center :))) Glad I searched for *_NVIDIA_*
Everytime I record chrome/desktop, my video is sized weirdly. The screen is small and in the top left corner with something else in the background. Is there anything I can do?
The NVIDIA sticker is on my laptop, but I didn't know what it was for. I had no idea I had another screen recorder on my laptop! That makes three that I know of. I also have the X-Box Game Bar and OBS Studio.
Thanks! I'll give ShadowPlay a try. I took notes of the shortcut keys, configurations and settings. I've worked with DaVinci Resolve Free before, but like you say, it's very complicated. I'm using Shotcut now, both of which have lots of help that's easily found online. Shotcut has a forum, and I'm sure DaVinci Resolve does, too. So far, I've found all the help I've needed in a Google search. I've used DaVinci Resolve to make animated GIFs; one that had two animated GIFs on a single webpage that I reproduced for a product review to be posted on some forums. The background of the webpage was a still image. I found the help for it, but it only showed doing it with one on a still background, so I had to figure out how to get both started, playing and ending together at the same time. I did it by staggering single frames of each, starting with the 1st frame of one at the top, the 1st the other below, etc. One was slightly shorter than the other, so I duplicated the first and last few frames of the shorter one to fill in. It worked out great! I couldn't see a difference. So far, Shotcut is doing what I need with videos. Thanks again, Kevin!
I'm new to the world of PC Gaming and using my NVIDIA graphics card. I just have a couple of questions if anyone can answer, would be greatly appreciated: 1) Can you only record 20 minutes of game play at a time? 2) Does capturing footage impact the games overall performance i.e. lag, FPS drops etc.?
1) I'm not sure, I believe 20 minutes is only the max when it comes down to instant replay. 2) If you have a decent PC it shouldn't impact it alot, however if you're pc is somewhat outdated it might lower your fps depending on how high your settings are.
"Today" firstly that was a surprise package! Sadly I do not have a graphics Card. But the next time I'm purchasing sure going with a graphics card. But honestly I'd suggest Nvidia graphics card for high end gaming because the experience is first class! But the OBS would do the job for the others. And again spell bounding tutorial Kevin! But honestly I miss "Hi Everyone Kevin Here". 😅
Ha, changing things up! I'm looking at how to minimize drop off at the beginning of videos. I'm experimenting with eliminating the greeting and jumping straight to the content.
I'm using a laptop. so I also play games on it. can you do a video of how to record games sin laptops as Nvidia graphic cards cannot be inserted into laptops.
Thank you for the video! Can it do a partial screen capture on a 2nd monitor? It always starts up as window-on-top on my monitor 1 when I would like to record a 720p area on my 2nd 1080p monitor! thank you!
It needs an overlay seen only by the user (not incorporated with the video being recorded) that stays on the screen and notifies you that screen recording is in progress. This software still needs improvement.
I tried Shadowplay and it picks up my voice and game audio and set it to separate both tracks, then when I listen to it in my folder I can hear both game and mic audio but when I bring it to my editing software it doesn't bring in the audio for either.
I love this software. It's just too bad it automatically pauses the stream if you alt-tab to the desktop and also auto-closes the stream if you close the game you're streaming. It's good to have the option to auto-pause/auto-close the stream if you abandon the game but it should be optional. Most streamers don't want their stream to end if their game crashes, for instance...
great. can you make a similiar video using another software than Nvidia shadowplay. why. cause it is bugged. it either records black screen. or length of videos is not as changed in the settings. and a ton of other issues when using multiple monitors. merry Christmas

Thank you so much! You have explained it very well. 👍👍
Thanks so much for the tutorial. I hope to record PC gameplay of Need for Speed.
It helps me a lot. Thanks!
Thank you! I used medal and gyg and they started being choppy. Now when I clip it’s perfect and all smooth!
Thank you for explaining
Everytime I record chrome/desktop, my video is sized weirdly. The screen is small and in the top left corner with something else in the background. Is there anything I can do?
Absolutely Perfect clear easy to understand and professional! Thanks Mike

Oh my God thank you my sister is not gonna kill me🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You're amazing bro! Need to figure out how to get Discord audio to be included.
Thank you very much helped me out alot
Thing that you didn`t mention: IT DOESNT ALLOW YOU TO RECORD DESKTOP - ONLY GAMES
How do I record the screen when not playing a game? It keeps saying no game open.
is it a laptop?
The NVIDIA sticker is on my laptop, but I didn't know what it was for. I had no idea I had another screen recorder on my laptop! That makes three that I know of. I also have the X-Box Game Bar and OBS Studio.
super helpful, thanks!

thank you for sharing this video
Thank you so very much for not explaining how to turn on the Record feature without a support game.
Thankyou brother!
Hi, I am using AMD. Can you do a video on Radeon video capturing?
Thank you so much !
I wanted to more option in camera, I understand that we can use chroma key and use greens screen?
Is there a way to set it to only record the game and not anything else on your screen and you alt-tab to browser and whatever else during recordings?

@@KevinStratvert Yep, it would have a better retention but with less engagement cause I'd loop "HI Everyone Kevin Here" 5 times...I love it!
@@JustBlankNoInfo ha, I’ll have to keep that in mind! I also figured people probably know my name by now 😂
@Kevin Stratvert Aww Snap! You nailed the pin down😂😂😂
thanks for the video but how to remove the cursor bar from the videos ?
You haven't explained how to record the screen though :(
At 2:27 he explains how you can press the start key to start recording or the smart key of Alt+F9 and you do the same to stop recording
@@ashjay9395 That only works for recording the game but not recording the screen.
@@ashjay9395 how do you Increase the recording
Use ur brain sometimes
U can if ugo on full screen :)))
what if the in game overlay button doesnt show up
im playing a game using only window mode .. how can i video record the game only without recording the whole full screen monitor?
what mouse cursor highlight tool you use ?
I'm using a laptop. so I also play games on it. can you do a video of how to record games sin laptops as Nvidia graphic cards cannot be inserted into laptops.
you could ‘insert’ a gpu using an external eGpu enclosure
record using obs
@@YISTECH thanks for the advice but OBS is not supporting my game.
Can you make a video on getting it to work with reshade…. I can’t figure it out once reshade pops up it turns off…
Thank you for the video! Can it do a partial screen capture on a 2nd monitor? It always starts up as window-on-top on my monitor 1 when I would like to record a 720p area on my 2nd 1080p monitor! thank you!
One of the best video.
Im on Mac so apparently its not supported, but GOD DAMN your city is beautiful man
It needs an overlay seen only by the user (not incorporated with the video being recorded) that stays on the screen and notifies you that screen recording is in progress. This software still needs improvement.
Awesome & Thanks :)
guides and genshin impact, thx so much
Is it possible to record on 2 monitors at the same time
So u cant take clip from the last minute on your desktop?
Thanks but how do you do not wish to record in full screen...Only a window from a server or TH-cam for example?
I tried Shadowplay and it picks up my voice and game audio and set it to separate both tracks, then when I listen to it in my folder I can hear both game and mic audio but when I bring it to my editing software it doesn't bring in the audio for either.
Ur lucky I only can hear my mic and no game sound
it's amazingly explained but the only problem i have with this is that too much stuff is needed to start the program.
I love this software. It's just too bad it automatically pauses the stream if you alt-tab to the desktop and also auto-closes the stream if you close the game you're streaming. It's good to have the option to auto-pause/auto-close the stream if you abandon the game but it should be optional. I think that they recently added an option to not stop recording the desktop once you alt-tab, which is great.
