      Thanks Ron it's a really great experience. Tonight I actually got the head installed and all the head bolts torqued. That video will be up in a few days. When I'm done this is going to be the only comprehensive om617 build on TH-cam. I'm trying to cover every little detail.

    The Germans arent beyond making communication mistakes between the engineer and the detailer on those drawings, I found several mistakes along the way rebuilding Porsche engines. Thanks for the video, I rebuilt an OM about five years ago, Parts are getting scarce,

    What’s the torque spec for the timing device bolt?

      I actually don't recall a torque spec but it's not incredibly tight just snug it up really good no need to crank down on it. As I recall it's a left hand threaded bolt so it can't come loose when spinning.
