I dont have a wave mic but I have a redragon mic and these tips still helped me a lot. My friends are saying that new mic settings are way better than my old one and my old headset mic.

Yup tried it with rtx voice and it does a perfect job even if you have a gtx card it still works if you follow the instruction

wave 3 paired with nvidia broadcast is so good. i also love the mixer concept. now all my audio on stream is one channel in obs, but i can control it so much easier, and i especially love that it allows me to listen to music without it playing on stream cuz yknow... DMCA
what can the wave 3 and nvidia broadcast do together? I have one and havent tried that yet

A product with a Great 4k 60 Camera, Lighting, and Microphone just like the Wave 1 and 3
PS - Camera could be a 4k 60 with a depth sensor with a noise reduction, AI video portrait blur, and Chroma Key feature)
that sounds expensive as all hell.
What about a slight static noise? I have the Blue Yeti and even with no bg noise there's usually always that something you can hear after I'm done making a sound. Then a second or 2 after it goes silent ( With no noise/bg noise ). Does the Wave 1/3 have this issue as well? I assume/assumed all USB Mics have this issue.
I LOVE ELGATO products and am a new customer, who has kind of gone all in from Stream Deck, to now the mic 3, ad I am not a streamer, just using it to do educational training videos using Camtasia for doctors. My question is: Should I set the output to just the ELGATO mic 3, or the stream output. I don’t even use or have installed any streaming software, so it would seem to use only the mic as the output, put if I do it that way, I may not get the benefit of the Wavelink software?
Thank you for the video. I am thinking to get Wave 3. I am not a streamer, I will use it for Zoom meetings and also (for better sound) in video recordings.
Sometimes I need to stand up and explain things on a board. If Wave 3 sits on the table (1.5 - 2 meters far from me) will my sound be audible well to Zoom participants?
Short answer is yes. You could turn the gain up when walking away or set up the mic at an equal distance so you don't have to play with the gain. If this would be in a noisy environment the video's recommendation of using RTX Voice or other software like Krisp is a great suggestion.
Long answer,
From my research and testing, condenser mics like the Wave 3 are more sensitive than dynamic mics. Which basically means 2 things, they require less gain to pick up your voice, aiding your use case, but like the video explained this also means it's more prone to pick up background noise. If you ask me, a wireless Lapel microphone sounds more suitable to your use case. Man am I late, but if someone else had this question I hope this was of help.

Can I used the extention arm and the shock mount? I unfortunately do not have a table or spot around me that will support a clamped arm... what's the best option for me here?
Need help, i can't seem to use my wireless steelseries siberia 840 with wavelink, the sound just won't come out from my wireless speaker, I tried using an external speaker and using a wired headset (kingston) and it works fine.
Where and how on OBS can I ensure my voice hits the correct decimals?
Are there still plans to add a noise gate and noise suppression like features within the wave link panel instead of relaying on 3rd party software? and if yes, how soon does Elgato plan on releasing this software. 100% would buy it for 5$ more instead of running my Elgato Wave 3 through more programs which cause my lightweight setup to stress out.
@Xtra Xllence Are you asking because your experiencing a lot of background noise? If so, did you fix it and how? I just got this mic and it picks up all the noise in the background.

I'm getting a latency issue of a few ms... extremely frustrating.
I got this yesterday and the software is confusing to me, and trying to set it up with streamlabs obs to minimise background noise and have good quality was hard in my opinion. Trying to get music, game picture/audio and discord on the stream was hard

It's not really that hard to use it just dont follow at all the tutorials and just wing it, i have all my audio seperate via the vac from elgato, since all of video's saying use the streammix for all you audio blablabla but then you cant record at the same time without the music, voice and all the other shit you dont want in your recordings

looks like the Rode PSA1 - just be aware the wave 3 needs the shock mount with the PSA1 as it has a minimum weight for the spring mechanism
it also barely passes that weight minimum so you might need to tighten a few bolts to stop it turning into a catapult

Monitoring mine voice is really important to me, but if the gain goes above the first dot i can hear echo, am I doing something wrong, the monitoring is supposed to be zero latency right? (I have headphones plugged into back of mic)

As someone who loves the features wave link gives me as well as the noise suppression of Nvidia, I'd love to be able to use both to optimize my audio and production.

What micarm do you use?
Having an issue with hearing everything twice, was adding wavelinks to apps such as apple music, discord voice chat, game audio, and my voice. Both my stream and myself could hear everything twice, not like an echo but like a playback a half a second later. If someone could please address a fix for this that would be great.
Not a pro, but could it be you had two audio signals on loud? Destop Audio and another output? You might want to play around with that. We had a similar issue once and we just had to remove one of the audio outputs :D
My wave 3 just isn't picking up any audio and the audio/gain identifier in the software doesn't show it either
When the RTX Noise Suppression plugin will be available for mac os? The captured noise from this mic is so annoying me :(
Nvidia Broadcast is a Windows only application/requires RTX cards to power them. For Mac Wave Link supports Audio Unit plugins so you may be able to find a comparable AU to help with noise cancelling.
Can somebody tell me what mic arm is used in the promotinal videos? I can't find it anywhere. Almost looks like a monitor arm.

how do i completly disable the voice monitoring - i dont not wanna hear my own voice
I would like to know how it is the Wave 3 sound out of the box because I just bought it and even with gain at minimum it captures a lot of background noise and even the clicking of the mouse is super loud. The only way is relying on OBS filters but I would like to remove background noise from my monitor channel in wawelink as well. Is it possible?
You need a noise gate and suppression in your recording software. This kills the background noise for the most part.

Micarms are like 5-10 bucks on ebay- just get one of those, they aint expensive at all.
Experience has taught me that with audio the less software you use the better it will be.
Can anyone help me? I recently bought a microphone that came withe a soundcard but when i record myself the voice isnt stable... it's like my voice fades in and out word after word.... the soundcard has many buttons like truble, bass, record, music, monitor, elimination, shock wave, mc and dodge... can anyone help me out?
