A simple, yet massive upgrade to a toturial like this, would be to ACTUALLY let us hear, how the mic sounds with your tweaks.... I know it sounds like rocket science.
im having a huge issue with the software, My audio isnt connecting to the channels even thhough ive done it the correct way and every time i restart my PC i have to connect everything again. this is becoming a huge hassle for me
i had the same thing, i basically just lowered my input gain to like under half, enabled all three settings (lowcut filter, gain lock, clipguard) and that pretty much worked for me, the mics not picking up much background sound now
@@rubne they have an integrated plugin for it now, but sometimes (maybe its just me) it makes me sound like I'm under water but then restarting changes it
Hi I'm new to adding mic in a set up. I picked up the elgato wave 1 recently but I've been having issues with the sensitive. I've adjusted the settings on windows and the wavelink but it's still picking up so much background noise. TIA.

@@rubne I have the gain on the third dot and was still getting some noise. Ended up using nvidea broadcast to remove it

Just bought this mic along with Elgato's boom arm, and I intend to buy some IEMs as well. I'm really excited for my new audio setup!
